1. Mosasaurus can use it's fearsome array of teeth to catch fish, birds, other reptiles and even the great white sharks.

2. Mosasaurus has a second set of teeth in it's upper palate that ensures prey sliding down it's throat making it unable to escape.

3. A special joint allows the low jaw of the Mosasaurus to bend outward and engulf morsels wider then the lizards head.
