"so, how did you guys get here?" asked Maria, as they rode around the forest.

"What do you mean? You guys didn't beat that stupid video game?" Cosette asked.

"I did" Madison said cheerfully with her hand raised.

"Yeah, I did too" German said.

"Well we didn't!" Finn announced, "I'm a V. I. P! someone from the park reached out to our parents and invited us both, aren't they so nice?"

Ophelia nodded in agreement.

"Hey me too!" Summer said, "well, kinda, the park's technology company really liked my school report on them and invited me! Isn't that neat-- oooh and speaking of technology, can I take a picture of all of you?" She said taking out her phone.

But the truck came to an sudden stop making the kids jolt forward in their seat.

"Hey what gives?!" Cosette said as Max and Leo stepped out.

"Almost forgot" Leo said, "this is a camp, so that means no phones"

What came next was a symphony of 'what!' 'why' and 'aww'

"Sorry lovelies, but the tiny screen takes up too much of your attention," Max said while collecting everyone's phone in a make up type of bag, "how are you going to enjoy the sight of the dinos if your looking at your phone?"

"GREAT! So this is going to be even more boring!" Cosette said as Max got to her.

"Can I keep mine? I'd like to document the whole experience for future projects for the brand" Summer asked, "I did after all, get here because--"

"Yeah I guess thats fine" Max said getting in the truck just as the others started to complain.

"Sorry guys," Summer said, "but I promise to send you everything afterwards! Here lemme save your numbers now!"

The vehicle moved again, the kids looked around their natural environment, most had a smile on there face as the air breeze hit them and the sun shone bright above them.

But the truck came to another stop as something crossed it's path.

"Woah! Was that a dinosaur?!" Maria asked taking her seat belt off and turing to get a better look.

Everyone else copied her actions as everyone was wanting to see a dino. Even Cosette turned her head slightly to look, the quiet ones like German, Ophelia and Alex turned their heads and body's to look.

"Um, Leo what's going on?" Maria asked as the two counselors got out with a large tazer each.

"Nothing you need to worry about!" Max answered.

"But you should definitely stay in your seats!" Leo added as they disappeared behind the tall grass and leaves.

While everyone was busy trying to get a glimpse of the dino, Ophelia was the only one who noticed the rustle in the bushes behind them.

"Guys?" She said quietly, but nobody heard, "guys!" She said a little louder as the bushes rustling got louder.

Then out of the leaves a small compsognathus jumped out into the truck, making Ophelia yell and quickly move out of the way. Cosette jumped off the truck, and so did Finn.

That left Alex to fall back, the compy on his chest.

"Awesome!" He said hesitantly reaching out to touch it.

But before he could Leo took it off him, "there, crisis averted"

"Cool! A real life compsognathus!" Summer said leaning in closer as Leo put it in a small cage and in the truck's backseat.

"Oh, these things are always getting out of their enclose" Leo told her.

"Oh please, it took a blanket and a cat carrier to catch it, boring!" Cosette said as she got back in the truck.

"Alrighty, buckle up! We should be getting to camp soon!" Max said as they started the engine.

Max was right, a short ride through the forest and they arrived at a huge clearing. And the structures were incredibly built, they looked like tree trunks, basically all the floors were off the ground.

Right in front of the entrance a tall lady with short black hair stood. She wore white dress pants and a matching white coat-like top. And she had a wide smile on her lipstick red lips.

"This place is huge!" Madison said looking up.

The counselors parked the truck and everyone got off.

"That's cause when were up and running the camp will house 500 kids and 150 staff" Leo said to Madison, then he announced to the whole group, "hey campers! We'd like you to meet the camp director" he said motioning to huddle around the entrance.

"Thank you, Leo" she said.

"Your intro is still lame" Max whispered to Leo.

"Hey Campers!" The lady said, "you do not know how excited I am to finally have you here!" She smiled, "my name is Korina Alexander, I'm the camp's owner and director! As our first campers, we have lined up, exclusive behind the scenes tours of Jurassic World! How cool!?"

Summer was recording her.

"Very cool indeed," said a different voice.

The kids turned to see a man coming out of a black Cadillac. He wore a black suit and looked very important.

"Yes, even though it's very," he did air quotations, "cool" he walked up to Korina, "but our number one priority here is to keep you all safe" he turned to face the kids.

"Which means your curfew is at eight pm and lights out by nine pm sharp!" Leo said.

"Aww" the kids groaned.

"Boring!" Cosette said.

"I know, I know," Max said, "but this is for your safety"

"He's right" The man said, "you are in a dinosaur filled jungle, you must always keep your distance or you could be seriously hurt... or worse"

"But anyway!" Korina said with a laugh to get the attention back at her, "don't worry about that, you are very safe here and you're here to have fun! So get up there and choose a bunk! Stegosaurus Cabin is on the right and Dilophosaurus Cabin is on the left."

The kids looked at each other, confused.

"Umm... Cabins?" Summer asked.

"Your splitting us up?" Madison asked.

"Yeah we are!" Max said cheerfully.

"Well, it would be easier if each of us took care of four heads instead of eight" Leo said.

"So who's cabin is who's?" Maria asked.

"I call dibs being in Max's cabin!" Finn yelled out.

"Me too!" Almost everyone said, a few people even lined up on his side.

The man gave a chuckle, "that's not how it works"

"Yeah and who are you anyway?" Cosette asked him crossing her arms.

"Jack Nicholson, the actual park owner" he said looking at Korina.

Korina's smile faded a little as they had a short stare down. There was certainly some tension between the two.

"Anyway," Jack said looking back at the kids, "it was nice meeting you all, hope you enjoy your stay," he said walking down the steps and back to his car, "I'll see you soon" then he got inside and the car drove off.

"Alrighty you two! Pick and choose your members then have them settle in!" Korina said, full cheer back on, "we wouldn't want them to miss their first activity!" She walked down the stairs and left in another black vehicle.

"Ok so Max and I had already put you guys in cabins before you arrived" Leo said looking down at his clipboard, "so if I call out your name, congratulations your on Dilophosaurus Cabin with Max"

Max cheered for himself, "just step over this way kids!"

"Summer, Ophelia, Alex and Maddie!" as Leo called out their names, the kids lined up in front of Max.

"And the rest of you, Finn, Maria, Cosette and German, are with me in Stegosaurus Cabin!" Leo said, looking up, "now remember left" he pointed at the Dilophosaurs, "and right" he signed the Stegosaurus kids"

"Now go claim a bunk!" Max said, "we'll call you down for zip lining!"

"MAX!"

"Zipline!"

"Woah!"

"Cool!"

"It was supposed to be a surprise!"

"Sorry!"

"Last one up is a rotten dino egg!"  Maddie yelled, which caused most of the kids to run into the tree building.

Summer, Alex and German stayed behind, though and watched as Leo took the cage of the compy and handed it to a different employee.

"Wait! You think I can get a closer look!" Summer asked with her phone out, but it was too late as the Jeep drove off.

"Aww" Alex said.

"We missed it" German looked down.

"It's ok" Leo said putting his hand on German's shoulder, "the days not over, yet kids"

"But right now it's 'claiming a bunk time'" Max said, "so you know, go claim a bunk"
