Hays P.O.V.

I woke up in some sort of soft bedding. I look around to see where I was and noticed that I was in a cave. I try to get but I feel back to the ground. So I looked at my legs to see what was wrong and was shocked to see that they were huge clawed legs. I then looked at my hands to see I had three clawed hands. I gripped my head to find it too had changed.

"Oh your awake." I heard a female growl from the entrance of the cave.

I don't say anything as she stated to circling me. I hear her mumble something, "Well he seems strong enough." I tilt my head from the comment.

"Who are you? And why am I a Velociraptor?" I growl as I finally get to my feet.

She stops circling me and stares at me. "I don't know why you're a Velociraptor, but my name is Blue." She still stares at me and I start to feel uncomfortable.

"Could you stop staring at me please? It's a bit uncomfortable."

She giggles at the and nods. "Yes....... Alpha." She says smirking. I look at her confused and turn to leave trying to get used to my new body hoping it's not permanent. "Where are you going?" She asks.

"Somewhere." Looks ahead as I walk.

"Well I'm coming with you." She says walking behind me.

I stop and look at her. "No your not." My larger claws on my feet tapping on the ground.

"Yes I am we are a pack now. So I go where alpha goes."

I notice I wasn't going to win this argument so I snort in frustration and turn back around. "Fine." I start walking again and I hear her giggle.

"So, what is your name since I told you mine." She asks.

"It's Hays." I say annoyed as we kept walking.

"Nice name........ I saw you kill that human at those buildings. Why did you kill him?" She asks curiously.

"He had a gun in my face. I did what I had to do." I said plainly.

"But it doesn't seem right, you killing another human."

I growl at that frustrated and annoyed. "I don't like killing but I'll do it if I have to. Conversations over."
I speed my pace up and she does the same.

After an hour of walking and frustrating conversations my stomach starts growling.

"Seems like someone's hungry." Blue says giggling. I roll my eyes and I start to smell the scent of fresh meat. My mind, my Velociraptor mind, takes over and I follow the scent to a fresh killed longneck.

"That was killed by the T-Rex that seems to only come out when she's hungry." She says as I start to feast on the dead, lifeless, delicious body of the longneck. I felt the blood oozing down from my mouth. I then look over at blue seeing that she was staying to eat as well.

After a whole we had our fill of meat and we continued on walking. I was thinking about what happened and I say to myself, "that was a big change."
