~ Avni ~

     My heart is still beating faster. I'm scared for Neil's reaction. God knows what he will do.

" Avni relax " Ali said rubbing my shivering palms. I took a deep breath and nodded.

" Ab tak toh Neil ko hosh aagaya hoga " I asked him. He nodded in agreement.

" But don't worry you will be in flight till he reach here " he assured. I Hope so.

" Breaking news IPS Neil Khanna ke  upar hua jan lewa hamla " I heard it. I turned back and saw the news appearing on TV screen.

" Wo iss hamle main bach gaye par iss hamle ka sikar unki sasu maa ho gayi aur unki halat bahut kharab hai. Unko hospital main bharti kar diya gaya hai aur police gunhegar ko dhund rehi hai " what the fuck is this ? Neela maa is in hospital ? But...

" Yeh kese ho sakta hai....main abhi Neela Aunty ko call karta hun " Before Ali could call Neela maa Neil appeared on TV's screen.

" Sir yeh attack kiya kisne tha " the news reporter asked Neil.

" We still have to find out that but I think it was one of my enemy. I'm a police officer and I have a plenty of enemies so it could be one of the them. The attack was for me but my mother in law came in their target and got shot by them. I won't leave them. They will be behind the bars soon  " I was numb. Neela maa. No..no....god please save her please....I fell on my knees and cried.

" Avni sambhalo khud ko...she will be alright... nothing will happen to her " Ali said holding my shoulder.

" Thank God my wife was not at home that time " I heard Neil said and looked to the TV screen.

" Where were your wife " reporter asked Neil.

" She was with her friend " Is he really don't know or lying ?

" She must have got this news and will probably be here soon " 

" Avni... Avni..." I heard Ali shouted shaking my shoulder.

" Flight ka time ho gaya chalo jaldi " no I can't go leaving Neela maa in this situation. She need me. I should be there with her.

" main Neela maa ko chhod ke kese ja sakti hun Ali...unhe meri zaroorat hai "

" Avni main hun na yahan main unka dhyan rakhunga tum jao yahan se wo sabse zyada important hai "  Ali said cupping my face

" Neela maa se zyada important kuch nehi hai mere liye " I jerked off his hands.

    I came running inside the hospital. I asked the receptionist the room number and then started looking for the room. I hope Neela maa's condition will be better now. I saw the number which receptionist told me and I opened the door. I saw Neela maa is laying on bed.

" Maa..." I ran to her and held her hand. " Maa...aap...."

" Welcome back wifey " I froze for a moment as I know the owner of the voice very well. His tone was different than usual. Does he know I tried to escape from him ?

   I took a deep breath and turned to face him. His eyes are red and his face has a stern look.

" How was your meeting with your friend, wifey " he asked coldly.

" It...it was good "

  He walked towards me and I walked backward till my back hit the wall. He put his both hand on either side of me blocking my way.

" Wha...what are you doing " I asked clutching my saree's fabric. My heart is beating faster than anything. Neil roamed his finger on my face and then held it with his hand.

" Why you tried to escape, wifey ? Don't you want to live with your hubby who love you more than his life ? Tell me wifey " I was numb. I knew it he would know.

    I cursed Ali for his stupid plan. But wait that means all this was a drama ? But Neela maa ? Is she really got shorted or Neil did something with her ? I swear I will kill Neil if he tried to harm Neela maa.

" She is fine and sleeping peacefully. I gave her sleeping pills " Neil said clearing my all confusion but his tone was same.

" I asked you something, Avni " he said gritting his teeth after a few moment later and I flinched with his tone.

  Calm down Avni. He can't rule you. He don't own you. Fight back for yourself. I gathered some courage and pushed him.

" Then what you expect from me han ? You love me but I don't . You  forced me to marry you by blackmailing me and you expect from me to live with you like a slave "

       I burst out all my frustration. Enough is enough. I can't let him rule over me. It's my life and I'll live on my own conditions.

     We stayed like that for few minutes. He was only staring at me but didn't say anything. I can't stay here more it's suffocating me.

   I began to walk but again Neil pined me on wall with in a second. 

" I nothing expect from you, Avni. I only want you. Only you. And yes I blackmailed you to marry me and I won't ever regret for that. I love you and can do anything to keep you with me. Anything means anything "

    He stated. I'm speechless. This man is insane. God where I am stuck ?

" You know, I was very angry on you, but I forgive you as it was your first mistake. But I won't from next time, so be careful " I said tugging some hair strands behind her ear. I don't want to scared her but she should scared to go away from me.
   
" You must be tired, wifey, come let's go to OUR home " I said stretching the word 'our'. She have to accept that I'm her husband and it's her new life.

" I...." Before she could say anything I put my finger on her lips.

" We are going to OUR home wifey " I commanded.

" DD is here to take care of sasu mom. She can go home after waking up "

    I held her hand and began to walk but she didn't move. She was looking at sasu mom.

" I think you are too tired to walk, wifey. It's ok, your hubby can carry you in his arms "  the next moment she was in my arms looking at me with shocking expression. I kissed on her forehead and smiled.
