PART 48
NO PROOF READING!!
Folding his hands against his chest sidharth stood infront of Mr. Shergill. He was all calm and composed. Rajbir looked at sidharth with a different emotion this time.
Rajbir ji had witnessed that side of sidharth a while ago which he could never imagine. He had seen what happened in shehnaaz's room. He had seen how sidharth cared for her? He had seen how shehnaaz was looking at sidharth with longingness. He had seen how sidharth kissed her forehead. That was an assurance without words. He was well aware about that feeling as he used to do the same to his wife..Was it going all that way?
Rajbir ji was shocked to see what he had witnessed. Neither he could recognise his daughter nor sidharth in that scene. They both looked so much into each other. Her father never thought it to be such deep. This new revelation had worried him more now. What would he do now?
"Kya chahte ho sidharth" Rajbir ji came directly on the point. Sidharth looked at him for a while.
"Aapki beti" he kept his voice respectful this time. He remembered her words and honestly her words mattered to him.
"Tum sahi nhi ho uske liye" Rajbir ji calmly stated.
"Janta hoon" Rajbir ji looked at him surprised who was standing there all calm.
"Agar jante ho to kyun nhi chle jaate usse door" her father cared for his daughter only.
"Nhi jaa skta" sidharth kept his calm.
"Kyun nhi jaa skte" rajbir ji was getting angry now listening to his replies. He just wanted him to go away from his family.
"Kyunki jana nhi chahta" sidharth replied looking straight into his eyes. Rajbir's questions were frustrating him. He never liked anyone talking about his and shehnaaz.
"Dekho sidharth, mai nhi chahta k tum meri beti ki zindagi mai raho" rajbir ji stated sternly this time.
Sidharth was loosing his calm now but he kept himself in control. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Lekin vo to chahti hai" he now stood just infront of her father. It felt like he was challenging her father now. Rajbir's talks were increasing his insecurities again and he wanted to suppress those inscurities by proving Mr. Shergill wrong.
"Kyun aaye ho tum humari zindagi mai" rajbir ji felt so helpless now. He didn't know what should he do now? Even knowing sidharth's life, how could he let his daughter enter into that life.
"Kyunki aap ki beti meri zindagi ban chuki hai ab" his firm dominant voice made rajbir ji quiet now. His statement was another shock for him.
Sidharth himself went silent as his words processed in his mind. He didn't realize when those words left his mouth. He had been telling himself and her too that she had become an important part of his life. But him considering her his life, it surprised him too.
He looked at her father who was looking at him trying to understand what had been going inside him.
Taking a step away sidharth turned back and just walked out of the Shergill mansion.
Rajbir ji stood their looking at the door. His daughter had developed feelings for a man who loved to play with danger. How would he protect her daughter?
Feelings of his daughter was stopping him to rake any legal action against sidharth. There was no case as long as his daughter was equally involved.

Stopping his car infront of the same place where he took shehnaaz a while ago, sidharth got out of the car. Moving at the edge of the river, he set on the same place.
He kept looking at the calm water. Leaning back sidharth laid on the grass with his one hand under his head. His eyes got closed as various questions were ringing in his mind.
Did she really become his life? She was precious to him, he knew. But still was all this true? Had he given her that place in his life that his own existence he just honoured to her.
Her becoming his life meant her becoming the reason of his breaths. That's when another realisation hit him. Opening his eyes sidharth got up in an instant.
That was true!! She had become the reason of his breaths. He had felt his breaths going away with her distancing herself from him, with him finding her in danger, with him seeing her in pain.
It was all happening!! She surely had become his life!! This was another realisation that shook his insides with an extremely intense feeling he just felt.
Leaning back again sidharth pulled his hair.
"Naaz!! Kya bna diya hai tumne mujhe!!" breathed sidharth.
Closing his eyes he let the nature took care of him under the open sky in almost a jungle.

"Good morning papa" shehnaaz walked in the living room with difficulty.
"Puttar neeche kyun aaya tu, mai aa jata tere paas" rajbir ji helped her sitting on the sofa.
"Hospital jana hai aaj...ek baar proper check up ho jaye" rajbir ji looked at her little swollen leg.
She looked at her father wanting to know what had happened last night. She was totally unaware and was scared to ask her father directly.
How she was getting scared of her father? Surely she was changing either for good or bad. She herself didn't know.
"Papa" the uncertainty in her voice made her father realise what she must be thinking.
"Kuchh nhi hua kal...stress mat le" her father answered her unasked question. He avoided looking at her and she felt bad.
She moved closer to her father and wrapped her one arm around his.
"Aap sidharth ko ek chance nhi de skte? Please" she kept her head on his arm. They both were emotional at the moment. Their life was always theirs. Just a daughter, her father and her grandmother with the memories of her mother and grandfather. But now someone else had entered in their life.
Her father being scared of him that he could take his daughter away. The daughter was scared of leaving her father but her heart wanted his presence too in her life. Her heart wanted to be in his arms.
This was probably the story of every daughter. Every father wants to keep his daughter, his princes to himself but he knows that one day a prince would take his daughter with himself. But their case was different. Her father was worried for her future because his daughter was going into wrong hands. Was it really true or he had just made his wrong perception of sidharth?
"Papa kahan kho gye?" shehnaaz shook his arm a little. His thoughts broke listening her.
"Boliye na papa, aap kya sidharth ko ek chance nhi de skte" her voice had helplessness.
"Kis baat k liye chance doon bache...kya relation hai tum dono ka... kya chahti ho tum" her father came direct on the point now.
She got quiet for a moment. Hadn't she have an answer? For what she wanted a chance for him? She kept thinking what exactly she wanted.
"Sanu" her father caressed her hair. She kept sitting there quietly holding his arm..
"Usse dil lga liya hai bache tune" his words came as a shock to her. She looked at her father startled.
Her father knew she was yet to realise what were those emotions she felt for sidharth. But her father understood them seeing that deep love for sidharth in her eyes. The last night incident had made him realise that they were very serious about each other and probably they themselves didn't know that.
Even if Rajbir ji wanted to keep her away from him, he would never let her be in dark. She had to know what was she feeling because he knew if she didn't, it would keep hurting her always. It would keep her restless always. She wouldn't be able to keep herself calm ever. She would never get peace.
Whatever happens in her life, she needed to be true to herself to keep herself happy!!
He himself was in doubt if he was doing right keeping his daughter away from the person she had started feeling for.
He somewhere wanted to give sidharth a chance and seeing her daughter's feelings for him, he wanted sidharth to prove him wrong and prove himself to be the best man for his daughter. But was it possible? Should he take this chance of his daughter's life or it was a chance for his daughter's life?
"Sidharth" she mumbled shocked yet she felt a strong emotion that made her whole body shiver.
"Bol bache, chahne lgi hai na usse?" he asked straight.
She kept quiet but tears brimmed in her eyes. Yes, it was all true. She had feelings for him and her father just gave a name to her feelings letting her know the real meaning of those feelings.
"Papa, sidharth...mai...mujhe sukoon milta hai uske sath" tears rolled down her eyes as she looked at her father helplessly. Her father took her in his embrace and she cried like a child. He let her cry as it was so overwhelming for her.
She was happy realising the meaning of her emotions but she was scared too. What if she had to go away from him?
"Tere liye usse ek chance dene k liye tyaar hoon puttar, lekin ek wada chahiye tujhse" her father caressed her hair.
She came out of his arms and looked at him surprised. Did he really agree to give sidharth a chance. Her happiness contained no limit at the moment.
"Kya wada krna hai papa, aap boliye" a smile was there on her lips but her eyes were still moist.
"Ye uska pehla aur akhiri chance hoga..bula le usse mai baat krna chahta hoon" he smiled at her daughter. He had agreed just for his daughter but it wasn't going to be easy. Neither for him nor for sidharth.
"Thank you papa" she hugged her father happily. But the next moment another thought gripped her mind.
Was sidharth ready for this chance? She didn't know about his feelings. Was he having the same feelings for her? Restlessness and worry took over her happiness now.
Will they ever be able to come together?
