PART 43

NO PROOF READING!!

Shehnaaz woke up the next morning. Her eyes moved around to see sidharth but he was not there. She wanted him to be there.

The door opened and her father and dadi entered inside. A soft little smile came on her lips. Her dadi cried looking at shehnaaz's condition. How many injuries her little granddaughter got.

"Papa" shehnaaz slowly called her father near herself.

"Haan puttar bol" he set beside her.

"Ghar jana hai" came her low voice. She didn't want to stay there anymore. Yesterday she was not fully conscious but today she could understand her surrounding well.

"Bache ek aur raat ki baat hai. kal hum chle jayenge yahan se".

"Please papa, ghar jana hai" she was on the verge of crying. She was not feeling good in that hospital.

She could never stay in a hospital. The place suffocates her.

She just wanted to go home. Her father tried to make ger understand but she turned her face to the other side as tears fell down her eyes. She was feeling too weak and her being in hospital made her loose her little control on herself.

Rajbir ji sighed. He agreed to take her home and went out to talk to the doctor for the arrangements of her discharge.

In the next two hours all arrangements were done. Doctor agreed to discharge her after instructing Mr. Shergill to take all the necessary precautions in her case.

Before going back to home she wanted to see one person only. She waited but he didn't come.  Siddharth was nowhere. She kept looking around reslessly to see him once. She didn't feel good to go without seeing him once but she had to go. Hospital made her feel suffocated. She couldn't stay there for long.

She could feel his presence around. She knew he was close to her. He was there but she was unable to see him in front of her eyes.

In the next two hours she was taken back to home in an ambulance as her leg had plaster so it wasn't possible to take her in the car. She needed proper care.

Taking her in her room with the help of nurse she was made to lay on the bed carefully. Making sure she went asleep her father and dadi left the room letting her rest. Doctor had advised them to let her rest as much as she could. Sleep would help to give her much needed rest both physically as well as mentally.

Nurse was there for her all the time. Shehnaaz asked her father to sent her back at night. She didn't want a daughter to stay away from her family at night even if it was her work. Also she felt she didn't need her at night as she would be sleeping. Her father agreed on her insistence.

It was 9 at night. Mr. Shergill entered in shehnaaz's room to check on her once. She was sleeping. Her father set beside her and caressed her hair.

"Uth gya bache, sorry mai to bas dekhne aaya tha k tu theek hai" shehnaaz's sleep broke as she felt her father's presence.

Shehnaaz smiled at her father shaking her head in no.

"Mai theek hoon papa" her weak voice made her father emotional..

"Apna khyaal rakha kar puttar, dar lgta hai tere liye" her father's voice got heavy. He loved his daughter so much. He always tried to keep her safe, to keep her protected but still she got hurt. He felt himself to be responsible for her condition as he couldn't protect her.

Mr. Shergill and Sidharth thinks the same in case of Shehnaaz. They both want to keep her protected. They both want to keep her safe. They both blame themselves if anything happens to her.

"Papa" mumbled shehnaaz understanding her father's emotions. Her father had become so emotional after the death of her mother. Shehnaaz always understands her father.

"Haan haan theek hoon puttar. Tujhe kuchh chahiye sanu" he asked her lovingly.

"Kuchh ni chahiye papa. Aap so jao...mai theek hoon.. Please papa take rest" she gave a smile to her father easing his worried self.

"Good night mere sher puttar. Jldi se theek ho ja bas" kissing her forehead he left the room.

Tears formed in her eyes. She too missed her mother. Always!!

Shehnaaz was laying straight on her bed. She couldn't sleep after talking to her father. Suddenly she was missing her mother too much. She always missed her presence in her life, her love, her warmth but that moment she felt too emotional.

Her eyes were closed when she felt some movement in her balcony. She knew it was him. She was sure. Her heart beats got fast. His presence! Her heart could easily feel him..

Entering inside her room sidharth find her eyes on him only. He walked towards her looking into those pretty eyes. Standing beside her bed sidharth kept looking at her. That eye - lock was something different. It was something more deep than ever before.

"Kahan chle gye the?" sidharth heard her little trembling weak voice. The extreme weakness could easily felt in her voice.

"Kaisi ho?" ignoring her question he asked her softly.

What would he tell her? How could he tell her that he was there only all the time. The time she was crying to go home, the moment she was looking restlessly to see him once and he knew that. He had the same restless to go to her but he kept himself in control. He had seen her family taking her home. He was present there all the time.

The presence of her family didn't let him go infront of her. Neither he feared her family nor he cared. He just cared for her. He knew it would affect her. She had to be relaxed and calm. That thought made him stop himself.

He waited for the night to see her again. The urge to see her all the time was getting stronger every moment. It was getting deep into his heart.

"Tum vahan the" her voice was slow but her words had confidence. He looked into her eyes and he knew that she knew. He stayed silent.

She was about to say something but the sudden cough caused her to stop. Sidharth took the glass from the side table. Pouring water from jug he kept the glass on table again. Sitting beside her against the backrest he slid his hand beneath her head and pushed it a little up and instantly rested it against his arm.

Taking the glass he brought it near her lips and made her drink. She took a small sip and  coughed again spitting water out.

"Relax naaz! Relax" sidharth again made her take a small sip. She gulped it this time. Holding her protectively against himself sidharth rubbed her arm calming her.

"Take one more sip" she took another sip and turned her face to other side denying to have more. He kept the glass back and kept her head back on the pillow ever so softly. Her head injury didn't let his worry go.

"Where is the nurse" sidharth wiped the water drops from her face. His actions always made her feel belonged to him more deeply.

"We sent her home" she was happy that the nurse must be at her home now. She knew the feeling of being away from family and she never liked it.

"Why? She should be here. You need proper care" sidharth didn't understanding why her father sent her home. He was thinking for shehnaaz only. Only she mattered to him.

"Hum chahte the vo raat ko apne ghar jaye. apni family k paas" Sidharth looked at her amused. She was so injured and still she wanted the nurse to go home? Why she had to be so giving, so polite.

"You need a nurse naaz. You can't manage yourself" he stated determinent. He could never compromise with her health.

"She will be back in the morning" she softly said.

"And in night?" he didn't like her not thinking for herself. Why couldn't she?

"I'll be fine at night" she tried to reason. She knew he didn't like it.

"You were not fine a moment ago" he raised his one brow at her. She looked at him scared now. He was definitely not liking it. Her ignoring her own self.

She kept quiet not having an answer.

"Naaz! don't trouble yourself. Just don't" his voice was stern this time. She was his priority and he won't tolerate any ignorance to her health. Even it was her own self.

She moved her eyes down keeping quiet. It irritated him more. Why did she do that?

"Naaz!" he was a little loud this time. She looked at him sensing his rising anger.

"You need to be fine soon" he caressed her knuckle looking at her with deep longingness. She just blinked her eyes feeling herself getting emotional again.

"Sleep now" sidharth kissed her forehead. Caressing her cheek softly with his knuckle he got up and went towards the single sofa placed near her bed.

Shehnaaz looked at him once and closed her eyes. She was missing her mother and he came there. She was missing her care and he cared for her.

Her eyes got moist again. She bite her lips to control those tears from falling down but she couldn't.

His eyes were at her only. The moment she bit her lips, he knew she will cry. Getting up he went to her again.

"Ro kyun rhi ho" sidharth wiped her tears. She just shaked her head in no.

"Ahh" a whimper left her mouth as she tried to bring her hand close to wipe the fresh layer of tears which rolled down again.

"Naaz kya kar rhi ho? Chot lgi hai tumhe" shouted sidharth placing her hand back softly. His shout made her cry more. Realising he cursed himself.

"Naaz! Stop crying" sidharth wiped her tears again. She pressed her lips controlling her tears.

"Relax naaz! calm down!" he softly rubbed her cheek with his thumb. He wiped her cheeks again. Leaning down he kissed her hurt hand soothing her pain.

"You fine?" he caressed her knuckle again. She nodded her head blinking her eyes. Leaning on her a little he kissed her eyes taking away
her tears.

"You need rest..hmm!" he was soft now.

"Yahin rho... Please!" she didn't want him to go away from her. He looked at her and she looked at the other side of her bed asking him to come on her bed.

"Yahin hoon" he pulled the sofa close to her bed. Sitting on the sofa he blinked his eyes asking her to slip.

She looked at him and then at her hand. She wanted him to hold her hand and he understood. He kept her hand carefully on his without pressing it.

"Sleep now" he moved her hair away from her cheek. She entangled her fingers softly with his assuring herself that he would be there. He understood her feeling and tightened his fingers on her softly giving her much needed assurance.

She took a deep breath of relief. He was there and she was calm now. Closing her eyes she let sleep take over her.

He kept looking at her sleeping figure.

It was going to be his yet another sleepless night. The only difference was that he had his sukoon.

This time the sleep was away from him to take care of her!!
