Stepping inside the vanity shehnaaz closed the door behind and went towards the couch. Thumping herself on the couch she leaned back closing her eyes.

It was 5 in the evening. The day was too long for her. She had to shoot continuously with short breaks in between.

Her mobile rang making her sit back and take the mobile from dressing table. A soft smile made its way on her tired face.

"Hanji" leaning back again she answered the call while the tiredness could be felt in her voice.

"naaz you okay ? thak gyi ho baby ? kitni der chalegi shooting aur ? boht time ho gya hai ab toh, mai aa jaun lene baby ?" she heard sidharth ask plenty of questions without any pause.

The worry could be felt in his voice even though be tried to remain calm while asking her multiple questions.

This was the sixth call she had received from him since morning. He had called to check on her in every break. She was wondering how did he get to know the timing of break time but then observing arjun around her keeping a check on her and then on call every now and then cleared her confusion.

Sidharth knew she must be working so he didn't want to disturb her but he made sure to assure the she was doing fine. Only when she was in her vanity resting for some time, he would call her to hear from her that she was all well.

"Sidharth mai theek hun bilkul. thoda sa thak gyi hun aur bass last shot dena baaki hai. thodi der mai free ho jaungi. abhi tum shant ho jao" she made sure not to sound tired this time or else he would be worrying all the more for her than he was now.

"okay mai nikal raha hun bass yahan se toh 20 minute mai wahan pohnch jaunga. Jab free ho, inform me and come out with arjun. akele nhi aana. okay ?" she heard his dominant yet soft tone to which she nodded instantly.

"Good and next time use your words baby" hearing him chuckle slightly she bite her tongue realising that she was nodding at him on the call.

He couldn't see her yet he understood that she nodded at him. The thought made her smile to herself.

"haan sidharth, samjh gyi. dhayan se aana, tez nhi chalana gaadi" she warned him in her cute strict tone which sounded strict to her only. Fir him she was sounding cute like always.

"sure biwi" responded sidharth with a deep chuckle and she could feel the huskiness in his voice which tinted her cheeks red instantly.

Hearing biwi from his mouth always do things to her which she couldn't describe. It was one such beautiful feeling she wanted to feel till her last breathe. The feeling of being his wife, the feeling of him being her husband.

A knock on the door took her attention. Getting up she moved to the door and opened to find a spot boy standing outside.

"ma'am shot ready hai. Aapko bula rahe hain" the spot boy informed her making her nod.

"okay arsh mai 2 minute mai aa rahi hun" she smiled politely to which he nodded and went back. Closing the door she walked back in the vanity.

"sidharth mujhe..." she was interrupted by sidharth before she could finish her sentence.

"i know naaz. i heard. tum jao, jldi se kaam khatam karo and we will head home. hmm baby" sidharth's loving tone made her smile as if she got her energy to complete this last shot of the day as well as the year.

"okay sidharth, bye" she hung up and kept the mobile back on the dressing table. Looking at herself for once in the mirror. Settling her little messy hair she went out of the vanity.

Closing the door behind she took a long breathe before heading towards the location. Till now all her energy was drained out. Though talking to sidharth helped her to feel better but she just wanted to ran into her husband's embrace and sleep peacefully.

'Sidharth' she breathed his name as a smile made its way on her lips with the thought of going back to him within the next hour.

Resting his head back with his eyes closed and his fingers drumming on the steering, sidharth was waiting for his naaz while sitting in his car.

A minute later his heart felt the presence of its other part closer letting him know that she was there. His heart could feel her presence even before his eyes could capture her.

Opening his eyes he turned his face to his left and there she was. His lips curved up into a smile taking in her presence in with his eyes. 

With her shawl on hanging on her left shoulder and the bag in her hand, she was walking towards the gate with arjun beside her.

Lifting her gaze up she looked at his car and he could see a smile forming on her face. Though she could not see him inside the car from far but she was relieved with the thought of going into his arms within next few seconds.

Walking closer arjun took a step ahead of her and opened the passenger door for shehnaaz. She gave him a smile appreciating his gesture.

"Hi sidharth" arjun smiled politely as he looked at sidharth from the open door once shehnaaz settled in.

"Hi Arjun, thanks man for taking care of her" sidharth was polite which made arjun nod politely in return.

"my pleasure, bye shehnaaz" giving her a nod arjun closed the door while sidharth started the car. Giving her a glance sidharth drove towards home.

"i missed you" sidharth heard her tired yet sweet angelic voice which made him turn his towards her glancing at her for a second before turning his gaze back on the road.

"mujhse zyadan nhi" sidharth whispered keeping his gaze on the road while his words made her smile before leaning back on the seat.

"tired, naaz?" asked sidharth while driving to which she hummed keeping her eyes closed.

Glancing at her once sidharth kept his left hand on hers which was resting in her lap. Entwining his fingers with hers he brought her hand closer to his lips and placed a warm kiss on her knuckles making her smile though she kept her eyes closed being tired.

"sona hai baby ? neend aa rahi hai ?" asked sidharth while keeping her hand in his to which she again hummed in response.

Glancing at her he could see she had already started drifting to sleep. Smiling softly at her he didn't ask anything more letting her sleep peacefully.

Pulling the car aside of the door he made her seat lean back and then covered her properly with her shawl making it comfortable for her to sleep.

Once satisfied he buckled his seat belt again and started the car again pulling on the road. The rest of the drive went in silence as shehnaaz was sleeping and sidharth was lost in his own thoughts.

Within the next hour, the car pulled in the raichand mansion as the guards opened the gate and closed behind once the car was inside.

Stepping out of the car sidharth walked towards her side. Pulling the door open he leaned inside over her and unbuckled her seat.

Kissing her forehead he carefully took her outside and pushed the door behind with his back closing it. Holding her protectively in his arms sidharth moved towards the main door.

Pushing the door open he entered inside and closed the door behind. Glancing at her once sidharth walked inside and taking the stairs he went towards their room.

Entering inside he kept her on the bed careful enough to not to awake her. Placing her head on the pillow he tucked her in the blanket. Placing a kiss on her forehead sidharth went to washroom.

Getting freshen up he came back in the room and changed into a comfy lower and t shirt before getting into the blanket beside her.

Pulling her into his chest sidharth engulfed her into his arms from behind. Recognising his touch in her sleep she snuggled back into his chest.

Smiling he pressed a kiss on her jaw before hiding his face in her hair. Inhaling her scent he closed his eyes letting sleep engulf him too.

Sitting on the sofa in the living room shehnaaz was watching tv. It was 8 in the night. She has woken up half an hour ago only to find herself alone in the bed.

Coming downstairs she had found sidharth preparing something them to eat. Though she wanted to help him but he didn't let her enter in the kitchen.

Taking in her arms sidharth had taken her in the living room. Making her sit on the sofa he switched on the tv passing the remote to her and then went back in the kitchen.

Going through all the channels she finally stopped to watch doreman. Laying back comfortably she fixed her eyes on the tv totally involved in the cartoons.

The door bell rang making her look at the door with a frown. Who could be there in their house and that too at this hour. Confused she was about to get up to see who was on the door.

"Wait baby, i'll go" sidharth stopped her while coming out of the kitchen. Obeying she set back as her eyes followed sidharth to the door.

She knitted her eyebrows together thinking who was on the other side of the door. Waiting impatiently for sidharth to open the door she was ready to go and check herself.

The door opened as shehnaaz waited for the person to come in. Her eyes widened in surprise the next second as her father, dadi and the deshmukhs entered inside.

"papa" getting up from the sofa she ran towards them in excitement. Her father pulled her in his warm embrace chuckling at her excitement.

"kaisa hai mera sher puttar" patting her back rajbir ji unwrapped his arms from around her while keeping his one hand on her head.

"boht achha, aap sab ko miss kiya boht" giving a bright smile to her father she turned to her dadi hugging her tight and giving a kiss on her cheek.

"kaise ho sidharth?" rajbir ji patted his back as he took him in a big manly hug letting sidharth feel the love in his fatherly embrace.

Exchanging a few talks with rajbir ji sidharth turned his attention towards raghav and payal. Giving a brotherly hug to raghav he side hugged payal welcoming them inside followed by shehnaaz greeting them as payal took her in a bone crushing hug.

"Aap logon ne ye best surprise diya hai aaj hume" shehnaaz exclaimed with joy while everyone chuckled at her making her confuse.

Turning her face to sidharth she looked at him confusedly as he too had a smile on his face looking at her in adoration.

"shehnaaz surprise tum dono ko nhi sirf tumhe mila hai kyunki ye surprise sidharth ne hi plan kiya tha" raghav chuckled while she looked back at sidharth who gave her a smile confirming that raghav said the truth.

"Kal new year hai. I wanted us to celebrate together. complete family" getting up sidharth took a seat beside shehnaaz. Wrapping his arm around her shoulder he pulled her closer giving a kiss on her forehead.

"tum best ho. jaante ho na ye baat" gazing into his eyes with love she whispered only for him to hear.

"haan jaanta hun k tum best ho" he smiled at her as he whispered back to her.

"mai nhi tum. i said tum best ho" pouting she corrected him making him laugh lightly.

"maine bhi toh wahi bola baby k tum best ho" his words made her pout more and then she just shook her head smiling back at him.

Later the family had their dinner together discussing the plans for new year. Raghav had bring fire crackers along so they had decided to go on terrace for fireworks.

Post dinner sidharth arranged a bonfire on the terrace. The family enjoyed talking, laughing and teasing each other while waiting for the clock to turn 12.

"Happy New Year" raghav was the one shouting with enthusiasm as the fireworks bursted filling the sky with different colors and sparkles.

Dadi was sitting on a chair along with rajbir ji enjoying the fireworks while payal was standing with raghav bursting the crackers jumping like an excited kid.

Standing at the far edge of the terrace, sidharth has his arm wrapped around her waist tucking her closer in his chest. Leaning into his warmth with her head kept on his chest, she was gazing at the sky filled with sparkles and different colours.

"Happy new year naaz" mumbled sidharth keeping his chin on her head. Lifting her face up she rested her chin on his chest looking him in the eyes.

"Happy new year sidharth" she breathed gazing into his eyes with the equal love. Smiling sidharth leaned his face on hers pressing a warm lingering kiss on her forehead.

With a sweet smile lingering on her lips she pressed her lips on his chest kissing him there. His grip tightened around her waist pulling her closer as they gazed at each other with love.

Hugging each other good night everyone went back in their rooms. It was too cold outside for which sidharth had made sure that shehnaaz was wrapped completely in a warm shawl.

Entering inside their room sidharth closed the door behind while shehnaaz tiredly walked towards the bed. Locking the door sidharth followed her quietly observing her.

"naaz theek ho na tum?" sidharth took a seat on the bed watching shehnaaz laying on the bed in an uneven position.

"haan sidharth. neend aayi hai, sote hain na abhi" she mumbled closing her eyes. Though sidharth wasn't satisfied with her answer but he chose to make her sleep for now.

Getting up he pulled shehnaaz up making her lay back on the bed properly. Sliping beside her he pulled the duvet over themselves.

Stretching his arm he made her keep her head on his arm snuggling closer to his chest. Whispering good night sidharth kissed her hair waiting for her response.

Realising her not replying back he looked down at her only to see her sleeping peacefully. Chuckling slightly he kissed her forehead and pulling her closer he shut his eyes to sleep too.

Holding her hand in his protective hold, sidharth led her up the stairs of the mandir. It was early morning and dadi had asked everyone to visit mandir on the first day of a new year.

So here the family was, at the mandir where sidharth and shehnaaz got married months back. This mandir has their memories attached with.

Climbing all the stairs they finally made their way inside the mandir. Shehnaaz covered her head with the dupatta before stepping inside.

Standing in front of the ideal she closed her eyes while folding her hands in front of the idol. Sidharth observed her silently before doing the same.

Both the couples did aarti while rajbir ji and dadi prayed for the happiness of both the couples. They had grown attached to raghav and payal as well wishing them all the good in their life.

Having a good time at mandir the family headed back to home. At the way home shehnaaz didn't feel okay which made her rest her head back on the seat as sidharth drove them home.

She was sitting with dadi at the back seat as rajbir ji was sitting on the passenger seat. Payal and raghav were in his own car.

"Naaz?" sidharth glanced at her from the rear mirror. He could see that she wasn't feeling well and this was worrying him again.

Since yesterday morning she wasn't looking well. Though she assured him multiple times that she was fine but he wasn't going to buy ut anymore.

Either she liked it or not, they were visiting a doctor today itself. He couldn't ignore her health more and this time he would not let her convince him otherwise.

Her eyes met his through the mirror and she could see that he was worried. Giving him a small smile she tried to assure him but the look in his eyes let her know that he wasn't convinced at all.

The car stopped in the front of the Raichand mansion. The guards quickly opened the gate as sidharth drove inside followed by raghav's car.

Parking the car sidharth stepped out followed by everyone. Taking long steps he walked to his naaz who just closed the door after stepping out of the car.

"sidharth mai theek hun" she said softly as sidharth wrapped his arm around her shoulder leading her inside followed by everyone.

"I see, you look pretty well" she could feel the sarcasm in his tone which made her shut her mouth as they walked inside silently.

"puttar abhi 7 hi baje hain toh thodi der aur so lo sab. raat ko bhi late soye the" rajbir ji proposed to which everyone agreed.

Taking dadi's hand rajbir ji led her to her room while raghav pulled payal towards the kitchen as he was hungry while sidharth and shehnaaz went upstairs.

"sidharth mai..." reaching inside their room shehnaaz was about to say something but stopped midway.

Keeping her hand on her mouth she rushed towards the washroom making sidharth frown in confusion.

"naaz?" worried he rushed towards the washroom not understanding what happened to her all of sudden.

Getting inside he could see her bending on the toilet throwing up. Taking quick long steps sidharth stood behind her pulling her hair into his soft hold keeping them behind.

His other hand rubbed her back trying to soothe her as she kept throwing up. Once she calmed down sidharth helped her to stand up and walked her towards the washbasin.

She slowly washed her mouth brushed her teeth while sidharth stood beside her all the time holding her against himself. Washing her face properly she was handed a towel by him.

Wiping her face clean she just leaned her head against his chest letting him hold her. She didn't feel the energy to take even a step herself.

Holding her up in his protective arms sidharth walked outside. Keeping her on the bed he made her lay down placing a pillow beneath her head. Tucking her in a blanket from head to toe he set beside her.

"pani peena hai baby?" the softness in his voice soothed her insides. Nodding she tried to get up but he was quick to move towards her.

Holding her shoulders he pulled her up and set behind her making her lean her back against his chest. Holding the jug from the side table he poured some water in an empty glass.

Keeping the jug back he held the glass in his one and keep the other wrapped around her shoulder. Bringing the glass closer to her lips he made her take a sip and then another.

"Bss, aur ni peena" she denied as he touched the glass against her lips again. Taking a small sip she moved her face aside resting it on his chest which made him keep the glass back on the table.

"sar ghum raha hai" she mumbled in his chest to which he pulled her closer making her sit in his lap. Resting her face back on his chest he stroked her hair lovingly while pulling his mobile out.

Dialing a number he kept the mobile closer to his ear while his other hand kept stroking her hair making her close her eyes and loose her body completely against his.

"Rana.." sidharth said as soon as the call was answered.

The bell rang. Getting up from the sofa raghav went to open the door. A lady doctor in her mid forties stood on the other side of the door with her leather medical bag in her hand.

"Hello doctor, please come" raghav greeted the woman politely leading her inside. He then led her upstairs to sidharth's room.

Raghav entered inside followed by the doctor while the whole family was already inside the room. Sidharth was sitting holding his naaz against himself as she refused to let go of him.

Rajbir ji and dadi were sitting on the couch placed in the room while payal was in the kitchen making something for shehnaaz to eat.

"I need everyone out while i check mrs. Raichand" the doctor said politely to which rajbir ji held dadi's hand taking her outside followed by raghav who closed the door behind.

"Sidharth yahin raho" shehnaaz mumbled against his chest not wanting him to go. He looked at doctor who nodded with a slight smile letting him stay.

"mrs. Raichand can you please lay on the bed" the dr. asked politely as she was a little scared of sidharth. Though she was assured for her safety before bringing her here yet she was somewhere scared knowing who he was.

Seeing other people present in the house had made her feel at a little more ease but sidharth being present in the room and the thought of her checking his wife made her nervous again.

"naaz thodi der ki baat hai baby aur mai yahin hun...tumhare paas hi hun.. okay?" sidharth whispered sweetly as she clinged onto him more while he tried to make her lay on the bed.

His words made her obey and she laid on her back on the bed while her hand held his in a tight grip. He set beside her with his hold firm on her hand assuring her that he was there.

The doctor looked at them amused before taking a seat beside shehnaaz on the other side of bed. She couldn't believe that sidharth raichand could be this soft with anyone.

"Toh sidharth aap bata rahe the k kal se theek nhi hai shehnaaz ki tabiyat" the dr. asked while checking her pulse.

Sidharth answered every question the doctor asked as she did her check up while shehnaaz laid there holding sidharth's hand.

"okay, shehnaaz take this bottle and go to washroom. I need your urine for some tests" the doctor passed her a little bottle.

Shehnaaz hesitantly held the bottle and got up. Sidharth didn't let her walk rather he took her in his arms and went towards washroom. He dropped her inside and closed the door waiting outside.

A minute later she came out with the bottle in her hand. Sidharth again took her in his arms and walked towards the bed. Making her sit he took the bottle from her hand and passed it to the doctor.

"Well congratulations mr. and mrs raichand, shehnaaz you are pregnant. I will have this test conducted and announce you a confimed result till noon" the doctor said with a smile.

I don't know if i will write this pregnancy phase in detail or will jump directly on the 9th month. Honestly i have zero knowledge for this one so will have to do research before writing.
