Allen sighed, texting Lilly.

A: I'm sorry I just ran like that.

L: It's okay.

A: Wanna come over?

L: Sure! ^^

Allen smiled. Lilly was still his friend. 

Soon, she knocked on the door. Allen opened the door.

"H-hi."

"Sup."

Lilly came in. "W-wow, it's very b-big in here."

Allen nodded. "Yeah, it really is."

Lilly looked at him. "H-Hey, Allen?"

"Hm?"

"Wh-why did you run?"

Allen sighed. He knew that sooner or later he would have to tell the story.

"Well... Let's just start at the beginning."

Two years ago...

Allen, Aron, and Allison were freshmen at the school. Allen was liked by a lot of the girls because of his muscle and his money. He was also very friendly and not as closed off at all.

He met a girl named Hannah. She seemed to actually like him for who he was. They would play video games, watch movies, and go to restaurants. Allen liked her, and she seemed to like him back.

Then, one day, he saw her in a restaurant, kissing another boy.

She looked up to see him, her eyes widening. "Allen, it isn't what you think, I'm-"

Allen stormed out. He became more closed off and less trusting of anyone who wasn't in his family. The girls soon realized he wasn't interested and left him be.

Back to the present...

Lilly nodded. "O-Oh..."

"I'm really sorry. It's just, I have a hard time trusting people. I don't want it to happen again."

Lilly nodded. "I-I understand."

Then, she smiled. "W-Well, I'm nothing l-like that person, I-I promise. I-I actually like you for who you are."

Allen smiled. "Thanks for understanding."

The two ended up falling asleep on the couch, watching YouTube.
