Hello everyone! Wow...it's been a while since I've opened up this book, hasn't it? I wish I had some good news to come with this sudden announcement like a date that this book will reopen, but sadly, it's just the opposite. It's been nearly two years since I've done reviews, and there are a few reasons as to why I stopped. I feel like a broken record at this point, but between school, running the UAStorytellers page, life, keeping up with my own personal work...I've put this on the back burner and never really felt the need to open it up.

That was when I realized how burnt out I was of creating reviews.

Don't get me wrong! I loved being able to help writers grow. It's amazing seeing people have a passion for their work and want to improve, and I can help them with it. At the same time, the amount of stories I'd get where I'd give them constructive criticism and was either ignored in a sense or the book was then torn down or put to a forever hiatus within weeks of helping them out...it's not a good feeling. Time and effort is put into those reviews, and I just don't know which reviews would be taken seriously.

I will say, I do understand that writers change, whether it be with their writing style, interest, or inspiration, that there does need to come a point where what they had needs to be taken down or is put to a stop. Trust me, I get it! Before my Pokemon trilogy, I had written a story that had a few chapters up before I realized how bad it was, so I tore it down. I had totally rewritten and redrafted the third book of my Pokémon trilogy, causing me to tear it down halfway through it. It happens, and there's nothing wrong with doing it.

Yet, when it happens a few times, I just get dishearten and feel like my work has been for nothing. I feel bad that I won't be able to help people improve on their writing by closing this, but at the same time, I hardly have time to work on my own stories. I think it's time for me to step back and just focus what makes me happy.

Which sounds selfish, I know, but I don't know how else to explain it. I just hope you all can understand where I'm coming from here.

Now, does that mean I will never do a review again? No. While I'm closing my own shop, I did start a review book in the UAStorytellers group. They'll only accept BNHA/MHA stories, and yes, I do mean "they" as in a group because I may not be the one reviewing it. I can assure you that we have rules in place to ensure that if you submit your story for a review, you'll get constructive feedback that will help you grow as a writer. If your book is submitted and I am interested, then I might review it, but it's all by volunteer basis, so you can get feedback as quickly as possible and get a critic who's skillful in whatever area you want looked over in your book.

If your story isn't BNHA/MHA based, but you'd still want a review, there are review shops found in this book and my previous one. Some are inactive, sure, but you can also look through Wattpad by typing "Review Book" and some will pop up.

If you're having so much trouble and neither of those services will work, you're more than welcome to DM me and ask. I might not take up a request if I'm busy, am not the best person for the job, or whatever the case may be, BUT I may be able to redirect you to someone who'd be more helpful.

So, yes, I'm closing up shop for good. I hope you all can understand.
