Day 3

You rubbed your eyes open as you sat up, taking in an unfamiliar smell. You opened your eyes to find yourself in a room you haven't seen before, the smell was obviously air freshener that was used not too long agoc, you assumed.

but the thing that scared you the most was the fact you didn't know where you were. You ran to a nearby window and looked outside, the building you were currently in was right next to the beach. It was pretty dark out so you looked at the clock, "4:37.." you mumbled and continued to look at the view outside.

The sun was just starting to rise and you very well knew that in the next few minutes or so, the sky will turn a light orange with a tint of pink and color the whole sky. The ocean below will also complete the masterpiece. You decided to stay up just it longer so you can relax while looking at the beauty that is soon to come.

Just as you sat back, a light creak came from behind you. You looked back to see a messy-haired Jungkook holding a bottle of air freshener, "Oh? You're awake.." he smiled gently and came in the room.

"I was just gonna Febreze the air for the third time, I wanna make the place smell good." He said whilst chuckling. He walked over and sat next to you on the ground looking out the window as well.

"How are you holding up?" He asked.

"I'm doing alright, I just want to dream myself away from here."

"Dream yourself away? What do you mean?" He asked while scooting in front of you enough to where you were able to have a full view of the beach and his face at the same time.

"After falling asleep next to Taehyung, I had a dream. It was a beautiful dream. I forgot what it was about, but it made me feel...fluffy? I don't remember my dream, but I remember what I felt."

You smiled at the feeling of the sudden weight that was taken off your shoulders, "I-...I hate reality. Now that a lot of important people to me are gone, I don't really know what to do. Would you perhaps help me spend my last few months being happy?"

The whole time you were speaking, Jungkook just stared straight into your eyes. You kept avoiding eye contact with him until now, you were staring back at him. Without trailing his eyes away, he moved his hand closer to yours until his was on top of it.

"Of course I will," he says while caressing your hand with his thumb, "you must have gone through a lot, I have no problem helping you." He showed his bunny teeth that you only seemed to grow fond of now.

He suddenly stood up with his Febreze and sprayed the room, "I'll make some breakfast, what do you want?" You raised your hand a little and shook your head, "Anything is fine, I'll come with you, just let me go change into a better shirt." You replied, and he walked out heading towards the kitchen.

After you slipped on a loose white dress, which seemed to be the only wardrobe in the closet, you checked your phone to see 4 messages.

hey Jungkook told me you were gonna stay at his house so I just wanted to make sure you got there safe. lololol. he freaking told me you were snoring the whole way there, and from experience, the whole car ride for him must have been embarrassing

You giggled and sent her a, "❤️😏alroighty,and for gods sakes, I already know how freaking embarrassing the car ride must have been LMAO."

You turned off your phone and headed towards the kitchen, or at least somewhere down the hall since you have no clue where the kitchen is. The smell of waffles showed you the way and you thank god for the gift of food tracking.

You entered the room and saw Jungkook standing eagerly next to the toaster with a plate of 10 waffles right next to you. The waffles piped up and you flinched, meanwhile Jungkook immediately grabbed the waffles and threw them on the plate as well.

You came a bit closer to see what he was doing next to find him taking out more frozen waffles, "Wait!" You screeched while holding your hand out trying to stop him using the force. He flinched, but not by a lot, he looked at you with his big doe eyes. "Y/n! At least tell me you're there!" He smiled.

"Why are you making so much waffles?" You asked while sitting down at a nearby table that was fit for three people. "So we have enough for brunch."

He came over with the plate of waffles and sat them on the table with syrup and butter. The air was filled with silence, the only noises that could be heard was the sound of you and him eating waffles. He looked up at you while you weren't looking at him, and he saw how uncomfortable the silence was making you.

So as soon as he finished his own plate of six waffles, he tapped your hand which was resting on the table. You had just finished your plate and looked up at him. He ushered you to the door and pulled you along with him. He ran down the hallway with your wrist in his hands, "Uh- Jungkook?!"

He looked behind to look at you and put his index finger in front of his lips, still running, "Shh, people are still sleeping." He whispered. You took out your phone and saw the time, "5:12" you sighed.

He took you outside the building and slipped off his shoes, he told you to do the same. He pulled you along the building until you reached the back, where the beach was.

He sat down on the sand and patted the spot next to him, signaling you to sit down. You did, hesitantly, and almost instantly, your body tensed. Images, unknown images, started flooding through your mind.

"Hello?" You looked around the beach, Jungkook was gone and your heart started to race. "Y/n?" A voice called, but you weren't able to see the owner of the voice. "Over here!" The voice came from the right and you squinted. Four people were visible, but they were too far to know who they were.

You started walking towards them, and your heart started to race even more. "Mom, Dad? Jisung! Taehyung!" You ran towards them with no breath to lose. The sand was kicked into the air with every step you took.

"Y/n!" Jisung called excitedly, everyone started to cheer as their arms opened up to you. Tears started to roll down your cheeks faster than you were running, "I thought you guys were gone-"

You ran through them, "h- huh?" You looked behind you. They were still there, they turned around and smiled at you. "I- I just went right through?" You fell on your knees. "No...no!" You put your face in your hands and sobbed.

A hand trailed down your jaw line and below your chin, the hand tilted your face up a bit. You removed your  filled hands away from your face and your eyes widened, "W- who are you?" The boy who was standing in front of you just smiled.

He was unfamiliar, he had pink hair. His hair had waves that made his hair look like cotton candy, you just wanted to run your hands through it. You stood up, the boy's hand was still attached to your jaw line. His smile became even more emotional when he wiped your tears away.

His imperfectly perfect tooth that was in full view made you smile, the thought, "cute" went through your mind. "Eunjae.."

Huh? "Wait- what? That's not my name, you've got the wrong person." You retracted from his hands. He didn't do anything, his smile was still glued onto his face. Your family and Taehyung moved forward so that they were standing behind the cotton candy haired boy.

"Let's go, Jimin."

Jimin? "Stop! Where are you guys going?" The five people in front of you started to walk towards the ocean. They were all about knee high when they started to fade into light sparkles. "Wait!" You started to run after them. When the water reached your waist, you just gave up. "....come back."

"Y/n!" Jungkook's voice came from the shore, he was heading in after you and you started to walk back. Then a fearful look crossed his face, he was looking a little bit above you and you followed his gaze. A big wave was already standing over you and you couldn't even take as much as a breath before you were consumed by it.

You were twisting and twirling, you didn't even know where the ground was anymore. The water slowed down and you found the ground with your feet, you swam upwards taking in a big breath when fresh air slapped your face.

"Over here!" Jungkook's voice rang, you wiped your eyes and looked over to where his voice came from. He was about five feet away when another big wave started to head over to the both of you.

"Quick! Grab my hand!" He reached out his arm so that you could grab on to it. You kicked your feet as fast as you could and reached out to grab his. His grip was firm and as soon as you guys made I contact, the wave crashed down was again.

You didn't know where you were, but the hold of Jungkook's hand never loosened. You could tell he was trying to keep his balance because of the way he would turn a certain direction when the water made the both of you move.

And after a while of struggling to get out of the rough morning water, you two laid on the sand. Out of breath, you two laid there, holding each other's hands. "Why did you swim out there?" He gave you a stern look, "The water isn't as calm as you think it is, holy cow!"

"I saw Taehyung! The rest of my family was there to! They were walking towards the ocean and I didn't want them to go. There was another guy there to, but I forgot his name..." you looked at him apologetically.

"I'm sorry I put you in danger. I didn't know what I was doing.." you looked up at the sky as you heard him sigh.

"It's alright, just try to stay out of anything that can get you killed." He chuckled.

"Shouldn't we be going inside? The sun is starting to rise up even more." You asked, Jungkook only moved closer to you, your hand was still in his. Intertwined...

"Let's stay out here for five more minutes." He replied and he fell asleep because, well, it's freaking 5am in the morning. It didn't take too long before you closed your eyes and buried your face in his neck.

"Or longer.."
