"Last time on June's Pokemon Journey. June and Drago have arrived at Pewter city for June's first gym battle. And for Drago's first Pokemon contest." The narrator said.

*In the Pokemon Center with June and Drago.*

"Alright, I got my first badge just need 7 more to enter the indigo league!" June said happy to see her badge inside her badge case.

"Meowth, " Meowth said ready for the next battle.

"Anyway your contest is next, " June said look at her brother.

"Yes me Dratini, Aerodactyl, and growlithe have been doing some training and we're gonna win the contest, " Drago said with a grin.

"Yeah you gonna rock out there and look great in your outfit, " June said with a smile on her face.

**

Author's POV

"After June winning her first gym badge and meeting some new people. Today was the day of Drago's first Pokemon contest."

"Speaking of which we better get going, " June said.

"Yeah come on, " Drago said heading out the Pokemon center and towards the contest hall.

*They made it all the way to the contest hall.*

"Okay let's go in, " Drago said.

*They go inside and see the people they met at June's gym match arguing with a blonde hair girl.*

"Hey it Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Ash, " June said.

"Yeah, but who the girl Sakura arguing with?" Drago asked.

"From looks of it, I'm going to say it her rival. They way they fight is the same way I and Tayuya fight also the same with you and Arashi." June replied.

"I really hope Arashi, not in this contest. I don't really want to deal with that today."

*June and Drago then walked over to Naruto and the others once the blonde walked away with her Eevee and then two boys walked over to them*

"Hey guys," June said.

"June and Drago your here, " Naruto said with a smile.

"Yeah here to enter the contest of course, " Drago said.

"Who are you exactly?" A lazy looking boy with black hair said.

"Oh, Shikamaru this is June and Drago. We meet them when I went to challenge the gym but June here was already in the middle of battling the gym leader, " Naruto said pointing at June and Drago.

"Yeah that battle was intense but I won of course!" June said showing her badge.

"Cool and also the name is Choji, " A chubby boy with reddish-orange hair said eating chips.

"Meowth, " meowth said appearing on June's shoulder.

"Huh so is that Meowth your starter?" Shikamaru asked.

"Yeah she is and caught two other Pokemon pretty cool right, " June said with a big smile on her face.

"Yeah, I guess, " Choji said still eating.

"See you, sister, I'm going to get changed into my outfit for the contest, " Drago said.

"Alright, I go find me a seat. I see you, later guys, " June said walking away.

"Okay, I should get ready also, " Sakura said going to the dressing room.

"Okay we be in the audience, " Ash said.

"Good luck Sakura, " Naruto said.

"Vulpix, " Vulpix said wishing her luck from Naruto's shoulder.

*The contest has now started and Naruto and the others found a seat next to June. The host Vivian then comes out.*

"Hello everyone welcome to the Pewter city Pokemon contest we have 16 coordinators and only 1 can win the Pewter City ribbon now let's get busy, " Vivian said.

"Now contestant number 1 Ino Yamanaka, " Vivian said.

*Ino runs on stage wearing a purple dress with flowers on it.*

"Now Tentacool take the spotlight, " Ino said sending out Tentacool.

"Tenta, " Tentacool said.

"Woah cool a Tentacool, " Ash said.

"Tentacool huh, " June said taking out her Pokedex.

"Tentacool, the jellyfish Pokémon. It can sometimes be found all dry and shriveled up on a beach. Toss it back into the sea to receive it." Pokedex said.

"Wow so that a Tentacool, " Naruto said.

"Yeah but I wonder how Ino is going to be it, " Ash said.

"Trust me Ino been practicing for weeks she has this in the bag, " Shikamaru said.

"Now Tentacool spin and use bubble beam, " Ino commanded.

"Tentacool, " Tentacool said using bubble beam while spinning.

*The bubble beam began surrounding Tentacool body.*

"Now use poison sting on the bubbles, " Ino commanded.

"Tenta, " Tentacool said using poison sting on the bubble.

*This destroyed the bubbles but created blue sparkles to make Tentacool body look shiny.*

"Wow tentacool use the water to really show off its body," Vivian said.

"Wish awesome, " Naruto said.

"Yeah told you guys she was good an idiot but good, " Shikamaru said.

*In the waiting room.*

"Woah Ino is good let's just hope I can be good too, " Sakura said clutching her fist.

"Not bad but I will do a whole lot better, " Drago thought.

*After a few more contestants it was Sakura turn.*

"Now contestant number 6 Sakura Haruno, " Vivian said.

*Sakura came running out on the stage wearing a sparkly pink dress.*

"Ok oddish your up, " Sakura said releasing Oddish.

"Oddish, " Oddish said.

"Now Oddish spin and use sweet scent, " Sakura commanded.

"Odd, " Oddish said using sweet scent.

Now spin again and use razor leaf, " Sakura commanded.

*The razor leaf fused with the sweet scent spinning around.*

"Amazing Sakura just fused the razor leaf and sweet scent in perfect formation," Vivian said.

"Not done yet oddish razor leaf again, " Sakura commanded.

"Oddish, " Oddish said using razor leaf.

*The razor leaf reflected each other canceling each other and the sweet scent makes it look better.

"And Sakura finishes it with the falling leaves and sweet scent, " Vivian said.

*Back in the waiting room.*

"Not bad Sakura combos we're really good. But I will do even better, " Drago said.

*After that and a couple more contestants Drago is up.*

"And now for our final coordinator Drago Otsutsuki," Vivian said presenting Drago.

"Ok Aerodactyl your up my friend, " Drago said sending out Aerodactyl.

"Aerodactyl, " Aerodactyl said.

"Now Aerodactyl use rock tomb at the sky, " Drago commanded.

"Aero, " Aerodactyl said using rock tomb.

"Now use wing attack to fly through the falling rock," Drago said.

"Aerodactyl," Aerodactyl said using wing attack to f!y through the rocks fast to avoid the falling rocks.

"Now fly back down and use wing attack on the rocks, " Drago commanded.

"Aero, " Aerodactyl said using wing attack on the rocks.

*The wing attack destroyed the rocks causing them to break into small pieces and fall down and  beautifully show off Aerodactyl rocky body.*

"Amazing Drago showed off Aerodactyl power and body so beautifully using the rocks," Vivian said.

"Now that's how it done, " Drago said.

"And now the judges will choose the 8 coordinators that will advance to the next round, " Vivian said.

*Drago, Sakura, and Ino walk into the waiting room and so do the others.*

"Hey Sakura that was awesome your combo move was amazing, " Naruto said.

"Yeah it was gorgeous, " Ash said.

"It was but my brother here was even better nice job showing him off, " June said hugging her brother.

"Yeah great job dude that Aerodactyl is well train, " Naruto said.

"Thanks, " Drago said.

"Well Ino performance was beautiful as her, " Sai said holding Ino hands.

"Why are you flirting with her?" Shikamaru asked.

"Because she is just so beautiful, " Sai said still flirting with her.

*Sakura walks up to Sai and pulls on his ear.*

"Quit it Sai, " Sakura said punching him on the head.

*They look at the screen and see that the 8 coordinators have been chosen.*

*Drago looks at the screen and sees that he made it. Sakura and Ino both look also and see that Ino made it.*

"Yes better luck next time billboard brow, " Ino said.

"I don't think so, " Sakura said pointing at the screen.

*Ino and the others see that Sakura made it too.*

"What you got in, " Ino said surprised by this.

"Yeah Ino pig, " Sakura said messing with Ino.

"Now everyone the next rounds will be Pokemon battles and we'll shuffle the cards to see who's battling who, " Vivian said as the cards shuffle.

*We Drago is batting some random coordinator and Sakura and Ino are doing the same thing.*

"Well guess we're not getting yet you got lucky, " Ino said.

"Yeah right your the one who's lucky, " Sakura said.

*Drago wins his two battles and Ino wins her battle against Sakura in one semi-final. Meaning Drago and  Ino battling each other in the finals.*

"It's time for the final battle!" Vivian said as both coordinators run out on the stage.

"Dratini let's get this show on the road!" Drago said sending out Dratini.

"Dratini, " Dratini said

"Eevee showtime, " Ino said sending out Eevee.

"Now the battle begins, " Vivian said

"Okay Eevee use swift, " Ino commanded.

"Eevee, " Eevee said using swift.

"Dratini use your body to bounce up then use icy wind, " Drago commanded.

"Dra," Dratini said bouncing up and using icy wind.

*The icy wind collided and both Pokemon get hit.*

"What the swift still hits Dratini?" Naruto asked.

"Well, that is the point of swift, " Sai said.

"Yeah, it's a normal type move that never misses no matter what, " Ash said.

"And they lost some points this is gonna be a tough match, " Shikamaru said.

"It made seem that way but my brother has this in the bag, " June said.

"You have a lot of faith in him, " Sakura said joining the others.

"I do because he amazing you see. Also too bad you didn't go to the finals, " June replied.

Sakura just shrugged.

"Now Eevee shadow ball go, " Ino commanded.

*Drago didn't command Dratini to do anything.*

"What why he just standing there?" Naruto asked.

"Oh he had a plan just wait and see, " June said.

"Dratini protect, " Drago commanded.

"Dratini, " Dratini said using protect.

*The protect keeps shadow ball from hitting it.*

"Amazing protect really made Dratini body shiny. And stop the shadow body from doing damage. That going to cost Ino some points, " Vivian said.

"Now Eevee uses quick attack, " Ino said.

"Eevee, " Eevee said using quick attack.

"Now takedown, " Ino said.

"Eevee, " Eevee said using takedown.

*Eevee hits Dratini which makes Drago lose more points*

"Dratini are you okay?" Drago asked.

"Dratini, " Dratini said nodding yes.

"Come brother you're doing great!" June yelled.

"She right I can do this, " Drago thought coming up with a plan.

"That girl is just as annoying as Naruto now Eevee use takedown to end this, " Ino said declaring an attack.

"Eve, " Eevee said using takedown.

"Dratini use thunder wave, " Drago commanded.

*The thunder hit Eevee and stopped it in its tracks paralyze. Causing Ino to lose points.*

"No way, " Ino said surprised by his thinking she already won.

"Now spin fast and use twister, " Drago said declaring an attack.

"Dratini, " Dratini said using twister.

"Wow, amazing Drago had Dratini create a more powerful twister then normal by using its speed to create extra wind. That will cost a lot of points for Ino, " Vivian said as Ino lost points.

*The twister hit Eevee and spun it around like crazy.*

"Eevee comes on and get up, " Ino said.

*Ino was too dizzy to stand so it fell back down and fainted.*

"And that's it Eevee is unable to battle Dratini wins which means the winner of the Pewter City Pokemon contest is Drago Otsutsuki, " Vivian said presenting Drago as the winner.

"I won awesome Dratini, " Drago said putting Dratini around his neck.

"Eevee I'm proud of how well you battle, " Ino said returning Eevee to its Pokeball.

"Huh that guy Drago is strong he trained his Pokemon well, " Ino said walking away.

"Oh yeah, I knew he would win!!" June yelled.

"Meowth," Meowth said agreeing with June.

"Yeah that was awesome that Dratini is amazing, " Naruto said.

"Of course that his starter after all, " June replied.

"Really Dratini is his starter?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, " June replied.

"That was surprising I didn't think that Dratini could be so strong, " Choji said.

"Yeah, we better go and see Ino, " Shikamaru said walking over to Ino.

"Right, " Choji said walking over to Ino also.

"And now Drago I present you with this Pewter ribbon, " Vivian said giving Drago the ribbon.

"Thank you so much, " Drago said taking the ribbon.

"The Pewter ribbon, and its all mine, " Drago said holding it in the air with a grin.

"Aerodactyl, " Aerodactyl said in excitement.

"Dratini, " Dratini said also in excitement.

*Everyone walks outside of the Pokemon contest hall.*

"Brother that was awesome you got your first ribbon and I got my first badge. Father going to be so proud, " June said.

"I admit you weren't bad Drago but next time we meet I win best you, " Ino said.

"Oh really looking forward to seeing how much you improve, " Drago said offering his hand.

*Ino and Drago then shake hands.*

"Well bye, " Ino said walking away with Shikamaru and Choiji.

"Well, we should get going sis the next gym is in Cerulean city. I still need to figure out my next contest," Drago said.

"Alright coming bye guys, " June said walking away with her brother.

"Hey wait!" Naruto yelled.

*June and Drago both then stop walking and turned around.*

"Yeah Naruto?" June asked.

"Why don't you come and travel with us?" Naruto asked.

June looks at Naruto in shock at his suggestion. June never really thought of traveling with anyone other than her brother and Pokemon. Yet at the same time, however, it sounds like it could be fun. Plus she really did enjoy Naruto company. She looked at Drago for his opinion.

"We come but we will need to make extra stops for me and Sakura to both win contest ribbons, " Drago said.

"He right if they both want to enter the grand festival they both need to earn ribbons. So if Sakura beats Drago and wins the contest no ribbon for him. And vice verse. Say one gets all their last ribbon and the other doesn't then we need to find another contest to get the ribbon, " Sai explained.

"That fine we can make more stops so they can get there ribbons!" Naruto said.

"Then off we go, " Ash said.

*They head out to Cerulean city.*

"And so Drago's first Pokemon contest ends in victory with him gaining the Pewter ribbon. And decide to travel with Naruto and the others. What will be in store for them as the journey continues?"

"The journey continues!"
