"Last time Drago's first Pokemon contest ends in victory with him gaining the Pewter ribbon. And decide to travel with Naruto and the others to Cerulean city," The narrator said.

"Right now our heroes we're taking a nice refreshing break to eat lunch."

"Hey June, " Naruto said eating his ramen.

'Does that guy eat only ramen? That all he been eating since we started traveling together a few days ago,' Drago thought while eating the soup he and his sister June made for everyone except Naruto since he chose to eat ramen instead.

"Yes, Naruto?" June asked.

"After lunch, we should have a battle against each other!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Vulpix, " Vulpix said agreeing with Naruto looking up from the Pokemon food June made. The Pokemon so far really seem to love June cooking.

"Sure sounds fun to me," June said eating more of her soup.

Once everyone was finished eating. June and Naruto got in battle position.

"Okay this will be a three on three Pokemon battle substitution are allowed," Drago said. "I will be the referee of this match."

June and Naruto both nodded and sent out their Pokemon.

"I choose you Rattata," June said sending out rattata.

"I choose you Horsea!" Naruto said sending out Horsea.

"A Horsea," June said taking out her Pokedex and pointing it Horsea.

"Horsea, the Dragon Pokemon. Horsea makes it's home in oceans with gentle currents. If this Pokemon is under attack, it spits out pitch-black ink and escapes." The Pokedex said.

"Alright let the battle begin. Now that both trainers sent out their first Pokemon," Drago said starting the match.

"Rattatta use quick attack," June ordered.

"Rattatta," rattatta said using quick attack.

*The quick attack hits Horsea and does some damage*

"Horsea use water gun!" Naruto commanded.

"Horse, Horsea," Horsea said using water gun.

*The water gun attack hits ratatta*

"Ratatta let's show this Horsea who the boss. Now ratatta use shadow ball!" June ordered.

"Rata, ratatta," Ratatta said using Shadow ball.

"Horsea use Ice Beam to counter that Shadow ball," Naruto commanded.

"Horsea," Horsea said using Ice beam.

*The Shadow ball and Ice beam both collided, causing an explosion both Pokemon were sent flying back.*

"Ratatta are you go?" June asked.

"Rata, ratatta," Ratatta said getting back up.

"Good then let's continue this battle," June said.

"What about you Horsea? Are okay to keep battling?" Naruto asked.

"Horsea," Horsea said also getting back up.

"Okay then let's show that Ratatta who the best! Naruto exclaimed.

"Ratatta use tackle!" June commanded.

"Rata, ratatta," ratatta said using tackle.

*ratatta use tackle and cause more damage to Horsea*

"Horsea uses Water gun!" Naruto commanded.

"Hosea," Horsea said using water gun.

*The water gun hit Ratatta and both Pokemon pass out from exhaustion.*

"Both Ratatta and Horsea are unable to battle," Drago called out.

"Nice job Rattatta return," June said returning Ratatta.

"You did great also Horsea!" Naruto exclaimed picking up Horsea and hugging her. "Now get some rest," he said returning her back to her Pokeball.

"Now it's your turn Ekans," June said sending out her shiny Ekans.

"I noticed that June Ekans is a different color than usual," Sai said drawing a picture in his sketchbook.

"Yeah that because it is a shiny," Drago replied.

"I choose you Spearow!" Naruto shouted sending out a Spearow.

"A Spearow now this might be a challenge," June said looking at Ekans then back at Spearow.

"Sparow use peck!" Naruto ordered.

"Sparow," Spearow said using peck.

"Ekans stop it using wrap!" June commanded.

*Sparow flew towards Ekans using peck, but Ekans caught it using wrap.*

"Sparow use peck to break free from Ekans hold!" Naruto ordered.

"Spearow," Spearow said using peck.

*Spearow use peck on Ekans face causing it to cry in pain and release its hold on Spearow.*

"Okay, Ekan use Poison sting," June commanded.

"Ekans," Ekans said using Poison sting.

*The poison sting hits Spearow causing it to get poisoned*

"Spearow," Spearow said as the poison took effect.

"Hang in there Spearow you can do it," Naruto said.

"Ekans use headbutt!" June shouted.

"Spearow use headbutt also!" Naruto shouted.

"Eka," Ekans said using headbutt.

"Spear," Spearow said using headbutt.

*Both headbutt attacks collided with each other sending them both back. Spearows try to get back up but failed. Making Ekans the winner.*

"Spearow is unable to battle. Which means Ekans wins the battle," Drago called out.

"Wow June a great trainer," Sakura said expressed with June battling skills.

"Yeah, she has been training to become a Pokemon trainer since we were three. She loved having Pokemon battle against our father all the time using his Pokemon," Drago replied.

"I choose you Vulpix," Naruto said.

"Vulpix," Vulpix said walking from the spot he was laying right next to Naruto bag.

"Can you keep battling Ekans?" June asked.

"Ekans," Ekans said nodding.

"Okay then let's use dig!" June commanded.

"Ekans," Ekans said using dig.

*Ekans quickly went underground.*

"Vulpix try to figure out when it will come back up and then use flamethrower!" Naruto commanded.

*When Ekans came up Vulpix used flamethrower on Ekans. Ekans try to get up but was too exhausted.*

"Ekans is unable to battle," Drago called out. "Now both trains are down to just one Pokemon."

"Alright, Meowth it's your turn!" June commanded.

"Meowth," Meowth said walking to stand in front of June ready to fight.

"Meowth use fake- out!" June commanded.

"Meow," Meowth said using fake-out.

*The fake-out bit Vulpix causes it to flinch.*

"Vulpix flamethrower!" Naruto ordered.

"Meowth dodge then use slash!" June commanded.

"Vul," Vulpix said using flamethrower.

*Meowth dodged the attack and then hit Vulpix with slash.*

"Good job Meowth," June said.

"It's not over yet," Naruto said. "Vulpix use flamethrower again!"

"Meowth use water pluse to counter!" June commanded.

"Vulpix," Vulpix said using flamethrower.

"Meowth," Meowth said using water pluse.

*The attacks collided with each other causing the area to feel up with fog.*

"It's so foggy. I wonder who attack was stronger," Ash said.

"We find out soon the fog starting to clear," Drago said.

*The fog cleared and Vulpix was unable to battle.*

"Vulpix is unable to battle. Meowth wins meaning the victory goes to June!" Drago said.

"Not bad June. Your Pokemon very well trained," Naruto said.

"Thanks, Naruto," June said shaking Naruto hand.

"It has been a long day with traveling and this battle. We should set up camp and rest for the night. We continue to make our to Cerulean City tomorrow," Drago said.

"That sounds good we have to go through Mt. Moon right to get to Cerulean city right?" June asked.

"Correct," Drago replied.

After eating dinner everyone got ready for bed. Except for June who was looking for her pills to keep her nightmares. She noticed Naruto looking at her and stopped digging in her bag.

'I get it later. I really don't Naruto and they know about my nightmares. They probably laugh at me for still having nightmares.' June thought zipping up her bag pockets.

"And so June and Naruto have a battle against each other. With June being the victor of the battle," Narrator said. "Find out what happens next as the journey continues."
