Shadows of figures danced on the walls, light footing down the hall. Their quiet mumbles turned into loud burst of fire-laced words. Threads of coherent swears swirled in the room, stuffing up the area with negativity and malice.

Sirius Black was the type of man to argue until he made his point clear, whether it be right or wrong. He would go to the ends of the worlds to throw his idea across. He needed to be heard, to be understood.

Remus Lupin is a very condescending man, but there are some cases where he needs to take action instead of pondering over feelings. He would need to do something snappy to make sure he is listened to.

In most cases, these two cases make a unique couple, each of them being the final piece to the other's puzzle. It simply just made sense when they were together.

The worn down house of number 12 Grimmauld Place shivered as the yells of frustration bounced off the walls of the kitchen.

"I can't believe you did it," He anxiously ran his hand through his shoulder-length hair. "Y-you actually did it."

"What did you want me to do?" Remus snapped back, turning to the former prisoner, to his former lover. "My wife gave birth to my child, is that really so bad?"

"Yes, Remus! You just had a baby with a woman you don't lov—" The mentioned man tensed up in fury.

"If I don't love her, then who do I love, huh? Tell me, Sirius, tell me!" His voice sawed through strings connected by their friendship.

"Me." The defeated sound of his voice hung dangerously at the last tug of desperation. "You love me, Remus, and you know it. We could've had something together."

His words enchanted the werewolf, almost convincing him before he snapped out of it.

"Sirius, you were in Azkaban!"

"Couldn't you have waited?"

"I did my waiting! Thirteen years of it!" His voice cracked, his mentality to the point of breaking.

"It's over, Sirius. Can't you just accept that?" He turned to the door, about to exit when the escapist said something.

"You're making a mistake, Moony, starting a family with her."

Remus laughed dryly, looking up to the ceiling.

"And I s'pose you know so much about families, don't you, Padfoot?"
