***Madelyn's POV

"WE NEED TO SAVE THOSE PEOPLE AND AS SOON AS POSDIBLE!" I yell and get off the floor. There are other jumpers out there! I'm not alone in this world! We need to go find them and save them. Sure, I was still unbelievably sad about my family being gone, but this was a thousand times better than being alone in the world with Derek. I kinda liked him before, but when you're the last two people in the world and are fighting off zombies to live, there's not much time for romance.
I wondered how many jumpers had actually made it. How many people were actually alive.  Would we be able to repopulate the earth?  Or, more importantly, keep nationals going?  It was weird that the jump ropes were the only ones who lived.

I must have fallen asleep because when I wake up we are in space.  It must be because I'm injured.  Luckily, it is now Saturday and all the zombies are asleep, so it is easy to sneak into their base.
We land on a platform attached to a large building and walk inside. Derek carries me, which is awkward but convenient because I can't really walk. Surprisingly enough, he wasn't injured at all by the zombies.
The twelve of us walk down a long hallway, and after what seems like eternity, we arrive at a door with a button next.
Mary pushes the button without a moments hesitation. The huge doors open, and inside are little rooms packed with jump ropers. The walls are glass and we can see into the rooms.  It looked like there were about 500 people, none of them over age 18.
"Ok, we need a plan to save these people," Gabi said, taking charge as usual. She's so organized. "Meredith and I will go over to the back. Mary and Delilah have the right, Julianna and Jessica will take the left, Ruby Zack  and Sammy take the center, and Jen and Melody take the front.  Derek, take care of Madelyn."
I sit up.  "No, I'm helping.  I'm sure I can walk.  I'm saving these people.  Jen and Melody, you guys help with the center because it's really big, and me and Derek can take the front."
"Are you sure?" Meredith asks, "You don't look so good.  You got really hurt."
"I wanna help.  I'm not gonna sit in the corner while these jump ropers's lives are in danger.  Someone help me stand."  Derek pulls me up. 
"How are we gonna get them out of the rooms?" Delilah asks.
Gabi pulls a bag out of her pocket that have keys literally labelled FRONT BACK CENTER RIGHT LEFT.  Wow zombies must be dumb.  They made  it really easy for us to break in.

Derek and I head to the front room with the key in hand.  He unlocks the door and we walk inside.
There were so many people that we can't help them all get out at once.  Derek and I split up and start directing people to the doorway. 
"Over here people!" I yell, pointing towards the exit. "Single file line please, take turns.  We're busting all of you out of here."
I've helped about 30 people get out when I see a familiar flash of dirty blonde hair.
"KYLIE!!!" I yell and run towards her.
"OH MY GOSH I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!!!"
She squeezes me super hard.
"Careful I think I cracked a couple ribs," I said.
"Oh my gosh what happened?" she asked.
"I'll tell you later.  Right now help me get these people to the exit.  It's over there."
"Ok," she replies.

We're almost done getting the people out when I start feeling sick.  Not like sick sick, but my ribs hurt, and I feel a little dizzy.  I suddenly fall on the floor.
"Let me help you up," a voice says and I look up to see a really cute boy.
"Thanks," I say once I am standing again.  "Can you help me get all the people out of here.  Then we can talk."

Once all of the people are out of the room we start walking throw the hallway and I ask him, "So what's your name?"
"I'm Colton.  I'm from ProForm Airborne.  What's your name?"
"I'm Madelyn.  I'm from the Coronado Speed Spinners."
"How old are you?" he asks.
"I'm 12," I reply.
"I'm 14," he says.
"By the way, you're hair is really cool," I say.
"Thanks," he says and strokes his hair.  We both start laughing.

When we get back to the front, I find Kylie and say, "Kylie, you can have Derek if you still like him.  I found myself a jump rope boyfriend."
