I Miss You

Jaehee woke up in her bed.. or it was her bed at Jumin's house. She had yet another dream about him after their break up. The raven hair and black eyes haunted her dreams even if those eyes were always filled with love and adoration. He was her first real relationship to where she could finally say she was actually in love until it fell apart. She wasn't sure why Jumin suddenly cut it off, it was obvious he still loved her and yet he broke it off.

---------

While waiting for Jumin at the airport, what she's to do as his assistant, she couldn't help but remember the first time they met. She had come off a train in search for her new boss and surprised when a man approached her. "You're Miss. Kang, correct?"

"Yes,"

"I am Mr. Han, it's a pleasure to finally meet you,"

---------

The snow fell quickly as her uniform gave her no means of protection. She rolled her eyes as her cheeks turned red from the cold. "Assistant Kang, are you okay?"

"Yes," She answered. She couldn't make eye contact with him as another memory from their previous relationship had arose.

A snowman was being built by both Jaehee and her boyfriend before Jumin stopped to stare at her as she put on the top hat. He smiled at her until she looked at him, confused. "What is it?"

"I love you," Those three words hadn't been spoken yet between them. Sure, they were dating but those words were sacred but he still spoke them to her. Her heart swelled in her chest as a smile appeared and tears of happiness welled in her eyes.

"I love you too," She responded.

She glared at the sidewalk underneath her as they both made their way into the C&R building. She was more angry at herself for reminding herself she was no longer his girlfriend.

--------

Taking a trip back to Manchester in the UK was not the best idea. Jaehee cursed the partner that made them take another trip there as she and him made their way past the Manchestsr Eye. Her mind made her repeat another painful event in her and Jumin's life.

Jumin paid for her to experience the ride of the Manchester Eye. "It will be fun, I loved it when I first rode on it," She looked up at it. It was rather tall but she wasn't going to back out just because of heights.

"Okay but it better be good," He kissed her on the cheek before letting her go in first. Her breath was taken away as she got higher and higher up. Even if she was a bit afraid of heights, the view was absolutely beautiful. "Aw, this is nice," She muttered to herself before kissing Jumin on his lips for the first time. He stared at her for a moment before beaming with a blush and kissed her back.

"I love you so much," The words still made her heart swell. She remembered her mother saying to her that if she still felt that then she found her soulmate, obviously her mother was incorrect.

----------

Jaehee was awake at the middle of the night because she could still hear Jumin pacing in his own room, a thin wall just between the two of them. She sat on her knees as she pressed her forehead to the wall. She wanted to comfort him, she wanted to help with whatever was keeping him up and making him pace but the last time she did that, he had told her that she was the last person that could help him in that moment. She assumed she had done something wrong but she wasn't sure what she could've done. Maybe... He misses her as well? She felt bad for thinking that but maybe.

-------

Jaehee rested her head on Jumin's shoulder and intertwined their fingers together as they looked at the fireworks at the Christmas party that Seven had set. He pulled her hand up to his lips to kiss it to which she had smiled and snuggled into his shoulder a bit more. Regrettably, it was one of the best dreams Jumin has had. Unfortunately, his father had forced him to break it off because he already had an arranged fiancé. He didn't know about her until his father brought her up. Mr. Chairman had said "You may have your fun but when the time comes, responsibility has to be taken," Jumin remembered those words each and every time he fell in love with Jaehee again and again.

------

Jaehee obviously would not let it go that easily. Seeing as she was currently on stage with his father and fiancé watching her sing this song to him. He wanted to cry at how she reminded him of every moment and how the events of the past week and a half played out. Of course he remembered, of course it's still on his mind and of course he still loved her. Silent tears fell as Jaehee sang to him of everything, spilling almost every moment of their relationship to all media and even his arranged fiancé who was shooting both of them a dirty look. "Jumin," She said, void of emotion.

"What?"

"Do something,"

"I wanna hear. I know she's beautiful but she rarely sings and when she does, it's like she's a goddess," He rested his head in his hands fondly and smiled at her. "After all, that's my baby," He said. The woman glared at Jumin's father as if he could control what Jumin said. He loved her, he really did. Jaehee had always been the love of his life but he still ended things because of his father. It wasn't fair to either of them but he still did it.

"Jumin, I think it'd be best to fire her," His father said and Jumin looked at him, his eyes dull. He almost looked as if he'd kill his own father if he spoke another bad word about the woman on the stage.

"I can't do that, she's my wife," Jumin said, already claiming Jaehee as something she wasn't. He wasn't going to let her go, not anymore.

I heard this song from years ago and honestly I thought of these two instead of Dan and Phil, who the song is actually supposed to be about.
