He Hurt You
"Did you remember what I told you? Innocence is like snow," Jeaki said with his head down, casting a shadow across his face in the dark alley way. His 'friend' jumped as he suddenly heard a voice and turned to see Jeaki.
"Hey..." He stared at the 20 year old in front of him. He's never seen Jeaki like this, Jeaki was always happy. How did he become so scary?
"Innocence of a child is like white snow. Areum was much more like white snow than anyone. Kind and innocent,"
"Hey, man, take it easy," Jeaki walked closer to him, reaching for a knife behind his back that was tucked into his shirt.
"Hey, what are you doing? That's not funny... Hey! Stop it! Get away from me!"
"That's probably what my sister said before you did such a disgusting thing to her. Don't say any excuses, she's 14 and you knew that,"
"I'm sorry!" He panicked as Jeaki picked up his pace.
"I might bore you, I'm rather slow but don't worry, we are men so I'm confident I'm much tougher than Areum. I'll be playing with you for a long long time,"
"Stop! Get away from me! You're insane!" He shrieked, an echoing scream replacing the silence of the night.
-----------
"Jeaki..." Areum's breathy voice called to him. He looked up as she did, blood still covered him from head to toe. She looked terrified and it broke his heart that she was afraid of him, even for the time being. He gave her a smile to try to tell her that it's okay.
"Areum," He said in a form of a greeting. She covered her mouth with her hand and looked him up and down.
"W-whos blood is that?" He didn't want to answer.
"He deserved it. He hurt you," She gasped as realization hit her of who Jeaki killed.
"Nobody deserves to die, Jeaki!"
"He did. Prison isn't cruel enough," Jeaki smiled a satisfied smile as he thought of how his old friend looked beneath him, blood everywhere and chocking out plea after plea. He enjoyed the chase he had to do as he tried to run away but Jeaki caught him, the adrenaline that adorned such an act was almost addicting to him. He didn't mind having his blood on his hands, literally and figuratively.
"Should I tell mom and dad?" That was a question he didn't know the answer to. On one hand, mom and dad really loved him and said they would protect him from anything and besides, it'd ruin the image of C&R. On the other hand, this was murder, something that's illegal and probably something that they would not cover up but he wasn't sure.
"No, just let me wash up,"
"I'll help!"
"No! You stay there!" Jeaki said. He didn't want her to help him wash off his sins. He didn't want her to see all the evidence that could link him to a crime and he most certainly didn't want her to touch the murder weapon, even accidently.
----------------------
Jeaki folded his arms as he rested his head on the table. "Jeaki, what's wrong?" Jaehee asked as she rubbed his back, concern for her child's well being. Areum and Jumin looked at him in worry too, even if his sister knew what happened. Jeaki did come home late so he was really tired but he didn't have an ounce of regret, like his sister probably thought.
"I'm really tired, I stayed up really late last night,"
"You shouldn't do that," Jumin said, taking a drink from his cup. "It's not healthy. Did you find something to get to sleep eventually?"
"No,"
"Hm. Tell me if it happens again and I'll see if I can get someone to help you sleep,"
"Okay, thank you, dad,"
-------------
"Please don't hurt anyone else," Areum put a hand on his shoulder once they were alone again. Areum was a bit scared but not too much to avoid being alone with him. "I know you love me but don't hurt anyone because of it,"
"If someone harms you again then they'll meet the same fate," He said with a smile as he walked away. Areum looked down to the ground and thought for a moment. How could she possibly stop her brother?
A/N: Had this thought of if someone would hurt Areum really badly then Jeaki would hurt them to almost the equivalent or what he thought was the equivalent/what they deserved. Goodbye!
