A small blush covered Jumin's cheeks as the girl in front of him known as MC stood in front of him, a nervous train wreck because she had just did one thing. Confess her love for him. He was starting to feel guilty, he had no attraction to her. Of course, she was a good friend and she was really nice but he didn't feel a romantic attraction. It just wasn't there. They were standing on the sides of the RFA party and he knows that he's taking too long to answer. He clears his throat and laughs nervously while rubbing the back of his neck. How do you reject someone without hurting their feelings?

"I am sorry, MC, but I cannot accept your feelings,"

"What?" MC said, tears welling in her eyes. "Why?"

"Because... because I have no romantic feelings for you. It would mean and cruel to start a relationship where the love is unrequited. Besides, I have enough women in my life,"

"Are you a..."

"What? No! That came out wrong! I only have two women in my life. Elisabeth the Third and Jaehee,"

"Jaehee...?"

"Yes, Jaehee. She is my assistant so of course she is a huge part of my life and she is almost always beside me. I count that as enough of a relationship to not need another woman by my side. And then Elisabeth is always my number one priority. I love her to the stars and back and having another woman would only make me divide my attentions even more from her," Jumin finished. MC looked down at the ground, clearly heartbroken. She kept her composure and refused to cry over something so stupid. She closed her eyes and took calming breaths. Jumin put a comforting hand on her shoulder and she let him, still liking his presence. There was no reason to hate him for not liking her back.

"I understand. You do not have feelings for me and besides, Jaehee and Elly are the only ones you need,"

"I guess you've summed it up," Jumin gave a lighthearted chuckle and MC let a sad smile take her face.

"I guess I am no match for them. I have to admit though, I am jealous of Jaehee, she gets your attention and shes a human. She has an easier chance of being your girlfriend than Elly does," MC chuckled. Tears still fell from her earlier emotions but her heart didn't feel as heavy. At least she let him know.
