First date

Jumin didn't know wether it was her persuasiveness or it was his weakness to her but either way, he was dragged to one of Zen's shows for a first date with Jaehee. He would've laughed at the obvious choice she had picked for a date if it weren't for the most annoying person being the primary source for her happiness. He went along anyways because 1) it made Jaehee's eyes light up and he could practically see the joy radiate from her and 2) this is her preferred date spot.

Jumin didn't know what the show was really about, hell, he didn't pay attention. He just paid attention to Jaehee. He loved seeing her reactions. The way her eyes crinkled at the sides when something happy or funny happened. The way she bit on the knuckle of her index finger if something suspenseful was happening and she was trying to figure out what will happen. The way her breath hitched when something sad happened. He'd never tell her this, but she was truly captivating, a masterpiece. Besides Elisabeth the Third, of course. He smiled despite himself. Whenever Jaehee looked back at him, he tried his best not to get caught staring, whether it be by turning his head to look at the show or to move his eyes to pretend to be looking at something behind her. He'd die if she ever found out he was looking at her because she was hypnotic to him.

When the show ended, Jaehee and Jumin walked closer to the stage to see if Zen would catch a glimpse of them and invite them on or backstage. Zen's red eyes caught Jaehee's brown at first and a smile made it's way on his face. "Hello, Jaehee!" He then looked beside her to see Jumin and his smile only faltered a bit. "Hello, Jumin,"

"Hello, Zen,"

"Hello, Zen, you did such a great job, I was captured by your acting and I could hardly look away," Jaehee said. Jumin could relate.

"Thank you, Jaehee! Do you want to come backstage to talk? I'll invite you,"

"Sure!" Jaehee and Jumin made their way backstage and was met with Zen.

"So, I'm not meaning to be rude, but why is Mr. Trust fund here?" Zen said in an almost playful tone.

"Ha ha," Jumin said sarcastically.

"We're on a date, I wanted to go to one of your shows,"

"Woah, a date with Jumin? Thought I'd never see this, was hoping too. I guess that's too late now, I hope you have a good date and Jumin, please respect the lady," Zen said and Jumin gave him a scowl.

"I have no intentions not to respect her,"

"Then there's no problem," Zen said with a smile.

"Anyways, it was nice talking to you, Zen. Jumin, do you want to go somewhere else?"

"Wow, hearing you call him Jumin sounds so foreign,"

"I know, it feels foreign on my tongue too," Jaehee said, pointing to her tongue with a smile. Zen brought out a playful side of her, he sees.

"I was thinking maybe some dinner? We could go anywhere you'd like," Jumin said as Jaehee furrowed her eyebrows and rested her index finger on her chin in thought. Zen started to walk away, beginning to feel like a third wheel and they both waved bye to him as he said goodbye.

"I'd like to go home to eat," Jaehee said. Of course, the comfort of one's home is always good. Jaehee seemed to like going on comfortable dates so it wasn't a shock when she said it. Jumin smiled as he nodded taking her hand and bringing her to the next date location.
