Dancing

"Dance with me?" Jumin asked. Jaehee stopped rechecking the guest sheet on her clipboard to see for the bliilonth time if she got everybody through the doors and eyed him curiously.

"Mr. Han, I can't dance," She continued her scribbling on the paper and Jumin sighed. Jaehee was a very bright woman but could not see where he was heading with this question.

"Jaehee, dance with me," She stared at him longer this time. Worry came over her features at the mention of her first name.

"Why the first name?"

"Why are you refusing?" Jumin shot back. She adjusted her glasses and looked around for any new arrivals to distract her, even if she knew everyone was there. Nobody showed up to save her though. She sighed before looking back at him.

"Well, don't you think it'd be weird to dance with me? Think about if you were asking Zen or something. It'd be weird, right?"

"I can dance with you, friends can dance together," Jumin said. She wasn't aware he had thought of her as a friend but nodded anyways.

"I suppose so," He gestured his hand to her, silently asking her to take it. She did and was surprised when he kissed it. He peeked up at her to see a blush had arose and a face he could only describe as having mixed feelings showed on her face. He smiled at her before dragging her to the dance floor at the RFA party. Jaehee was nervous because she didn't realize just how many of the organizations they invited knew them both and would be judging Jumin hard for this. He pulled her by her waist to turn her. She faced him straight on and she could curse this being a fancy party and that there was a lot of slow songs. "Mr. Han, they're going to say something," Jaehee said. In all honesty, many of C&R's partners really judge the chairman for his past relationships with employees, they just don't say anything to his face. Jumin had the same view; Date a person for them and not thier position but he did not share the same woman hopping perspective as his father had.

"Okay. I just want to dance with you tonight," He smiled at her. "I can do that, right?" He asked. He'd already done so once but he asked again. He took her hand in his as she nodded and the music started. She positioned her other hand on his shoulder and he rested his on her waist, causing her to jump a little at the unfamiliar feeling. He laughed a bit. "Is this okay?"

"Yes, I'm sorry," Jaehee said. He laughed again.

"No need. It was cute," He whispered the last words and Jaehee's face flushed. She hasn't been called cute many times in her life and she certainly never expected him to do so. Before she knew it, he was pulling her along to the music, forcing her to follow his lead. She never was taught properly but she knew one rule was to not step on thier shoes which she only did once. Twice. Okay, three times but that was it. "Is my assistant lacking in areas?"

"No!" She said quickly.

"I guess I have no choice but to teach you after the party," Was he flirting with her? Has he been this whole time? Jaehee disregarded the thoughts and only put them as her over thinking things. He was professional, he would not want her of all people. This was just a dance and he's only worried about his assistant lacking in something. Admittedly, it is an area that she probably doesn't really need to know how to do anything in but, nevertheless, she was lacking.

"When? I mean, I'm not eager or anything but when would we even get the time to dance together?" She stumbled over her words, trying to choose them carefully. This felt different. Everything about this situation felt different but she tried to ignore it. She was to stay out of his love life and he was to stay out of hers. That's how it's always been so why should it change now? The song was over and Jumin stopped his dancing, causing Jaehee to stop as well.

"That was fun. By the way, you look stunning tonight," Jumin said to her. She had a hard time breathing after that. It wasn't like she never got compliments like that before but compliments from her boss wasn't exactly common. Jumin was the one who bought her what she was wearing tonight. He should like it, right? Or did he like it just on her? She stopped before she thought any further. There was no point since Jumin would never say anything about his feelings.

"Thank you," She said, not realizing that Jumin was already on stage and wait, did he just say her name?

A/N: I've been wanting to write a chapter on them dancing for a while but I could never figure out how to construct it but here you go now.
