Julie's embrace was warm compared to the guys who could no longer give of heat and yet, She had felt the warmest she had ever been since the passing of her mother, The world around her seemed to slowly fade as she clung on tight, never wanting the moment to end.

Tears collected on her eyelashes and her face was stained from all of the crying, though, she didn't care much because all that mattered was that she didn't have to say goodbye to her friends.

"What happens next?" Reggie asked in a soft voice, pulling away from his band mates to wipe away his tears with the bottom of his sleeve

"I don't know, but whatever happens" Julie said equally as gentle, taking both Alex and Reggie's hand in hers while looking at Luke in adoration "we do it together"

2 days later...

The sun peered through the cracks in the blinds and directly into Julie's eyes, she rubbed at them and yawned, sitting promptly against her bed frame. When She switched her phone on to realise she had over slept, she jumped out of bed in panic and rushed all the way down stairs.

"Morning, Mija" her father greeted once he saw his daughter drag herself down the stairs and into the kitchen for some breakfast

"I over slept" Julie groaned in a rushed manner taking a piece of toast off her brother's plate then scurrying back upstairs with it dangling from her mouth.

After getting dressed and brushing her teeth she made her way back downstairs, her backpack flung over her shoulder with ten minutes to spare, She drew out her phone to call her best friend, Flynn who immediately picked up

"I overslept but I'm gonna make it perfectly on time" Julie reassures Flynn and herself

"Let me guess" Flynn sighed "you and luke were up all night writing songs together"

"Well yes- but it's more than that. I can touch the guys now, Flynn, this changes everything" she smiled to herself as Flynn sighed for a second time

"I know your exited but be careful, ok? I don't want you to hurt like that again" Flynn answered after a long pause, Julie knew she was just trying to protect her, after her mom died Flynn was extra protective which Julie appreciated a lot but she wished she would dial it down a notch.

"I will but I should really get going, see you in a few" She Hung up before any sign of protest came from Flynn's mouth

Julie made her way over to her front door, getting ready to go to school and when she opened it she was surprised to see nick on her doorstep, his back turned against her and a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

When he heard the sound of the door opening, he shot around, flashing her a smile; she felt a strange and uneasy sensation shoot through her body but despite her efforts to ignore it, she couldn't shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach telling her something was wrong.

"Hi! Nick!" Julie exclaimed with a large amount of enthusiasm which she now released that she may have been over the top and rather suspicious

He slowly walked over and handed the bouquet over to Julie who relaxed a bit at the sudden touch and decided she was just being superstitious "thanks"

"Do you want to walk to school together?" Asked nick as he placed his hands in his front pocket, Julie nodded and told him she'd be right back after she put the flowers in a vase.

Once inside, Julie filled one of the numerous vases that her tía had given her on random occasions with water, placed the flowers in and set it on the windowsill to admire her work. When she finished she turned around to see Luke propped up on her kitchen counter giving her a frightful scare

"I thought I told you to stop doing that" Julie recalled placing her hand over her heart.

"Sorry" he apologised, taking a quick glance at flowers Julie had just received "are those from that rick guy?"

"His name is nick" Julie tried to suppress a smile at Luke's name mix up, she got the strange impression that he didn't like nick very much, though she didn't know why

"My mistake" he said half-heartedly with the slight bitterness in his tone though Julie didn't seem notice, she was too busy checking her phone for the time and peering over at nick who stood patiently on the porch

"Is there something you wanted?" She asked taking a step towards the ghost as he fidgeted with a piece of folded paper in his hands

"Oh! Yeah, your homework was in the studio... thought you'd need it" Luke said passing over the piece of paper to the girl, chewing on the corner of his lip which Julie had come to notice he does a lot, she presumed it's when he's deep in thought.

She took the corner of the paper of which he still clung to, to be honest he didn't even noticed he was doing so and she hadn't pulled it off him, they just seemed to be staring at each other for a while without noticing their surroundings.

"Julie, is everything alright?"

That was when she was snapped out of her gaze by nick calling for her and shortly after Luke let go of the piece of paper, motioning his head towards the door for her to go to school. She obliged by giving him a small wave goodbye and then walked out the house to join nick outside.

The route to her school was a short one. Julie had mixed emotions about nick on their walk, at one point he was really chatty and was acting his usual self and then the other part when he was being completely out of character. She didn't want to pry into nick's business so she left it at that, maybe something was going on at home? Or maybe with Carrie? She didn't know.

Once they arrived she immediately went in search for Flynn leaving nick behind to be greeted by all his friends but his eyes remained on her until she was out of his sight.

She found Flynn by her locker and began to confess her weird run-in with nick stopping occasionally for Flynn's input and raised eyebrows.

"Maybe he was just tired?" Flynn had said but Julie wasn't convinced "anyway, our class is about to start" she was right class was about to start! Not really the best way to kick if getting back into the music program.

Fortunately, their teacher wasn't there yet much to Julie's and Flynn's relief.

"Look who finally decided to show up" commented Carrie are her 'slaves' as Flynn called them, cackled at Carrie's little remark

"Go back to poisoning your apple, Carrie" Flynn said, scrunching her nose up in a mix of disgust and hatred for their ex-best friend.

The teacher turned up moments after the two girls had taken their seats. She settled the class down and began to explain the what they were doing for the next few weeks.

"For the next month or so we shall be doing a play for your grades" the teacher said earning a few eye rolls and groans for the class

"Let me guess, it's Romeo and Juliet" Flynn whispered quiet enough so only Julie could hear her comment

"It is Romeo and Juliet, but Their is a twist" the teacher announced

"They're making it a musical" Flynn whispered again

"We're making it a musical!"

Flynn pressed her lips together and nodded sarcastically, Julie shook her head, a smile formed on her face at her best friend's annoyed actions. Julie presumed Carrie and nick would get the two leads, they were perfect together... well they were on paper, not that she minded at all, she was far to busy with the band.

After the bell rang she prepared herself for her next class, wondering what the guys were doing at this moment in time.

Omggggg I did it! First chapter done and dusted. Each normal episode will be split up in three parts.

Also on a random note I've come to notice the name Carlos being a recurring name. Carlos from descendants, Carlos from a change of heart, Carlos from high school musical the musical the series (even though Kenny Ortega didn't create that he created hsm) and now Carlos from Julie and the phantoms~ WHO IS THE REAL CARLOS?!?! ... meh, I'm probably overthinking it and it has no significance.
