Reggie's POV

I am hanging out with my friends tonight. Well all my friends except for my boyfriend of two years. He says he's sick, and I would much rather be with him, but my stupid friends are making me go to the beach.

How dare they.

"Reg you ready to go? Everyone else is already in the car!" Luke yelled from the door.

"I'm going to Nick's house!!!" Well actually it was my house too. I moved in with him a while ago, but I've been staying at Luke's for a while because he doesn't want me to get sick. Every single  time I try to sneak out to go comfort him Luke just brings me back in the house.

Suddenly Luke appeared at the door looking frustrated.

"Julie's with him remember. He's fine. Just come hang out with us and afterwards we will bring you back home to Nick I promise okay?" I nodded, so be took that as an opportunity to grab my wrist and yank me outside where everyone but Julie and Nick were.

There was Alex, Carrie, Flynn, Luke, and Myself in total.

The ride to the beach was pretty much just me worrying about Nick and them telling me to shut up. Soon enough we were there though and everyone was getting out of the car. Well Luke dragged me out of the car.

You know what made it all better though? Julie was sitting right there on the beach. I thought that sarcastically by the way.

"Julie what the heck are you doing here!!!!" I screamed as I ran up to confront her,"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH NICK NOT...." I was cut off completely by guitar and piano playing in the background.

It was Nick. He was playing acoustic guitar behind me while in a suit. Wait why was he in a suit?

Also why was Luke playing the piano? Isn't that Julie's thing? I mean I knew he could play. Just not this good n

He finished and he was on one knee. I was crying definitely crying as he was in front of me.

"Reggie,"he started still holding the mic in his hand,"I have loved you since the minute I laid eyes on you. You were running down the hallway because you were late and ran smack into my locker door,"he chuckled softly,"yeah you had that black eye for about a week or two. When I first saw you perform, when we went to the winter formal back in high school, and even the nights when you were crying into my shoulder. These were all little things that were leading to this moment. This moment right here. Just you and me. Plus our group of friends. Now Reginald Mason Jennings will you marry me?" I was in shock and I was crying. All I could do was nod as I cried.

"So that's a yes then?" He asked laughing.

"Yes you dork." I grabbed him and pulled him into a kiss as I heard Alex yell Yeah Reggie get some!! And awes from the girls.

Luke was....hold on was Luke crying?

"I've just got something in my eye. The sand," none of us were believing him so he just rolled him eyes,"shut up." Nick put the ring on my finger and I pulled him back into another kiss.

This one definitely lasted longer than the one before. I just never wanted to let this moment go.

It was perfect. Absolutely perfect.

My parents were wrong. Love is real. It doesn't make you weak, and fighting is not love. Love makes you a stronger and better person, and gives you a happier life if you find the perfect someone to spend the rest of it with.

I found that with Nick.

He's my home.
