"Why are you even here? Are you here just to float or are you just here to make poor old little Reggie feel bad!!" My words sent Luke literally stumbling back.

"Reg I.."

"Just go!!!" I screamed and he went running out the door.

As soon as he left I went crumbling to the floor. Why did I just say that?

Luke's POV

I screwed up. I screwed up big time. This time though I'm not sure if I can fix it.

"Luke buddy what are you doing here?" Alex asked as he answered the door. I was soaking wet and I could barely stand I was so tired. He caught me when I fell though. He always does.

"What'd you do now? Please don't tell me you kissed Amanda in front of Reggie." How did he know? Apparently from my face he knew exactly what I was talking about and his face turned into one of concern.

"Luke please tell me you didn't." I nodded confused. Why did Reggie care if I kissed Amanda? She's my girlfriend.

"Luke Reggie has had a crush on you forever. This crush is so innocent and so pure. If you hurt Reggie at all I'm going to shove a stick so far up your..."

"Okay Alex I get it. How long did you say again that he has liked me?" He repeated the number and my heart broke.

I thought Reggie didn't like me. That's why I never made a move. I figured he was as straight as a ruler. Apparently he's a bendy one though.

"So you're saying that all this time you knew Reggie liked me back and you didn't say anything. You knew I liked him Alex.

I think Alex like legitimately forgot because his face turned into one of confusion the minute I said that.

"You forgot didn't you?" He didn't even try to hide it. He just straight up owned it with a nod. Well. Can't be mad at him for an honest mistake now can I...

Yes I can.

"Dude. I've liked him forever. You knew I told you. Can't believe you forgot." If I played my cards right then Alex would have a fruit basket in my room tomorrow morning.

"Do you like apples still?" I nodded and ran out the door. Alex was probably already ordering the basket so I'm excited.

Reggie's house isn't that far from Alex's house so it didn't take long to get back there. When I got there all the lights were off which probably meant that Reggie was trying to avoid me.

So I did what any same person would do.

I threw pinecones at his window until he answered.

The thing is though that I hadn't realized he answered so one hit him square in the face.

Oops.

"Sorry." I yelled as quietly as I could. He came back to the window and threw the pinecone right back at me. It hit me where the sun don't shine.

Then I heard chuckling which meant that Reggie thought it was hilarious, but he played baseball. He knows how to throw.

"Hey can we talk please." I yelled up to him. He nodded and closed his window.

A minute later the front door opened and there stood Reggie in his leather jacket and his flannel. Looking so hot like he always does.

"I'm so sorry Reggie. Amanda is cool but I don't like her. I shouldn't have kissed her and definitely not in front of the boy I like."

He looked taken aback at my words.

"Really?"

I went straight for is and kissed him.

After that the rest is history

Literally.
