Recap:

My eyes opened in shock, he had even locked the door. He moved to open the door and Michael stood there and told him that my house master was looking for me.

He let me go and I rushed out into Michael's arms and cried. I couldn't think of what would have happened to me if he'd not knocked. We stood like that and he was rubbing his hands on my back. After we pulled apart, I saw Joseph pass with just a glance our way and he left.

Michael told me that Shay and Lexi told him what happened and he asked if Mr Adams did anything to me. I shook my head and he hugged me and I made him promise not to tell Joseph about it. Michael more of a brother than a friend to me.

Mr Adams apologized the next day and Michael made it clear to him that if such behavior repeats itself that he's going to report him to the school management.

But seems like he's not learned his lesson.

After the closing assembly, since there's music and football practice, we all go to the field where the boys are playing ball.

The school closes by 3:30 pm but we don't leave school until 5 pm so we normally go to the field to play football, run and ride bicycles. The boys are not taking the game seriously so Shay, Vicky and I join them, pushing, pulling, kicking, dribbling, falling and laughing.

By the time we finish, most of our classmates have left and Joseph had gone to the tap. I pull my uniform over my sweaty body.

Gross!

I'll wash it anyway.

I just finish buttoning my shirt and sit down on a big stone by the side of the field, waiting for Shay when soft lips lands on mine.

To say I am shocked, would be an understament as the person raise their head and I'm even more shocked to see Michael. He winks at me and jogs away.

Did Michael just kiss me?

I'm as shocked as you are!

My conscious keeps wrangling as the scene keeps replaying in my head like a video. His lip were very soft and warm. I know that he has sexy lip but I never let myself imagine what kissing him would feel like. And now I find myself wanting to kiss him properly because this one had been quick.

I keep touching my fingers to my lips on my way home. Lexi just keeps rolling her eyes and Shay and I are glowing.

Shay finds it cool because to her, everything about boys is 'cool' and because one of her best friends has finally disvirgined her lips.

Unknowingly disvirgined.

"His lips are very soft." I coo.

"I know right. So did you feel anything when he kissed you?"

"Butterflies" when I first read about 'butterfly fluttering in the stomach'   in the novel that Favour gave me, I thought it was a stupid thing but now I can feel them in my stomach.

I think they're adult butterflies!

I think they're dragons!

I roll my eyes at those stupid conscious as Lexi makes a gagging sound.

"Eww! You guys are making me sick" She hates the idea of 'exchanging saliva with another person' as she calls it.

I smile while replaying the memories of my first kiss. I've had indirect kisses before, with Joseph through sharing of sweets but we never kissed as we were still young when we were dating.

But I'd do anything to kiss him now.

And also Shay and I have kissed a multiple times. Don't puke yet, they're not really kisses. Just touching of lips when we share things like chewing gum or candy and one of us breaks it in half with her teeth so the other takes it with her lips from her mouth.

Cute right?

*rolls eyes*

I await the call from Joseph or he should even talk to me but he hasn't.

Even if our eyes meets, I see a dark expression on his face like anger instead of the stoic one he usually wore.

Is he angry at me or something?

I asked Shay to talk to him again and she hasn't said anything yet. We have a free period and some students have left the class including Shay who is undoubtedly with Connor in the other class.

Michael takes my hand and I smile and turn to face him. Wondering if things got weird? The answer is NO. After he kissed me on Monday, he acted cool the second day I feel comfortable with him.

Things can never go weird with Michael, and now I think I have a crush on him.

"I want to marry you Jules" he says, his thumb stroking my skin.

"Thanks but no thanks Michael. I can't marry a douche bag like yourself."

He place his second palm over his heart in mock hurt, "You hurt my feelings J"

"Awwn.." I mock too.

"But seriously I want you to be my girlfriend. I really like you"

My heart flips over at those words and the expression on his face tells me that he's not joking. I look at him, unsure of what to say. I like him too and it'd be nice to date him but…

"I know what you are thinking about. Don't worry, I've asked him and he said he's okay with it"

"Really?" I don't know if I should be happy that Michael is considerate enough to ask for Joseph's permission or I should be mad that he thinks he owns me. He gets to date other girls and I'm here still waiting for him to even talk to me and now he's granting permissions for me to date?

Incredible.

"Yes. He said it's okay with him"

"Good. So I'll be your girlfriend but you should really behave" I say wagging a finger at him.

"I feel like kissing you right now"

"Get your filthy hands off me." I shriek dramatically and he laughs.

"So now to you I'm, hot boyfriend slash partner slash husband."

"Wow.. Really aiming for marriage. Well it might work out if you buy a ferrari for my father."

"Don't worry, I'll even build a mansion for him."

During break.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Hey girlfriend let's go for break."

"I'm pregnant in the legs. Why don't you buy me lunch?"

He rolls his eyes. "We've not even done anything yet. Come on let's go."

The truth is that I lost my lunch money and I don't know if I should tell him. "Seriously I can't go. I think I'm on my period"

He scrunch up his face at the mention of period. When I first saw my period in Ss1 he'd suspected and teased me about it and I was shy about it then because I didn't want him to know. But now I warn him whenever I'm on my period because of my PMS and he even calculates the date himself sometimes to know when he shouldn't cross my path. And I use it to make him back off of something.

"Oh.. Well suit yourself then."he squeeze my shoulder and leaves with a scowling Joseph.

" Hey take what I got you "Lexi throws potato chips and it hit my head.

" Ow! What was that for "

" It's for being careless enough to lose your money "Shay says as she throws a Happy hour at me, hitting the same spot.

" Are you guys planning on making me have amnesia or what? "I rub my head.

" At least you'd stop being obsessed with Joseph"Lexi rolls her eyes.

"So you and Michael now?" Shay wriggles her brows as she sits on my desk.

"Yes.. It's good right?"

"Yes. I even liked him more. At least he doesn't date girls and flirt with other girls. I wonder why you don't get angry at it" she says, referring to Joseph when we were dating.

"He's just that kind of person. He likes flirting with girls but I know that he didn't cheat on me"

"If dumping you for Sandra isn't cheating, then I don't know what is."

"Uggh.. Not you again." I groan.

Can people not stop telling me that he 'left' me for Sandra?!

I was right isn't it?

Fuck you!

"Well you are dating Michael now and you are happy."

"Yes very hap—Ow!" something hit my head before it falls on my laps. Crackers.

I look at the person who threw it and it's Michael, Shay and Lexi burst into laughter.

"You guys are evil. Now I have amnesia. Who are you?"

"I'm your husband" he places a hot drink on the table.

"Yeah right. Why is it hot?" I ask, touching the drink.

"Cold drinks are not good when you are on your period."

"Oh shoot me." I roll my eyes and the three of them laughs. I put the drink and crackers in my bad and decide to eat the chips and Happy hour instead.
