Had to sneak over here when you mentioned this song in the Gulch... It is one of my all time favorites but it has to be this version...when Odetta Holmes and Harry Belfonte performed this traditional folk song on May 2, 1960 in Carnegie Hall. This version appeared on his album, "Belafonte Returns to Carnegie Hall".

Oddette's inflections in this song make me laugh every time... and reminds me of whenever my husband asks for help finding something. HA HAHAHAHA!
