"What's your type?"
Randomly this tall buff, no, really muscular dude asks me. He seemed confident as if he was about his wits despite asking a complete stranger that.
I hesitated before answering, taking him in and wondering how to phrase my answer.
"Aahhmm.... I like tall big guys... someone who can take care of me, protect me...?" I replied shrugging and shaking my head my head unsure.
"Great! What would you do if I said that you just met your future husband!?" He asked beaming manically at me. Was he trying for sweet? It looked scary.
Is he off his rockers? Who even talks to people like this. I would take him for a blogger or online personality. But this nutter had no phone or camera. He was definitely my type but given his reaction I think it was more safe not to let him know that.
He stuck his hand out to me, "I am Aoi Todo. First grade Jujutsu sorcerer and your future husband. What's your name by the way, Mrs Todo?" He asked purely unaware of how nuts he sounded. His friends watched from a distance all grimacing. Some covered their eyes and some looked at me apologetically.
Todo stood awaiting with his hand out.
"Call me Flash." I said looking at him nervously.
"Flash? Why?"
"Cause I am about to run the fuck away!" I said bolting for my life.
'See ya, you crazy lunatic!' I thought to myself.
*sigh* I just moved to Kyoto from Hokkaido and managed to settle in, ready for my new job. I studied hard and worked via correspondence thus far.
I had one day before I joined work and decided to go do some sight seeing when this nut-job springs out of no where and presents what I can only assume to be a proposal...? I don't know I am not sure.
By the way I am Miya Toyama. I am twenty-five years old and will be joining Jujutsu High Kyoto branch as their new manager.
I can see curses and hold up barriers. I have an excellent sense of judgement and my sixth sense is polished to the tee. Coupled with my expert analytical skills I was perfect for the position of Jujutsu manager. Also I look really good in black formal.
Look at me speaking as if this was an interview, gah!
Well, that's enough of me, I sure do hope that Kyoto high has no looney cases like that dude.
Brrr *shiver* He was a tad to over the top and intense.
Wow, *exhales dramatically* *looks over shoulder*
'Thank God he didn't follow me...' I think as I walk up to a milkshake van, needing a cool drink after that.

Todo moved to run after her, the girl of his dreams but was stopped short when Kamo placed a hand on his arm, nervously.
"Ahh buddy, don't do that." He said shaking his head no.
"Just think of it was a challenge in love. If it's meant to be, she'll come back into your life." Nishimiya said chuckling nervously.
Frowning sternly, Todo grunted, "She'll have to, how else will we marry then?" He said determinedly.
"What ever happened to Takada-chan?" Mai asked dryly.
"Takada-chan shall always be my first love! But this girl is just like Takada-chan. It's meant to be, I know it." He said solemnly.
The group sighed, done trying to reason with him. They were happy to just stop him from going after the poor girl.
"Let's go I am hungry!" Mai exclaimed walking off. Nishimiya trudged off following Mai. Kamo held Aoi by the shoulders and led him away.

Aoi was late for the formal meet and greet of their new manager. He had urgent business to tend to and decided to sort that out first.
Meanwhile, the rest of them stood nervously in front of Miya, staring at her wild eyed. "Ohh I feel so sorry for you." Mai said, bursting into laughter.
Kamo grinned apprehensively.
Their new manager blinked in disbelief at them, 'This can't be happening to me. God please no...' she whined internally.
Breaking the silence she spoke, "So ahh where is that nutcase?" She hoped that he was just a friend but not part of the school. Hnh, wishful thinking.
"Todo-san had an early errand to run, but he'll be back in time to meet you." The girl Miwa replied with a frown.
'Well now, isn't that just dandy.' She thought dryly.

Todo had returned from his early morning errand and was on the phone with his 'brother' Yuuji.
"I am telling you, she's the one!" He insisted.
"Nah, I dunno man. Like if she ran away then that's a sign. Also you gotta stop being so forthright. It's a little scary." Yuuji replied.
"Ahh, nothing like having a man to man with my brother. Always honest. Love you brother." Todo replied sagely.
"Okay stop saying that if you're in public. You don't want to give people the wrong impression."
"But I do love you. No one can change that! But I get what you mean. I shall stop being so honest and lie more." He said nodding to himself even though he was on the phone.
"WHAT!? NO! No no no no! That's not what I said. Be honest but word it so that it ain't so- so, overwhelming." Yuuji replied, sorting the damage out.
"What do I do if I see Mrs Todo again?" He asked.
"Stop calling her that! And definitely not to her face if you do." Yuuji said exasperated.
"Okay."
"Listen, I gotta get ready for school okay. Text me if you need anything else okay?" Yuuji said.
"Alright brother. Have a good day." Todo said monotonously.
"And don't forget, no over bearing okay." Yuuji said before the call went snowy and cut.
Todo stared at his screen for a few seconds, thinking about what Yuuji said.
Pocketing his phone he strided off back to the main building in school.
He ended up missing the meeting to meet the new manager.
Walking ahead he bumped into a figure. She had her head down and didn't see where she was going. It was a tall woman in a black suit and crisp white button shirt. She had her hair parted open and wavy.
"Oh, sorry-" she began, lifting her head up to appologise, but had stopped mid sentence horrified to find the same guy she was hiding from stand in front of her.
Todo smiled wistfully, eyes going shiny with hope. "Wife!" He exclaimed moving to grab her in a large bear hug.
Miya moved swiftly, she stomped on his foot, twisting his arm as she spun away. Todo clutched his heart, "Wow that was amazing!" He said smiling at her.
She squinted in disbelief, "Huh?"
"Just perfect wife. You can stand up for yourself, not that you would need to with me around."
"Wife?" She asked, glaring at him.
"Yeah, you don't like being called Mrs Todo yet. I get it, it can be alot." He said rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Miya stood blinking dumbfounded.
"Unbelievable." She said softly before turning on her heel and walking briskly away.
Todo frowned, pouting sadly.
'What did I do wrong now?' He thought to himself.
•⊹٭⊹•
Miya didn't have any Jujutsu abilities but could see the curses and hold up very strong shields. Kyoto had hired her the moment they discovered her talent. She expected her work to go smoothly seeing as she was more admin. But that couldn't be further from the truth.
She spent the entire month dodging Todo and his weird behavior. For some reason he was convinced that she was his 'wife' and that she'd be on board with such a plan.
He was incapable of a normal conversation. Every time he met her he'd present her with odd rapid fire questions like:
"What kind of wedding do you want? Traditional or modern? We can do both..."
"Do you have any food allergies that our kids may get?"
"What's your favorite things in bed so I know how to improve."
After the last question, Miya had stomped hard on his foot and walked away in her blood-red stilettos.
'The guy has no game, sheesh.' She thought, shivering at the thought.
Aoi Todo was a first grade sorcerer that practiced at Jujutsu-High Kyoto.
He was a tall, muscular beefcake. Well he was more like a mountain of muscle if we're honest.
Miya found him handsome, not in that prince charming way, but more in rugged, hard-core masculine way.
She didn't deny he was her type, big and brawny. The embodiment of physical strength. It's just that he came across as a couple screws loose upstairs. It freaked her out.
Miya wasn't rich with contacts and had worked hard and smart. She earned everything she owned. Trust was something she didn't distribute as a freebie.
As a result, the people in her life were well picked and specific. Keeping a tight inner circle, she remained guarded all through her life not opening up to others easily and shutting alot of people down.
Todo came off as a loud, aggressive, semi-manic guy that would take what he wanted by force and no one could do anything about it.
That thought unsettled her a bit.
'Perhaps if he was a little softer, more ... I dunno tame?' She pondered in her room.
His adamant behavior in addition to him assuming she'd be his 'Mrs Todo'; what ever that meant, made her defenses go up immediately.
Miya took her meals in her room, preferring to stay out of sight. She rose early and reported for work punctually.
It was her second month since joining Jujutsu-High, Kyoto and she was summoned by the principal, no doubt for a specific task.
Standing in Principal Gakuganji's office, she attentively received her orders for the day.
She would be assessing all grievances or calls for the surrounding area and study the residuals. If there was indeed a spirit or curse, she'd notify the school and curse users or sorceres would be dispatched.
Bowing and exiting the room once she received her orders, Miya collided into a few students that huddled together whispering.
"Oh my apologies Miya-san, we were waiting for you. We'll show you to different exit passages and cars allocated for managers to use." A student named Kamo said, bowing respectfully.
She eyed him suspiciously, 'The students usually don't help with this kind of thing...' He smiled cheerily showing her the way.
Miya followed them out, stilettos clicking on the floor. True to his word, out in the foyer were three shiny black sedans.
"I umm, also just wanted to say one other thing Miya-san." He added apprehensively.
"I do appologise about Todo's behavior. He just - just feels strongly about things. If you tell him to leave you alone, I am sure he will stop. Have a good day." He said, bowing turning to leave with his friends.
Miya stood stunned, not sure of what to think now.
'Have I been overreacting?' She asked herself.
"Ohio Mrs Todo!" She heard him yell from the other side of the foyer. Flinging the car door open and jumping inside she gunned her engine and sped off.
'No I am definitely not overreacting about anything.' She thought.
Todo watched the car speed off. He was on his way to let her know of an urgent update. She was to remain within the perimeter of the school for safety. All sorcerers were to be dispatched immediately since a sudden burst of curses had closed in on them.
"She's in trouble, I'll have to stop her."
•⊹٭⊹•
Miya drove a two kilometers out of school before slamming on her breaks and swerving the car. On her bonnet sat a large fat green monster. It was sickening to the sight and made her want to roll her window down and puke.
Somehow, there was an onslaught of disgusting curses swarming in on them. She had to alert the school, picking up her phone she found the signal dead.
She couldn't reverse or move the car at all. Unable to move the car, jump out and run away or call anyone, she quickly learned that every way to get help had been stopped. Miya was stuck.
"Fuck." She said out loud.
She saw something large and striking from the side of her eye whizz past. Blinking she saw Todo single handedly diminish the curse that violently shook the car bonnet.
Ripping the door open, Aoi pulled her out by her wrist.
"Are you hurt?" He asked gruffly, scanning her once. She shook her head, bewildered.
"Don't worry, you're with me. Just stick close, it's safest." He reassured her.
Taking charge he pulled her behind him, charging his fists with energy and attacking the curses of after another.
He roundhoused one in the face gracefully landing back in place. In between jabbing and curling punches, he explained to her what was going on.
"A sudden rush of these curses were released. We don't know how-"
He stopped, to catch one that tried to sneak up on her, tearing it in half he growled madly.
"- but the important thing is to get rid of them now." He finished. Miya on her part stayed behind his back, a large wall that shielded her. She felt safe.
Finally finishing of the few that had been troubling her, he pulled on her hand and ran off back in the direction of the school.
"I tried calling you to alert you. But you just drove off." He said, taking a short cut and entering a dark alley way which presumably led back to the school.
Miya shrunk with guilt, looking down at the ground. They had slowed to a brisk walk, Todo still clutching her hand tight in his.
"The school has barriers up but not shields, we're rounding everyone up before we put up a strong shield." He said in a serious, deep voice.
Miya blinked, staying silent. They reached a doorway and he swung it open, pushing her in.
"Follow the path amd meet the others." He said curtly.
"Wait! Where are you going?" She asked scared.
"Back. I have to finish the rest off. Don't worry they're all grade 2 curses so I'll be fine." He said shutting the door behind him and barricading her off from the dangers outside.
Walking back dazed, she thought about the last fifteen minutes. Overwhelmed and surprised at how good he was as a sorcerer in the forefront. He cooly handled the situation without any panic.
Todo understood what to do. Such balance, such stability. Miya found herself swooning, tripping on her heel, she toppled forward but was caught. Looking up she found the girl with the blue hair who defended Todo.
"I came to find you." Miwa smile warmly. "Some of us stayed behind to guard the school." She explained.
Miya reached the entry way of the passage and finally met everyone else at a central point. The old wrinkly principal stood with his cane, looking at everyone.
"Miwa, please arrange a car for me. I need to back the others up. They are shorthanded with sorcerers." He said in a creaky voice.
Bowing low, she turned to leave but stopped short to find Todo lumber back inside. The other sorcerers retreating also.
"It stopped." He said abruptly.
Shrugging helplessly another sorcerer exclaimed that the curses had all been exorcised and destroyed. "Now to investigate the reason." The principal thought out loud, grooming his fingers through his beard.
•⊹٭⊹•
The next morning, Miya had went searching for Todo which was quiet the contrast from the last few days.
She found him working out on the track field, completing a set of burpees effortlessly, for someone his size.
The school was put on a break until the case was investigated, which gave everyone time to spare.
Walking up to him in a beautiful flowing, cotton, baby-doll dress, she smiled watching him excercise.
'Wow he's muscular. So much to see, to touch. To li-' catching herself she shook her head.
"Aoi Todo." She addressed him, catching him off-guard. He tripped, when he saw her, eyes widening with shock. "Mrs Todo." He said in wonder.
"What's your type." She shot at him, cheekily, maroon tinted lips smiling up beautifully.
Aoi exchanged a knowing grin.
"You are." He said smiling at her.
She raised her eyebrows in surprise, nodding with approval.
"What's your type Mrs Todo?" He asked, continuing this random conversation.
"I like tall guys with bug muscles." She grinned cheekily at him.
"I was right. Mrs Todo you are indeed!" He exclaimed, gesturing to himself as her type.
Laughing she shook her head.
"I came here to speak with you, Aoi-san." She said, calling him by his first name.
"Anything for you." He replied sweetly.
"Well, I wanted to thank you firstly. Yesterday you saved me. Thank you for protecting me because, it was a terrifying experience and you handled it so well that it calmed me."
Todo's eyes glimmering as he blinked at her in awe.
"It's my job first as your future husband and second as a Jujutsu sorcerer. I would over and over save you. It's not something you need to thank me for." He replied.
Miya smiled nervously at him, nodding in response.
"I umm... I wanted to apologize as well. I feel that I have misjudged you and too quickly. You caught me off guard and I was not sure how to react. Sorry for being rude-" He silenced her, raising a finger.
"It's okay. My brother told me. I come across as overbearing. I understand, I am a lot to take in." He said casually, completely unaware of the connotation he had left hanging in the air.
In that way he was so innocent and pure. Something you couldn't find in a man so easily, shocking as it was. Miya smiled at him.
"Why do you call me Mrs Todo?" She asked curiously.
"It's because you will be, one day. I know it, I saw it when I saw you that day."
Miya regarded him with a curious stare.
"You remind me of Takada-Chan. But where she brushes me off and is everyone's favorite. I have you, special and all to myself." He explained simply.
Miya should have been offended at what he just said. She should have wanted to smack him in rejection. But she somehow understood what he meant and she got why he liked her.
"Takada-chan is pretty cute..." She commented trailing off.
"You know! I knew I was right when my heart fell for you!" He exclaimed.
Chuckling she replied, "Alright then Aoi-san. What do you say we go on a date and if we get along further I'll consider being your Mrs Todo in future."
Todo's eyes lit up, he whimpered happily.
"Yes!" He exclaimed excitedly, lifting her up and spinning her around.
Three years later:
Aoi bent down on one knee, a rather ridiculous yet endearing sight for a man so large.
"Will you take a step closer and agree to becoming my Mrs Todo?"He asked holding a ring out to her.
A few tears slipped free from her eyes, Miya nodded wordlessly. Todo grinned, slipping princess cut the ring onto her finger.
He had proposed to her in the gardens of the the school, too impatient to wait out a romantic plan.
Kamo, Miwa, Mai and Nishimiya stood hiding behind some hedges watching the entire exchange.
"Wow he actually did it." Mai exclaimed surprised.
"I know right. And to think she bolted when they first met." Kamo said, just as surprised.
Nishimiya held out a handkerchief to Miwa who was too emotional to say anything.
"Love you future, Mrs Todo." He whispered to her.
"I got an upgrade from Mrs Todo, to future Mrs Todo!?" She exclaimed, teasing him. Todo barked out a laugh, smiling at his fiance dotingly.
"Come now, let us get out of here, to a more private place. The audience has seen enough." He said, glancing at the hedges. Mai froze holding her gun for protection.
Everyone else watched her reaction and broke into fits of giggles.
Suddenly Todo clapped his hands and swapped the group of onlookers with his fiancé. Miya stood mildy stunned, watching the group sheepishly grin at Todo, who had caught them.
"Glad you guys were here to see me get my Mrs Todo." He smirked triumphantly.
Todo led Miya out to of the school to the restaurant he had made reservations at, linking his arm with hers, like the large hulk of a gentleman he was.
"Thanks for giving us a chance..." He whispered.
