After waiting for what felt like forever, waiting in tears as she felt her fellow students fall one by one, Kuina only feels Suguru's strong presence left. Kuina remembers Satoru's words from earlier as she walks out of the classroom and onto the campus.

"Kuina" Maki says as she spots her.

"Kuina, turn back" Toge says as he tries to use his cursed speech to stop her but it doesn't work.

"We heard what Satoru said earlier, it's not worth it" Panda says as he reaches out a hand to Kuina but she ignores all three of them.

Kuina makes it over to where Suguru is as he leans over Yuta who is weakened. He goes to touch him when he feels something stab his through the stomach. He looks down and spots a spear in his abdomen. He turns around and spots Kuina who stands there, a whole abundance of weapons plastered on her body.

"I was wondering when you were going to show" Suguru says as he pulls out the spear, "didn't Satoru tell you not to come out here".

"He did" Kuina says as she unsheathes one of her sword as she covers it in hot pink cursed energy, "but I don't listen!".

"Mankind stands at the top of the food chain, yet they imagined the existence of higher beings and called them Gods" Suguru continues with his ridiculous drivel as he pulls out a three ended staff, Kuina rolling her eyes as he never seems to shut up, "don't you find that strange? Especially when we jujutsu sorcerers exist without belief".

Kuina breathes out as runs straight at Suguru and she flips over him as she hits him with the sword, cutting him. Kuina lands as Suguru hits her with the staff but she bats it out of the way. The two continue to hit each other as they move around.

"Rika, go help Kuina-chan" Yuta says as Rika covers him.

"That girl?" Rika asks as she looks over.

"Yes, that girl. She's protected me a lot and she's my friend. Make sure she doesn't get hurt" Yuta says as Rika nods, going over to help Kuina as she and Kuina both beat up Suguru.

Rika goes to bite Suguru but he jumps out of the way, only to be punched right in the face by Kuina. Suguru lands on the ground as Rika throws Kuina at Suguru. Kuina goes to cut Suguru but he dodges out of the way. Rika goes to grab Suguru but Suguru runs up her arm and jumps over her as he goes for Kuina who blocks his hit. Suguru puts up his staff as Kuina throws her sword at him as she pushes him backwards as they walk together. Rika goes to grab Suguru from behind as Kuina swings from the front as Suguru jumps out of the way. Rika backs off as Suguru goes to attack Kuina but she blocks his attack again. Rika and Kuina both go to attack at the same time but Suguru stops them both his staff.

"In the end, those monkeys just want to avert their eyes from the existence of those better than them" Suguru says as he looks at Kuina.

"You always spouted crap like this. Always saying childish crap. Don't dishonour those God's when you practically want to be one" Kuina says as black energy forms from under Suguru's foot.

"You're missing the point, Kuina" Suguru says as Kuina looks down.

An octopus curse ties her up but Kuina cuts out of straight away, only to be hit by Suguru's staff as Kuina falls to the ground.

"What I long for isn't enlightenment, it's chosen people" Suguru says as he goes for Kuina, "there are times when the strong are buried and oppressed by the weak due to sheer numbers. And I'm telling you that the audacity of the monkeys who do that make me so sick I could vomit" Suguru says as he looks to his right and he sees Rika is holding Kuina, "are we done debating?".

Kuina runs at Suguru as he swings for her but she appears behind him, shocking him by her speed. Kuina's blade breaks because she imbues the curse too quickly as she switches and she punches him, landing a black flash which throws him backwards.

"I'll kill you, Suguru!" Kuina yells, "you attack the thing I want to be. Someone normal, someone not cursed!"

"You're egotistical. How dare you want to be a monkey after being blessed with such power?" Suguru says as he gets up, "there's probably nothing more important in life to you than there is your brother and your friends. In that case, I'll also use my full force to kill you. I won't compromise on quality or quantity anymore. Did you know that there are only four people crowned special grade? Among curses, there are sixteen. This is one of them".

Suguru summons one of the many curses he collects, a special grade one.

"Special grade potential apparition, Tamamo-no-mae incarnate! On top of that, I'll combine the 4461 curses I possess into one and strike you with it" Suguru says with a smirk.

"Oi Geto-san" Yuta says from behind Kuina, "why don't I show you the power of true love?".

Yuta holds a hand up as lilac and white cursed energy forms into a ball above him.

"You can do that if you want Okkotsu-kun" Suguru says as he grabs Kuina and holds her into him, "but if you do, you'll kill Kuina".

"Kuina-chan" Yuta says as he drops his hand, the energy disappearing.

"It's okay, Yuta-senpai" Kuina says with a smile, "I've got this. Rika, protect Yuta for me".

Rika covers Yuta as Kuina smiles.

"Good girl" Kuina says as she grabs Suguru and she forces him to hold him, "cursed technique amplification: blue".

"No, Kuina don't do this please" Suguru says as he struggles against Kuina's cursed energy which ties them together like rope.

"Cursed technique reversal: red" Kuina says as she puts her hands together.

"Kuina, this will kill you too" Suguru says as he starts to worry.

"Hollow purple" Kuina says as a large ball of purple energy forms around Kuina and Suguru.

The light fades as Rika lets go of Yuta. Yuta looks over and sees that the entirety of the ground is burnt up, Kuina laid in the middle of it.

"Kuina-chan!" Yuta yells as he runs to Kuina and kneels down.

"Yuta" Kuina says as he helps her sit up, "I'll be okay, just go to the other first years".

"But you're hurt" Yuta says worriedly as he looks at her torso which is badly burnt.

"Please. I need to make sure he's gone" Kuina says as she stands up.

"Okay" Yuta says as he runs off.

Kuina spots Suguru heading around a corner as she goes after him.

"Suguru" Kuina says as Suguru falls to the ground, pressing his back against the wall.

Kuina goes and sits down next to him, The two sit there in silence for a while.

"Why didn't you stop?" Kuina asks as she looks down at her hands.

"I forgot you could do that" Suguru says with a small chuckle.

"Curse of being born into the Gojo clan, I guess" Kuina says as she sighs.

"Your power isn't a curse Kuina, it's a gift. You may compare yourself to your brother but he overpowered. You are you own kind of powerful. I know it's been ten years since we last sae each other back then but even then, you were powerful. But the skill you showed today is something I haven't seen in a long time. You have the potential to be greater than Satoru" Suguru says as Kuina puts her hand on his.

"Yeah no thanks" Kuina says as hot pink energy forms under her hand, "there's a bit of cursed energy for the afterlife. Not enough to give you strength, but enough so you're not lonely without Satoru and I up there".

"You're late, Satoru" Suguru says as he and Kuina look over at Satoru who stands there, "to think the two of you would be the ones here at my end. Is my family safe?".

"Every last one of them managed to escape" Satoru says as he crouches down, "the ones in Kyoto were under your order too, right?".

"Yeah" Suguru says as he holds his shoulder, "unlike you, I'm a kind man. You sent those two assuming I'd defeat them, didn't you? To set Okkotsu off".

"I trusted you" Satoru says bluntly, "trusted that a man as principled as you wouldn't kill off young sorcerers without reason".

"Trust huh?" Suguru scoffs, "I didn't think I still had any of that left. Return this for me, will you?" Suguru asks as he places Yuta's student ID in Kuina's hand.

"Was the elementary school your doing too?" Kuina asks as she looks over at him.

"Yeah" Suguru says cockily.

"I can't believe you" Kuina scoffs.

"Do you have any last words?" Satoru asks.

"No matter what anyone says, I hate those monkey's" Suguru says as he looks over at Satoru, "but I never held hatred towards anyone at Jujutsu High. I just couldn't wear a heartfelt smile in this world".

"Suguru" Satoru says calmly as he tells him something.

"At least hit me with a few more curses Kuina" Suguru says with a soft smile.

Kuina sighs as she looks down.

"Don't tell me" Satoru says as he comes over and he picks her up, "I know".

"I'm sorry" Kuina says as she grips onto his top, "this is all my fault. Please don't hate me".

"I could never hate you" Satoru says as they start to walk away, "you did as I told you, you listened to me for once. I couldn't ask for anything more".
