PRANATI MISHRA

I stood in my mother's living room, my world crumbling around me. She revealed the shocking truth with a calmness that sent shivers down my spine. "your daughter is alive, Pranati. I sent her to an orphanage." Her words cut through me like a dagger, shredding the fabric of my existence.

"Why?" I asked my voice so slow.

"For you betterment Pranati! This society wouldnt have accepted an illegitimate child and a mother who got pregnant before marriage."

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, unable to breathe. My mind reeled, memories flooding back - the pain, the loss, the anguish.

"Pranati, your child didn't survived, she was born breathless."

"You lied to me," I accused, my voice trembling. "You told me my child didn't survive." My mother's expression remained impassive, but her eyes betrayed a hint of guilt.

How could she? My child, my flesh and blood. She took her away from me, sent her to strangers. The thought of Jugnu growing up without me, in an orphanage, was unbearable.

I demanded answers, but my mother's justifications only fueled my rage. Determined to find Jugnu, I rushed to the orphanage, my heart racing with anticipation and fear.

What if she's not there? What if I'm too late? As I entered the orphanage, memories of my past flooded back. Sister Mary, the orphanage lady, greeted me warmly. "You're looking for Jugnu?" she asked, her eyes filled with compassion.

"Yes, my daughter," I replied, my voice cracking. She nodded. "Jugnu was adopted by a loving family. A single father, actually." My heart skipped a beat."Who?" I pressed, my voice barely above a whisper. Sister Mary's words changed everything:

"Reyansh Khurana." My mind reeled. Reyansh had my child. All these years, he'd kept her from me. Tears streamed down my face as I processed the revelation.

Reyansh, the man who'd once asked me to abort our child, now raised her as his own. Mixed emotions churned inside me - anger, gratitude, uncertainty."How is she?"

I asked, desperate for information."Jugnu is a bright, lovely child," Sister Mary replied. "Reyansh has given her a wonderful life." I needed to see Jugnu, hold her close, and make up for lost time.

Tomorrow's meeting with Reyansh would be tense, but I was ready. I would reclaim my child, my Jugnu. For a moment I can forgive Reyansh for what he did in past but not for keeping my daughter away from me.

Our past was going to come face to face once again I wonder what destiny held for Reyansh, me and ou... my daughter.

REYANSH KHURANA

Fear gripped me as I contemplated Pranati's reaction. How would she respond when she discovered I'd adopted our daughter, Jugnu, and kept it a secret all these years? But I knew my motivations were pure - protecting Jugnu from Pranati's manipulative mother.

That woman's influence had already harmed Pranati, shredding her innocence and trust. I couldn't let her harm our child. Memories of that fateful day still haunted me - Pranati's mother forcing her to abandon Jugnu at the orphanage, deceiving her into believing our child didn't survive.

I'd intervened, adopting Jugnu to safeguard her future. My actions had been a shield, protecting our daughter from the toxic grasp of her grandmother. Now, Pranati would learn the truth.

Would she understand my actions, or would she see only betrayal? Would she forgive me for keeping Jugnu's existence a secret, or would she demand answers? The uncertainty gnawed at me.

I waited for tomorrow as I wondered but destiny Held for both of us and our daughter.
