Khushi was left alone in the cafeteria as Aman was instructed by a peon to go to Arvind's cabin. Her cup of coffee was left untouched on the table as she still shaken by the incident that happened between Aman and her boss, ASR. All the excitement and nervousness in a positive way she had for her first day at work got replaced by disgust and fear after she got an idea of the personality of the man she'll be working for.

"Khushi!" she looked up startled to see who called her. Then smiled a little after recognizing the familiar face to her, "Di!"

"Are you okay? I heard what happened with Aman," Anjali said guiltily while taking a seat opposite Khushi.

"I'm still in shock. What your brother did was wrong Di.. How can he just throw coffee on Aman's face? Aman was already apologizing to him and he didn't even let Aman speak.. I was too numb at that moment.." Khushi said, shutting her eyes tightly momentarily as if trying to get rid of that disturbing incident memories of her mind.

"I seriously don't know what to say Khushi. I'm myself shocked with Arnav's behavior.. he stayed long time away from us.. I didn't have an idea that he has become so short tempered like this. And now I'm really regretting to recommend you his PA post," Anjali said guiltily.

"You don't need to say sorry Di. It wasn't your fault. He should be the one apologizing to Aman and Aman should have taken an action against him, but no.. he chose to stay quiet over this matter," Khushi said frowning slightly.

"Do you want to quit?" Anjali asked her, "You know.. I was the one who got you involved you in this.. and I can help you to-"

"Di, please calm down. You knew I was looking for a good job to help bhaiya financially with the house and my wedding expenses and you recommended this one to me. You didn't know this unfortunate incident was going to happen. And as much as I'm having mixed feelings about working for your brother, I'm helpless right now... I can't quit. Shyam bhaiya's business is not doing well right now, I just can't see my brother coming home every day tensed with bills, expenses and on top of that my wedding preparations about to start in a few months. I know he wonders how he's going to get the money for all this. That's why I decided to help him by working here as your brother's personal assistant. The salary here for PA is very high when compared to other companies, it will really help me at this moment. You know I couldn't completed my education, so it's going to be really complicated to get another good job like this for me again," Khushi said.

"I understand," Anjali nodded her head, then held Khushi's hand and pressed it lightly.

"Di.. I'm afraid of your brother when he gets to know that I'm his PA now," Khushi bit her lower lips nervously, "I wonder what would be his reaction when he sees me.. I was sitting with Aman here when he came suddenly."

Anjali gulped as she herself didn't know what her brother would do to Khushi in these circumstances.

Sometime later..

Khushi walked out of the cafeteria with Anjali as the employees were being called by the peons to join AR's multi-purpose corporate auditorium to announce the retirement of Arvind Singh Raizada and introduce Arnav Singh Raizada as the new CEO of AR.

Khushi was looking around searching for Aman, she sighed impatiently as she checked her phone to see if she got a reply of the message she sent to him asking where he was. Anjali looked at her smiling apologetically, "Khushi sorry.. I'll have to go now. Mom and Dad must be waiting for me."

"Yeah.. sure," Khushi looked up at Anjali as she smile a little assuring Anjali that she would be fine alone, "Aman must be coming too. Don't worry Di.. you can go."

"Are you sure you don't want to come with me? We're going to the same place.. Aman will meet us there," Anjali asked.

Khushi nodded her head as she replied, "I'll wait for him here. You go Di.. your family must be waiting for you."

"Okay.. see you soon!" Anjali patted her cheeks lightly and walked away from there, heading towards the auditorium to watch the welcoming her brother as CEO ceremony.

Khushi waited for few minutes in a corridor for Aman, she was getting impatient now as everyone seemed to disappear from there and she was left alone waiting for him. She decided to call him again when someone tapped her shoulder from behind, she turned to see who it was and sighed in relief seeing Aman in front of her, "Where were you? I was about to call you now.. you couldn't even reply to my messages."

Aman chuckled softly, "Did you got scared without me?"

Khushi rolled her eyes, "No. I was with Di when you left in the cafeteria. It's just we're being called for the announcement of the new CEO and I didn't want to go there without you."

As they start walking together towards the auditorium, Aman told her, "Our ex-CEO called me to talk about his son's inappropriate behavior with me in the cafeteria."

"What did he say?" Khushi asked curiously.

"He requested me not to take any action against his son and not report this issue to the HR department. As a compensation, he offered to increase my salary," Aman said.

"And you accepted it?" Khushi asked with wide eyes.

"Of course I did Khushi," Aman gave her an obviously look, "Am I mad not to accept such an offer? If I had taken legal action against his son, I would waste time in all these legal procedures in court.. they would have fired me from this company and I wouldn't find another job anytime soon. It's better to accept an increased salary offer instead of wasting time on this issue."

Though Khushi wasn't satisfied yet with this solution they found to solve this matter, she kept quiet, nodding slightly half-heartedly agreeing with Aman.

"Let's go and welcome that arrogant rich spoiled brat in AR now! Papa ka Rakshas!" Aman rolled his eyes as he held Khushi's hand, rushing inside the auditorium and taking their seats in the last row.

Khushi chuckled listening to the name he gave to Arnav, "What???"

"There is Papa ki Pari na (Papa's Angel), so same way he's Papa ka Rakshas (Papa's monster)," Aman whispered near ear making Khushi laugh, shaking her head in disbelief.

After the announcement and welcoming ceremony, Arnav went straight to the 15th floor of the building, to his cabin.

Khushi was also hurriedly guided to the same floor by Arvind's personal assistant, Aina. Aina looked at Khushi on the way as she opened her mouth to speak, "Miss Gupta, right?"

Khushi nodded her head, "Yes."

"Welcome to AR.. and congrats for your job as our CEO's PA!" Aina smiled friendly at Khushi. Khushi reciprocated with a warm smile, "Thank you so much.. umm.. your name?"

"Here in AR, you'll address me as Miss Singhania.. and outside the office, you can call me Aina!" Aina smiled as she introduced herself to Khushi.

"Okay.. nice to meet you Miss Singhania!" Khushi smiled as she extended her hand for a handshake.

"Same here Miss Gupta!" Aina smiled, "Now I'll show you my ex-desk that's now going to your new workplace!" Aina said guiding Khushi to a small cabin like set up located outside the CEO's cabin. Aina started explaining to Khushi basic things about AR company, their departments and policies, and Khushi already knew most of them as Aman told her about the company. Then Aina explained to her what general tasks she will have to complete as the CEO's PA, but Aina couldn't speak much about Arnav's demands, style of work and schedules as she never worked with him before so she had no idea about it.

"I think that's all you need to know to start your day as ASR's PA!" Aina said as she wondered if she left out an important detail to share with Khushi.

Khushi nodded with a grateful smile, "Thank you so much Aina.. oops sorry.. Miss Singhania! I really needed someone to guide me on my first day."

"You're welcome Miss Gupta!" Aina smiled at her as she blinked her eyes, "Now excuse me.. I'll have to inform ASR that you've arrived."

Saying this Aina walked towards the glass door of Arnav's cabin, she knocked the door twice and waited for his permission to get inside. Khushi was observing Aina's moves as she would have to repeat the same now when she needs to walk in the cabin and talk to her boss.

Khushi and Aina heard a sharp loud voice, "COME IN!". They both were startled for few seconds before Aina opened the door and walked inside the cabin and Khushi with her heart beating loudly, sat on her chair to calm herself down, "Calm down Khushi.. Calm down! He's just your boss.. not any rakshas.. well he is a rakshas.. but don't think like that now otherwise you'll be more scared of him."

Inside the cabin, Aina stood in front of him Arnav and informed him of Khushi Gupta, his new PA. Arnav just nodded his head in acknowledgment.

"ASR she's outside in her desk. Do you want me to call her in?" Aina asked politely.

Arnav shook his head as he kept his eyes glued to his laptop screen, he waved his hand in a dismissing manner and Aina understood the gesture. Wishing him a good day ahead, she left the cabin and walked towards Khushi's desk, informing her that whenever Arnav needs her for some work, she would receive his call through the landline phone. Khushi nodded her head and obediently sat there quietly waiting for her boss's orders.

After 45 minutes, she got his call and Khushi picked it up nervously, she didn't know what to say so she just stammered whatever came in her mind, "Ye-yes sir!"

"Come to my cabin!" she heard his commanding husky tone and nodded her head vigorously, then reminded herself that she's talking to him over landline phone and he couldn't see her, so she immediately added, "Yes sir."

Getting up from her chair, she adjusted her clothes and walked to his cabin door, she was about to open it but then shook her head and took a step back and knocked it twice like Aina did before.

Arnav rolled his eyes in exasperation. Wasn't he the one who gave her permission to walk in his cabin? Why is she knocking the door for permission now?

"Come in," he said irked.

Khushi shutting her eyes tightly praying to the Almighty to save her from Arnav as she will come face to face with him now and she doesn't know what will be his reaction after knowing that she is PA, the same girl sitting with the employee who mocked him.

She opened the door slowly and walked in the cabin with lowered eyes and fidgeting her fingers nervously.

"Bring me entire accounts reports of the last five years," Arnav ordered as he glanced once at her, then shifted his attention to his laptop again.

Khushi widened her eyes, she gulped thinking to herself, "How is this possible? He didn't react even after seeing my face.. didn't he recognize me now?"

Arnav looked up at her irked, why was she standing like a statue even after hearing his orders?

Khushi understood his looks, she quickly disappeared from there and rushed to the lift to get the reports.

Sometime later, she came back with the reports and handle it to him. Then walked back to her desk thinking about him, she frowned slightly to herself, "He didn't even look at me as if he recognized me.. but how's this possible.. I was sitting right there with him in the cafeteria .. and he saw me too. Whatever.. it's my good luck he didn't remember my face. At least, now I'll work normally too."

She waited for few more hours, sighing boringly while playing with the pens in her desk, she looked at Arnav's cabin with a shocked look, "Bhaisahab.. kitna kaam karta hai yeh (he works too much).. break bhi nahi liya abhi tak (he didn't even took a break till now)."
