☞︎Mentions of being drunk and alcohol
☞︎Bit of kissing but not much
————————————————————
Jughead has always been my best friend since before I can remember. He's always there for me and I'm there for him. We tell each other everything including all of our problems at home and the situations we put ourselves into. The one thing I haven't been honest about is my feelings. Every time he walks into a room my heart flutters and I light up with happiness. Jughead makes me feel like no one else. I plan on keeping my crush tucked away from him but that changed quickly. It all started the night he came to my house drunk.

I'm sitting in my living room eating my favorite ice cream and watching Stranger Things on Netflix. Since Jughead and Betty kissed I have been sad. The only thing that picks me up is Netflix, ice cream, and my undying feelings for my best friend.

Someone knocks on my door. It's very late and I'm expecting no one. I set my ice cream down and go to the door to find out who the mystery visitor is. They knock again as I open the door.

"Jughead?" I look at my wasted best friend leaning against my rickety door frame. His hair is messed up adding to his handsomeness. Jughead has the strong stinging smell of alcohol radiating off of him.

"My girl, Y/N!" He practically yells and gives me a bear hug.

Jughead's touch leaves my skin tingling and my breathe hitched. I return the big hug, "What are you doing here?"

"Can't I see my favorite person in the world?" He gives me a big smile that makes him look adorably childish.

"How did you get here? You better have not drove like this."

"The uh the red haired one gave me a ride in his car thing." Jughead leans back on the door.

"Thank god for Archie," I whisper to myself, "How about you stay on my couch tonight? It's late."

"Yay!" He walks into my house and jumps onto the couch. Jughead lays down on my pillows. The boy sees my ice cream and points at it, "Can I eat that? I haven't nothing in like an hour!"

I laugh at him and nod.

Jughead grabs the carton of creamy ice cream and starts to devour it. He smiles happily, "Your really nice. Did you know that I like you a lot? Like a crush.!"

I'm speechless. My longtime crush from 3rd grade just told me he likes me. My night should have been full of sorrow from his past kiss but it changed into something thrilling.

"My heart goes crazy for your amazing E/C eyes when they look my way. Also your beautiful H/C hair and I can't forget your lips that are so hard not to kiss. You are so beautiful, Y/N. You just make me happy." He smiles and giggles like a child. Jughead sets the ice cream down on my coffee table and reaches out for me.

I stay silent and reach my hand out for him to grab. My body feels weightless like I'm flying through soft fluffy clouds. My emotions are going wild but I tame them with the thoughts of tomorrow. He is so wasted there is no way he will remember anything he said.

Jughead pulls me closer to him so I am on top of him. He runs his hands carefully up and down my sides feeling all of my curves. "Your amazing."

I stare into his eyes and let him do whatever he wants. This is the closest thing I will get intimately with him. I soak in the moment. The only thing I will forget about is the putrid smell coming off of him. The smell of alcohol is very strong. "Your pretty great too, Juggie." I use the old nickname from when we where younger, Jughead told me he loved when I use it.

He smiles again and kisses me hard. His kiss is rough and sloppy.

I kiss back a bit but when he rubs his hand under my shirt I pull away quickly. He is blackout drunk and I can't take advantage of him like this.

Jughead plays with my hair. His eyes start to droop as he falls asleep without another word.

My friend looks so peaceful in his sleep so I let him stay there. I get out of his loose grip and go to my bedroom after turning off my tv. I go to sleep ready to dream about the moment between us.

☞︎Time Skip to Morning☜︎
I wake up later than I wanted the next morning. Jughead is still asleep on my couch so I start to make us some waffles and bacon for breakfast.

I'm just about finished when heavy footsteps walk towards me. "How bad was I?" Jughead holds his hand in his hands and sighs. He is hungover big time.

"Well you couldn't remember who Archie was so pretty bad." I get one of the waffles out of the hot iron and toss it onto a plate.

He grabs a glass from my cupboard. Jug fills it up to the top and grabs some medicine to counteract his pounding headache. He takes it and thinks for a second, "Did I say anything really weird?" Jug must remember something but there isn't much to remember except for the kiss and his confession.

I purse my lips and turn towards him, "Sort of."

He groans, "Oh god. What did I say?"

"Well..." I bite my lip and contemplate telling him what happened between us. He knows something went down last night. I can tell with his expression imprinted on his face.

"Something happened between us didn't it?"

"Yeah it did." I turn back to my breakfast to hide my crimson red face.

"Well there isn't any point of hiding it any longer." Jughead shrugs and leans his head back onto the counter. He smiles at me lightly.

"What were you hiding?"

"My feelings." He walks over to me and spins me around so I'm facing him. "I have had the biggest crush on you for the longest time. You probably don't feel the same and I totally understand because I mean who wants to date me?"

I decide to take a leap of faith and tell him, "Me. I want to date you, so much. I have felt the same for years but when you and Betty kissed I sort of lost hope. I thought you being in a relationship could make my crush go away but it didn't. In fact, it just made it stronger. It added to the already huge fire of emotions I felt for you."

He smiles at me. "I've wanted to hear you say that for a very extended period of time. The only thing that is incorrect is I didn't kiss Betty. She kissed me but I pushed her away. I haven't felt anything for her. The way you make me feel doesn't compare to anything I've felt before."

"The way you make me feel doesn't compare to anyone too." I step closer to him so our faces are inches apart, "We also may have kissed."

"Can I redo our first kiss?"

"Please." I close the gap between. I press my lips against his.

Jughead kisses me back and wraps his arms around me tightly as if he will never let me go. This kiss is more gently and loving compared to our rough kiss shared the night before. Last night's kiss isn't how I imagined his soft lips to feel. This satisfies me more.

We continue to kiss, now making out with my back pressed up against the counter, until a very smokey scent fills the air. I pull away from him and grab the burning bacon off the shove.

He laughs and wraps his arms back around me from behind. Jughead lays small but sweet kisses along my neck.

I frown at the stupid overly crispy bacon.

"It's okay, Y/N. I would rather have burnt bacon than no kisses." He mumbles into my neck.

I giggle at him and grab two plates from the cabinets. "I agree with you."
