So this is based in the 1800s I guess you know with princesses and all that.

You are a princess. You could honestly care less. It's not like you were the heir to the throne. In fact you are third in line, your older brother being first, then your older sister. Yep you are the youngest of your siblings. But it's not like you hated bring a princess, sure you like the constant service but it can be pretty boring. But one of the good things about being the youngest you're pretty spoiled.
"(Y/N)." You turned to see your mother standing in the doorway of your room. "Come. Me and your father have something for you."
And by something she ment someone.
"(Y/N) meet Ruki your new personal servant."
Ruki was a small man, with blond and brown hair. He was looking at the ground, fiddling with his fingers.
"Hello mistress (Y/N)." He spoke in a small voice and bowed.
"He is to do everything you say. Now take him a guest room. It will be his room from now on."
You lead Ruki to the room that was only a few rooms down from yours.
"Here's your new room Ruki." You said to him.
"Thank you mistress (Y/N)."
"Please just call me (Y/N)." Ruki opened his mouth to protest but you gave him a look that shut him up.

It has now been a few months since Ruki came. In those months Ruki became less shy around you, well he can now look at you in the eye. When around other people he likes to stand behind you and stay quiet, you find that adorable. Yes adorable. Also in there past months you've grown a crush on the small man. Though it's not exactly allowed to fall in love with your servant. But little did you know, that was all going to change.

"I can't take it anymore Ruki!" You yelled and stood up. You scared the poor boy so much he almost dropped the tea pot he was holding.
"Can't take what?" His small voice returning from nerves.
"I'm in love with you damn it!" You said making his eyes widen.
"I know it's not allowed but-"
"I love you too." His words made you stop pacing.
"Wait what."
"I love you too (Y/N)." He said putting the tea pot down and grabbing your hands.
"Well that's great but what about my family, the laws?" You asked now getting nervous. Ruki looked away in thought, then turned back to you.
"Run away with me." He said looking into your eyes. Now your eyes widened.
"Are...are you sure?" You asked unsure.
"Yes pack tour things I'll pack mine. And I mean you're the princess so you gotta have money too right?" You giggled at his stament but nodded.
"Great meet you at the entrance."

"As ready as I'll ever be." You said and grabbed his hand and started a new life.
