About a month has passed since you met Hizaki. He was the kind of ghost that messed with you. He would constantly knock things over, poke you, or jump scare you. You tried throwing things at him but it just goes through him.
Your family around? Doesn't matter to him.
"Hizaki, quit poking me. It's annoying." You said. The ghost just laughed and kept at it.
"Quit it!" You said and try to hit him. Your parents stop eating and looked at you strangely.
"Uh. My arm was twitching! Yeah! Stop arm! Bad arm!" You nervously chuckled. Your parents just nodded and went back to eating, wondering why they have such a strange child.
Hizaki laughed so hard he fell off the counter that he was sitting on.
But other than annoying you, Hizaki was actually a good friend. There were nights where you couldn't sleep, so he would run his fingers through your hair(how he could touch you but you can't touch him you have no idea) and sing an old Japanese song from his time to help you sleep. Those where the night were you could talk to him about his past.

"Hey Hizaki?"
"Yes (Y/N)?"
"How did you die?" His fingers that was in your hair froze.
"If you don't want to talk about it's fine." You quickly said.
"No it's fine." His fingers went back to moving through your hair.
"You know how I told you I was famous right?"
"You were a popular musician yeah."
"To keep it short and sweet, I was assassinated. Knife to the throat while I was sleeping."
"That's horrible."
"Yeah, it was a long time ago though."

After that night Hizaki began to fall in love with you. It took him a while to realize. But he enjoyed the nights where he could sing to you and watch your sleeping face. He loved teasing you, after all he was alone for over 100 years now.

Holy shit I'm in love with a ghost. You had this realization after that night. You loved how caring he was for you. You loved teaching him the things of the modern day. Sure he can annoy the hell out of you but you secretly enjoyed it.

You came home from school to see Hizaki pacing in your room.
"Yo Hizaki what's up with you?" You ask as you throw your bag on the ground. He stopped pacing and speed walked to you.
"What are yo-" You were cut off when he kissed you. He pulled back and quickly apologized.
"Woah what was that for." You asked, flustered.
"God dammit I'm in love with you." He blurted out. You blinked.
"Oh god you don't see me like that. Of course why would you be in love with a ghost." You stopped him by kissing him again.
"I am in love with you."
"Oh thank God." He said.
"I have one question though."
"What?"
"How come I can touch you know?!"
