I never thought I would have a hard time picking out a dress.
You thought as you stood in front of three dresses. You were getting ready to go to a party with your boyfriend, Meto. Only this wasn't a normal party. Not only was it one of those fancy ones, but you'll be in a room full of demons,and you'll have to walk around in uncomfortable heels talking to everyone of them with Meto. Why? Well he's the king of the underworld of course.
I know how can such a tiny man who barely talks be king? By being one hell of a bad ass. But he's the best leader they've had in years. And with Koichi, Mia, and Tsuzuku all as his second in command they're great.
"(Y/N) have you picked out a dress yet?" You heard Koichi ask behind the door.
"No I can't choose."
"You need help?"
"Please." Koichi walked in and looked at the dresses. Then at you. Then back to the dresses. Then back to you.
"Put on the purple one and lets go. Meto is waiting." He said as he walked out the door. You quickly grabbed the dress to put it on, one thing you learned dating a demon is to never keep one waiting, but Meto was such a sweetheart... Until you piss him off.
The dress reached about mid-thigh. Was purple, of course, it flared out at your hips so the skirt was poofy. The top had a sweetheart neckline and was a darker shade of purple then the skirt.
It was simple yet pretty. You had already put on makeup and curled your hair. You slipped on your black heels and walked out the door.
Meto was near the door wearing a white button up, black vest,black dress pants,and black converse. Even as a king he still doesn't like dressing up. Of course he was also wearing all his piercings and had slight makeup on.
What really made you giggle was the fact that he was struggling to tie his tie. He had his tongue out so focused on it he didn't see you walk out the room.
"You need help?" You asked making him look up,and smile at you as he nodded. You undid the knots and tied it perfectly.
"There you go all handsome." You said.
"You look beautiful." He said making you blush.
"Thanks. Now come on we can't be late for our own party now can we?" You said grabbing his hand and heading downstairs to the large room where the party was being held.
The room was full and looked up at you and Meto as you both stopped at the top of the stairs. Koichi ran up to the end of the stairs.
"Ladies and gentleman I present to you...the king and his oh so beautiful girlfriend." You giggled at Koichi and you and Meto walked down the stairs.

You sat down with a glass of champagne sighing from the relief off your feet. Meto was not far from you talking to Mia and some other guy you didn't know. The whole time you were here you couldn't help but have a bad feeling. You didn't know what it was but you stuck close to Meto. Then you relized why you had a bad feeling.
The doors blasted open with Soji, Meto's worst enemy on the other side. You stood up and ran to Meto's side making him wrap his arms around your waist.
"Where is the oh so great demon king?" Soji asked looking around.
"I'm right here." Meto said stepping in front of you. You hid slightly behind him keeping a tight grip on his arm.
"I want to talk to you. Privately." Soji said.
"What can you not say in front of everyone?"
"Just let me talk to you." Soji said getting impatient. Meto turned to Tsuzuku, Mia,and Koichi.
"Stay with (Y/N) don't let her leave your sight. If I say so get her out of here." He wisperd to them making them nod.
"Please stay with them and don't do anything stupid." He then said to you. You nodded and he kissed you and walked to Soji. You stood closer to Tsuzuku gripping his arm slightly.
Meto and Soji talked what seemed like hours but was probably only a few minutes.
Suddenly Meto turned to where you where and yelled at the guys,his eyes all black. He was going to fight. Tsuzuku tugged your arm making you run. He and Mia and Koichi lead you to a room and told you to stay there with them.

After a what seemed like hours all the screaming and thuds stopped. You heard footsteps walking to the room your in. The guys stood in front of you waiting. Then the door opened to reveal Meto alive, bruised and bleeding, but alive.
You ran to him and hugged him.
"Your ok." You said with tears in your eyes.
"Of course I am I'm a king after all."
