Esme at first seems like the cliché very well for due mannered young lady that she was raised to be. Compassionate, caring, quick to point out things. Loyal without a doubt. Brave and isn't afraid of doing what she believes is right. Intelligent, and always was curious.

Background:
Esme was born as the daughter of one of the high ranking generals in the Lannister's army. Her father wouldn't let her participate in anything remotely unlady like so she read and read...and read. The books she chose over the years consisted of history and battles lost and won. Not to mention battle tactics and geography. She was loved by the servants and by her father mainly. Her mother adored her and her older brother. Esme grew up extremely close to her younger cousin, Daria, due to the child's father being a soldier as well and having no mother to look after so Esme really took on that position.

Esme isn't very open when forced into situations with certain people. She hated having to fit the mold of the proper lady and believes that one day she might not be able to be herself anymore and will stay stuck that way.

She married Robb and wasn't there at the Red Wedding due to being ill. She wasn't kílled due to Tywin owing her father a debt which was paid by letting her live. Once Robb was murdered, she went into hiding, pregnant. She gave birth to a daughter.
