Long ago during the Qin dynasty, there was a young woman who lived in a small village outside of the Qin Dynasty empire. She was brought into the royal palace to be a handmaiden to the Emperor's daughter, Ming-Yue. Ming- Yue and this mysterious lady grew up together. They grew real close to each other throughout the years. Almost to the point of having a covert relationship once they became adults.

Any suitors Ming-Yue received seemed to...vanish. Nobody knew how or why. But anywho, they were going missing left and right. Little did they know that a certain woman was getting rid of them out of jealousy. And out of a desire to keep Ming-Yue safe, since she didn't trust some of the suitors.

But alas, all good things come to an end. One day the mysterious woman was caught having a relationship. Getting arrested, the woman was put on trial for serial murder, relations with the Emperor's daughter and crimes against humanity.

She was then sentenced to death via a slow acting poison. A cruel death. A fitting death.

Little did they know that she fell asleep as a human and woke up...a demon.
