NEXT DAY

Sai was sitting in her Cabin reading files. Just then she heard a knock.

" Come in! " She said while engrossed in the files.

The door opened and Virat entered.

She looked up at him. He was having two glasses of Virgin Mohito 🍸🍸 in his hand, which were her favorite.

" Virgin Mohito! " She screamed in happiness and took away a glass from his hand while he smiled looking at HIS JHALLI.

They sat on the couch having their drink. Just then he realized that Sai was wearing a white knee lenght dress, which was not formal.

" Tu kahin jaa rahi hai? " He asked sipping his drink.

" Hmmm!.... Tujhe bataya toh tha!.... Date ke bare mein! " She said resting her head on his chest.

As soon as he heard about the date, he felt a sudden uneasiness. A lump formed in his throat. He just hummed in reply.

" kab jaa rahi h? " He asked in a heavy voice.

" He'll come to pick me up at 4! " She said with an excited expression.

" ohhhh! " He said trying not to show her, his sadness.

Soon they heard the sound of horn. She took her clutch and left but not before hugging Virat.

Virat stood their broken.

" I don't how?... but I fell for u!... Yes I realized my love for u but now it's too late to confess it to u!... I won't disturb u anymore! " Saying this he left.

This continued for a month. Sai and Aryan used to go on dates frequently but Sai realized that she don't love Aryan neither does he. She somewhere in the corner of her heart had love for Virat but didn't realize it.

Virat in this one month changed completely. His parents started looking brides for her while he started maintaining distance from Sai and started ignoring her, just to move on.

Whenever she wanted to spend some quality time with him, he used to give excuses and leave due to which Sai was hurt.

But Sai didn't give up and started trying new tricks and methods of changing him back to the earlier Virat. Sometimes she was successful and sometimes not, in doing so.

Sai and Virat were sitting in the waiting area of the airport. They were returning to Nagpur as Ninad called Virat for some reason.

They boarded their flights and the flight took of within 40 mins. After one and a half hour the flight landed in Nagpur.

They took their luggages and came out of the airport only to face media. The media was impatiently waiting for the most popular business tycoons of India with a pile of questions. However their bodyguards took them cautiously to their car.

They settled down in the car. Sai offered water to Virat but he denied. Sai then kept the bottle, which Virat took after sometime and drank it. Sai was hurt due to his act but stayed silent.

They reached CN within 30 mins. Sai took her luggage and went to her house silently.

Sai reached at the entrance of house and pressed the bell. One of the maid opened the door. Alka came and hugged Sai, while Sai also reciprocated.

" Kaisa hai mera bachha? " Alka said breaking the hug and pecking her forehead.

" Main theek hun Maa!... Aap kaise ho? " Sai said bending down and touching her mom's feet.

" Main bhi bilkul theek hun " Said Alka.
Just then they heard another voice.

" Sirf Aai se milegi bada? " said Kamal.

Sai ran and hugged her father and touched his feet.

The trio shared some quality time after so long.

At 6pm in the evening Sai went to CN to meet Ashwini and Ninad.

As soon as she reached the entrance she saw a few guests sitting on the couch. She noticed that the girl beside Virat was  blushing and stealing glances of him.

Just then Ashwini saw Sai standing at the entrance.

" Sai bada!... Tu wahan kya kr rahi hai?... Andar aa! " Ashwini said deriving everyone's attention towards Sai.

" Ho Kaku! " said Sai entering and greeted the guests.

" Bada yeh Rishita hai!... Aur yeh uske Aai Baba! " Ashwini said indicating towards Rishita and her parents.

" Hum bas Virat aur Rishita ki shaadi ki baat Kar rahe the!... Tum bhi Aao humare saath baitho! " said Ashwini.

She felt as if her whole world came down crashing. It was the moment Sai realized her love for Virat, but circumstances were different at the moment. She realized that she loved him, she realized that she couldn't see him with another girl, she realized that the care she had for him was not just friendship it was something more than that.

She looked towards Virat with teary eyes who himself was sitting their with a fake smile. She came and sat beside Ashwini.

Virat and Rishita were sent to garden, to spend some time with eachother. As he was leaving, Sai was constantly seeing him without even blinking her eyes, he could feel her intense gaze on him.

As Virat left with Rishita, Sai stood and left giving an excuse to Ninad and Ashwini.

As she came out, she went towards Virat and Rishita who were sitting on the couch in the garden.

" Hi Rishita!... Myself Sai Joshi!.... Virat ki friend aur business partner! " She said with teary and hurted eyes, which was clearly visible to Virat. Even he was hurt, the way she called them just friends.

" Hi Sai!.... Myself Rishita Patil! " She said shaking hands with Sai.

" Congratulations guys!... U guys r soon going to be life partners!... Rishita u r wery lucky to have Virat as ur life partner, he has every quality a girl wants to be in her life partner!... Main chalti hun!... U guys enjoy ur private time! " She left but not before giving him a hurted smile.

Sai reached home, her eyes were red and swollen due to crying. Just then her mom saw her red eyes.

" Sai tu kab aayi?... Aur Tere aankh kyun laal Hain? " Her mother asked to Wich she replied " kuch nahi Maa, would aankh mein kuch chala gaya tha! "

She went to her room and closed the door with a thud. She went to the washroom and turned on the shower. She stood under the cold running water. After sometime she came out wrapping a bathrobe. She went towards her bed and lied down, switching of the lights except the bedside lamp.

At 8 she woke up due to the ring of her phone which was ringing continuously.

She got up and checked her phone. She saw 10 missed calls from her mom, 6 from her another friend and 8 from Virat due to which she woke up.

She called back Virat.

" Hello! " She said.

" Call kyun nahi utha rahi thi?.... Kahan hai tu abhi? " He started his list questions.

" Ghar pe hun or soi huyi thi isliye call nahi utha rahi thi!... Kuch kaam tha? " She said.

" Nahi!... Bas aise hi call kiya tha! " He lied because he didn't had the courage to invite her on his engagement that is on day after tomorrow.

The hunged up the phone, crying silently.
