In the long grass on the Cimarron, a mare was in pain. She was having her foal. The mare was a light black mare with light blue highlights and green eyes. "Come on Edith. You're doing great." a flaxen mare encouraged. Edith yelled in pain and then felt a wave of relief over her body. A tiny whinny could be heard. Edith looked over and gasped at her foal. It was a colt. He was dark black with dark blue highlights. He opened his blue eyes and looked at his mother. "I'll name you, Edward." Edith stated. Edward squeaked as Edith licked him. She then nibbled her son's forelock as he did the same. "He's so cute!" A bay stallion cooed. "Is this our son Edith?" A chestnut stallion with black highlights and blue eyes asked. "Yes Conner, he is. His name is Edward." Edith replied. She then stood up and went to go graze. Edward stood up on his wobbly legs and neighed after his mother. Edward fell down but got back up. "He's a persistent little fella." A palomino mare chuckled. Edward wobbled over to his mother and ate. After he finished eating, Edward curled up to his mother and fell asleep. Two years later, Edward was almost a full grown stallion. Then three foals were born. All colts. The oldest one, Diesel 10. The second one Gordon and the third one Henry. A few months later foals Emily, Mavis, Diesel, James, 'Arry, 'Bert, Den, Dart, and  Sidney were born. Two years later, Edward was a full grown stallion. The others were a year/months behind him and were pretty young. They all looked as Edward as a friend and big brother. Diesel is a jet black colt with a star on his head, hazel eyes, and light black highlights. Diesel 10 is a beige colt with light green eyes, and tan highlights. Gordon is a black pinto, with blue eyes, and white highlights. Henry is a black paint with crystal blue eyes, and black highlights. Den and Dart are identical bay thoroughbreds with hazel eyes and chestnut highlights. 'Arry and 'Bert are palominos with green eyes and black highlights. Sidney is a blue roan with teal eyes and aqua green highlights. Mavis is a black Tennessee Walker with honey colored highlights and light green eyes. Emily is a dutch warm blood with lavender highlights and emerald green eyes.
