Day 71:

    It was so hot today.  I think it got up to 103 degrees, which made me very glad we have a pool.  I think it's supposed to be 73 and rainy on Saturday.  California, make up your mind.

     The heat and lack of school makes it feel so much like summer.  The only thing missing is constantly being with my friends and my summer swim team.  I don't like the heat because it means I can't leave my windows open all day like I prefer to, and my room feels really stuffy a lot of the time.  One plus side is that my cats are staying inside more, in sure due to the fact that fur is not very compatible with 100 degree heat.

     We're supposed to get out on the 1st.  All of my friends are taking bets as to if we'll actually get out or if they're just going to extend it out further into June.  I'm hoping that they'll at least let groups under ten meet so that my friends and I can hang out together.  It's just three more days of school to get through, and then I'm off free until mid-August (unless we start early like Newsom said we might (if we even start again in the fall)).
