Day 60:

     My friend is fostering six (6!) kittens right now and they're all the tiniest, cutest, most precious little things and I want to just let them climb all over me but instead I coo at them through FaceTime.  Their names are all versions of friend,' so we've got Amigo, Chump, Pal, etc.  There's just a million tiny little kittens running around with adorable names and I want to hug them all.  Anyway.

      I went downtown this evening to get take-out (at a social distance, wearing a mask), and it amazed me how busy it was.  It almost looked like a regular Friday night, except for the fact that no one was sitting in the restaurants and there was no band performing on the bandstand.  People are getting restless, and it's going to get way worse if they don't lift the restrictions after May 31st.  I think people will just blatantly ignore guidelines to leave their house and hang out with friends.

    I can't spend time around just my family for much longer.
