Day 43:
My dad said I can give him a Mohawk on day 50. I've never cut anyone's hair before so we'll see how this goes. Maybe I'll be able to convince him to dye it blue. He keeps saying he has video conferences but I told him to wear a hat.
I met with a friend today at a park near my house. We each brought our own blankets, and sat six feet apart from each other. It was amazing to see her again not through a screen, and we kept joking about lagging in real life. I really wanted to hug her, but we made sure to stay apart. It frustrated me because there was a group of three other girls in the park who were obviously not related and they weren't practicing any form of social distancing at all. It frustrates me that they put so many more people at risk just because they want to hang out. Ugh.
I did get more books from my friend, which is good because I've been running out. I've been rereading The Lunar Chronicles and I forgot how good they are. Highly recommend if you're looking for something to read in quarantine. I also reached peak boredom yesterday and reorganized all of my books in rainbow order, despite the fact that I just organized them by author last name a couple months ago. It's really aesthetically pleasing and it makes me happy, even if it took forever to do.
