(Romano's POV)

                                    Ah! It is tourist season! That means more beautiful ladies will come to my place and more suckers will come to see my wonderful land! This is my favorite season! Now, I just have to casually walk around the Spanish Steps. I noticed many cute American girls taking pictures of themselves with the building. I walked up to the top of the building and looked around the area. It was busy but growing. More people with different tongues come by daily. I glanced around and saw two Asian American girls talking about pigeons and flaming knives... Wait, what?

"Yes, I will have pigeons carry flaming knives against my enemies one day!" the small girl proclaimed.

"I don't think that will be a good idea" the older girl said as she began to laugh.

Ok, yeah, those two are definitely from America. I recall that hamburger making a similar plan but with ice cream. I was about to walk away until I saw something odd. I saw a blue beam and then I looked at the girls. The smaller one climbs the fence, and no one was stopping her! The older girl just sighed and the smaller one turned her back against the ground. She then fell backwards! Oh, my gods! I ran to the fence to see if I could grab her, but I was too late! She fell and then she summoned a green dragon... What the heck is going on? She landed on the dragon and laughed.

"Oh, so that's how it is going to be!" the older said amazed.

She jumped on the fence and jumped off the building! She tapped a device on her wrist and angelic wings appeared from her back. She was almost like an angel except insane. I was staring at the two of them amazed. The two of them were giggling as if this was normal! The two of them flew to the bottom of the building and I chased after them! I need to know what the heck is going on!

"That was great!" the older one said as she landed.

"Yep! Though, we do need to do something more dramatic, but I can't think of anything" the smaller one said as she laid on the dragon.

I stopped as I reached the bottom. I noticed people were walking and talking as if they didn't see the dragon! The older one's wings vanished, and the green dragon disappeared. Then a blue beam vanished and the two of them walked away! I chased after them! I need to know what the heck is going on! As I was closing in on them, I ran into my stupid brother!

"Ow... Oh! Romano! How are you?!" he asked me in his usually cheery voice.

"Fine! Now, get out of my way!" I shouted as I chased after them.

My stupid brother followed me as he asked worriedly "What's wrong?! Did something happen?!"

"Yes! Those two girls did something!" I shouted as I kept running.

We were heading to my Grandfather's Colosseum. I began to look for them and I saw them entering a restaurant! I ran to the restaurant and we stopped. The two of them were eating some pasta together happily. I sat down at a table and my dumb brother joined me. He was panting heavily, so I handed him a glass of water.

"So, big brother, why did we come in here?" he asked weakly.

"Those two girls did something. I need to find out what they did" I said seriously as I glared at them.

Veneziano looked at them and smiled?! He joyfully walked over to them and embraced the smaller one?! What the heck?! I walked over to them angrily. They may be cute young ladies, but something was going on!

"Feliciano! Who are these ladies?!" I asked him seriously.

"Lovino! These are the two girls I was talking about a while back!" my little brother said with a bright smile on his face.

I couldn't believe it. Was it really them? They were alive? How? I was crying.

"Are you ok?!" the ladies asked me.

I just nodded. I thought they were gone. Dead. It seems like we were wrong. Thank goodness. Wait, if they are here, then where are the others?!

"So! Where are you two going?" Feliciano asked curiously.

"We are just exploring Rome for the day!" Nerissa said excitedly.

"You like Rome?" I asked her.

"Yes! I can get inspired to drawl anything!" Nerissa responded as she smiled.

Nope, that's it I'm crying! This little girl is too precious for any danger!

"Let my guide you around my city!" I offered them.

The two girls nodded eagerly, and we began to walk around my city. Since I am the personification of the South half of the nation, I can do anything I want in my own country! I guided them to the Trevi Fountain. The two girls began to take in the site of the fountain.

"Feliciano, what are their names?" I asked him a whisper.

"Oh! The small one is Nerissa and the tall one is Nina" Feliciano said with a smile.

I nodded. The two of them were walking around examining the statues and taking pictures of them. Nina waved her hands and water jumped out! The water nearly splashed me and Feliciano. Then I took the two girls to St. Peter's Basilica. The two of them gazed in awe at how decorative the church it. The marble statues stood tall and proud with the feast table ready for another day of mass. I noticed that the two girls are not taking pictures of this church.

"Hey, you can take photos here if you want" I said to them.

"Thank you for the offer Lovino, but I personally find it disrespectful to take pictures in a beautiful building" Nerissa said as she looked at all of the paintings and the stain glass windows.

"How come you find it disrespectful?" I asked her curiously.

"These are works of art that should be seen by the human eye than a photo. A photo can capture moments, but nothing will change the moment of actually seeing the events unfold" Nerissa said as she took out her sketch pad and began to drawl something.

I was impressed. Most tourist do not think of that. We stayed in the church for awhile until it was dinner time. My brother and I took them to a restaurant and ate a meal together. It was a pretty fun dinner. I learned from Nerissa that she wanted to be a Champion Figure Skater and doctor. Nina just wanted to make people happy.

"Well, we should head back to the hotel. Our parents might be looking for us soon" Nina said calmly.

My brother and I nodded, and we walked to the hotel. Or tried to. As we walked pass the Colosseum, a large wave of dark creatures appeared! Nerissa acted fast and created the blue beam. Nina pulled me aside, but the dark creatures grab my brother!

"Romano!" Feliciano shouted in a panic!

I chased after him, but I couldn't catch up to them! Nina and Nerissa nodded at each other and then Nerissa created her dragon and Nina had her wings on.

"Come on! We've got to help him!" Nerissa shouted urgently.

Nina flew on ahead and she summoned her key shaped sword again.

"Give him back!" she shouted loudly.

She cast a fireball at the creatures, but she was only able to defeat a few! Dang it! She didn't stop chasing him! It was twilight and the creatures were still coming!

"Nina! Who could be doing this?!" Nerissa shouted urgently.

Nina remained calm as she responded "I don't know!"

However, a great darkness appeared as we flew over the Colosseum. A young man jumped out and shot a dark beam at us! Nina quickly dived to the ground and Nerissa made her dragon disappear!

"Ruined!" Nina shouted as she threw her sword at him.

He missed it and we were falling to the ground! Nina summoned her sword back and made her wings appear. Nerissa created her dragon and saved me from falling.

"Romano! Nina! Nerissa! Someone save me!" Feliciano shouted in a panic.

"So, how should we save my brother?" I asked them seriously as Ruined went back to the Colosseum.

"He wants us..." Nina said thoughtfully.

"You have an idea?" Nerissa asked.

Nina smiled and said "Yes"

I held Nina's wrist as we entered the Colosseum. I didn't like her plan, but it might work. We stood on the edge of the Colosseum where the soldiers would kill people for entertainment.

"Yo! Jerk! Where are you?!" I shouted loudly.

That man appeared with my brother in his arms. He was so going to have it.

"I didn't think you would do that so easily. Now, hand her over to me" he said surprised.

"No, you let go of my brother" I said seriously.

"How about we count to three and release them?" he offered.

I nodded. I slowly let go of Nina's wrists as that man counted. That man let go of my brother's wrist and they slowly walked across.

"Now!" I shouted as Feliciano ran to me.

Nerissa flew in on her dragon and unleashed a giant green beam. Nina flew back and stood in front of my brother and I. She summoned her sword just in case. Ruined jumped away and growled.

"Why? ..." he asked in a whisper.

"What?" Nina asked as Nerissa flew over to our side.

"Why do I have to hurt you? ..." he whispered.

What does he mean? Before I could ask, this jerk shot dark energy beams at us! Nerissa's dragon shielded us from the beams while Nina blocked it using her sword.

"Do you see a keyhole?!" Nina shouted urgently.

My brother and I looked around for one, but we couldn't see anything. Nerissa noticed a dark corridor behind him!

"Nina! There's a dark corridor!" Nerissa shouted.

Nina smiled and nodded. Nerissa jumped in the air and shot an energy beam at Ruined. Ruined was launched back to the dark corridor and Nina waved her sword over it. The dark corridor was closed. I sighed, and I saw Feliciano asleep. I smiled, and I noticed how tired Nerissa was. Nina walked over to her little sister and made the blue beam disappear.

"Let's go home and rest" Nina said happily.

We walked to the hotel and then we all fell asleep. Afterwards, I took the two girls around Rome for their last day. Feliciano and I waved them off as they went to the airport.

"Romano, do you think our lives will have more hope?" Feliciano asked me happily.

"What do you mean, jerk?" I asked him.

"I feel like the world will be brighter" he said to me with a bright smile as he opened his eyes.

I only nodded. I agreed with my brother and we smiled. Our lives have been tough, but that's what it has to be. However, that doesn't mean our lives won't be better. I could see a new sunrise coming.
