In the game, you will have the option to repair and drive your own vehicle of your choosing, whether it be a car, a truck, a motorcycle, or any other available vehicle in the game.

You can use it to travel across the map at a much quicker rate. However, if you wish to travel across the map on foot, you do have the option to ignore them.

You can also modify your vehicle to either make them stronger, faster, or to add weapons onto it like a harpoon or an automated turret. Much like the weapon/armor mods, you need blueprints to unlock them.
