part 2 - Ghira Belladonna
Menagerie Docks 10:00AM
"Over here, Ghira!" Kali waved toward her husband before smiling warmly.
"Kali!" Ghira started to make his way over, barging someone aside in the process. "Outta my way!"
"I can't believe you're here! Thank you for coming!"
"Hey, you're my wife, Sienna was a little angry that I had to leave the meeting between the White Fang and Menagerie Council like that, but once I told her it was family Business, she was kind enough to let me reschedule. Now what's this I hear about Y/N?"
Kali soon started to break down into tears. "It was horrible...it was like he had a third arm! Nobody else could see it except him and me. He reached out and took the policeman's gun and. it caught the bullet somehow.."
"And you're sure he used the words 'Evil Spirit' Kali?" Ghira asked as Kali regained her composure again.
"Yes, that's right.." Kali said, resting her head on her husband and gently hugging him.
"And aside from him saying he's possessed, you feel fine, right?" Ghira asked, a look of concern washing over him for a moment.
"I feel fine, I'm just....worried" Kali responded, continuing to hug him silently.
"There there, you don't need to worry now Ghira Belladonna is here." He grinned in response as the couple started to make their way out of the docks.
With that interaction, Ghira snapped his fingers and a man dressed in vacuoan robes stood and started to follow both Kali and Ghira.
"Time to see our son. He can explain this himself."
"You didn't bring Blake?"
"There's no sense in taking both our children out of school, besides, she's already worried about her studies right now.."
Menagerie police station 10:47AM
Y/N awoke to a commotion outside his cell, it sounded like the two officers from before had returned with another visitor. He sighed and sat up, probably Kali again.
"Now just hold on a minute, sir, you should really stay where you are!"
"Yeah, this guy is dangerous!"
"Outta my way!"
That last voice was familiar, Ghira stood at the bars of the cell. The both of them locked eyes for a moment.
"I'll be taking my son home now." He said, opening the door to the cell.
"Come out."
Y/N and Ghira both affixed one another with stern gazes, both of them walking from their end to the other and meeting in the middle.
"Your father has had prior experiences with semblances such as yours, please come out and talk to him!" Kali piped up from where she was stood.
"Oh please, you think anyone can help me? Much less an old man such as yourself? You've wasted your time coming here father. You should head back to the white fang instead of wasting time here."
Y/N responded with a frown.
"Avdol, it's your turn now. Do what you have to do to get him out." Ghira ordered, turning to his Vacuoan companion. A small nod in response.
"What, you think that some guy is going to manage to bring me out just because you told them to do it? I don't work like that. In fact, all you've done is made me want to stay a little more."
Y/N responded before glaring at the vacuoan man.
"This won't take long, Mr Belladonna. In a few moments, he will be riddled with enough pain that he'll be begging you to let him out."
Came the response before a fiery aura surrounded Avdol. Kali watched and gritted her teeth, uncertainty rising.
"What? This is..." Y/N watched the man in horror as a red figure started to manifest beside the stranger.
"That's right, Avdol also possesses what you might call an evil spirit, which is completely under his power!" Ghira said with a grin.
"And it's name...Magician's Red!"
At its name, the stand burst forth with a mighty shriek of power, the temperature rising rapidly.
"Red Bind!" Avdol yelled and tendrils of fire wrapped themselves around Y/N and pulled him against the bars of his cell.
"What's up with Belladonna, why'd he flatten himself against the cell like that?"
"I don't know but can you feel how hot it is in here? That's way beyond Menagerie temperatures!"
The two cops watched, unable to see the stand or its flames, only feel the effects.
Suddenly, a violet muscled ghost with flowing black hair and a red scarf appeared between Y/N and Magician's Red, forcing the two apart.
"OOORAA!"
"Aha! The spirit finally reveals itself. The fact it's so corporeal and solid looking means that it's incredibly powerful!" Ghira commented as he watched the stand appear.
The spirit then grabbed it's red counterpart by the throat.
"I can't believe he's able to manifest it so distinctly, well done." Avdol said, an imprint of the ghost's hand appearing on his neck in the same place.
"Mr Belladonna, when you asked me to bring your son out of his cell, I had planned on going easy on him, though in light of this tremendous strength, I'm reconsidering that. Tell me if you want me to stop, otherwise I'll resort to a use of force that could land your son in the hospital!"
Ghira folded his arms.
"Like I said, do what you have to do." He stated.
"Yes, Sir!" Avdol replied.
"Ghira! You can't be serious!" Kali looked over at Ghira in shock.
"Kali, let me finish what I started."
Kali glared but said nothing else.
The purple ghost started to vanish as Y/N struggled to breathe.
"The evil spirit is withdrawing.." Kali murmured.
"That's right, and now for the truth. This spirit is not evil at all, in fact it is a vision created from your own life energy and aura! A rare form of semblance that will always be at your side and because of that, we call it..
...A STAND!"
"Remember Asop's fable, the cold made the traveller pull his coat tighter but the heat finally made him admit defeat. Ready to leave your cell now? Y/N?" Avdol asked with a small smirk.
"I told you, I'm staying, I keep hurting other people without realising I'm doing it. Until that stops, I'm staying right here. It's nice to meet someone else, but if you keep this up? You'll die!"
Kicking a table backward and smashing the toilet in the cell, the purple 'stand' created a large fountain of water that extinguished the flames holding Y/N against the cell. Ignoring the cries from the police officers about destruction of property, the stand then tore open the cell bars as easily as if they were made of paper and pulled two of them off, now wielding two blades.
Avdol turned away from Y/N, stand withdrawing.
"What the hell? Why'd you suddenly turn your back on me?"
"Mr Belladonna, the boy has left his cell, I've accomplished what you asked me to do, right?"
A nod from Ghira as Avdol sat down.
"And what if I had kept going with these metal bars?" Y/N asked, holding up one of the bars as his stand withdrew into him again before tossing it aside.
"Do not underestimate Magician's Red. I did have every intention of sending you to the hospital but you're stronger than I expected, my stand could have easily melted that bar in mid air before it reached me."
"The power Avdol has is exactly the same as yours, if you want to know more, you'll have to come with us." Ghira stated before glancing over at him.
Y/N sighed before eventually nodding in agreement.
"Let me finish what I started..?" Came a cool tone from behind Ghira who sweatdropped.
"Uh...did I say that?" Ghira slowly turned around to face his furious wife.
"You're in a lot of trouble, Ghira Belladona!"
