(Y/N)'s prov

  "I'm engaged to the most wonderful man on earth, and I'm carrying his baby. I couldn't be happier" I thought as I began to wake on top of my fiancé as I was sleeping on top of his warm chest.

"Morning beautiful lady," Tom whispered as he pressed a kiss to the top of my head. I giggled, turned over on my back and Tom leaned over me.

"And good morning to you too." He said as he kissed just below my abdomen. "Daddy loves you."

"Tommy you are too cute."

"So are you (y/n)." He said back with a smile.

"Well, I'm done with school now, and I guess I won't be starting to work for a while............would you say home with me, please........this is our first baby and......I'm kinda nervous and-" Tom gave me a sympathetic smile.

"I know you are. And so am I, I do have to go to work today. But, I want you to come with me, you can stay at the chapple if I go out on a case."

"Do you think Fuller would be ok with me being there?" I asked.

"I'm sure of it."

(Time skip to Fuller's office)

Tom's prov

"I don't know Hanson, a pregnant woman, here, what would happen if you go out on a case, what would she do?"

"Well, sir, I figured that she could stay in one of the spare rooms we're not using, I know that one of them has a bed with some chairs in it..........I just want her to be safe." I said as I looked at the floor as thoughts of (y/n) and the baby getting hurt while I was not around flooded my mind.

"I understand, I know how much you care about her. And being a father myself I can relate.............she can stay here."

"Thank you, sir." I said as I shook his hand, I walked out of the office to where (y/n) was waiting for me. 

"So what did he say?" 

"He said that you can stay here with me while I'm here." I said as I held her hands in mine. I led her to the spare room where she could rest. 

"Thank you so much Tommy, I'm really glad I can be close to you." (y/n) said as she pressed a light kiss to my lips, I kissed back. I led her over to the bed and helped her lay down, then I cleaned up the room a bit making sure there was no dust to bother her. When I looked over at (y/n) again she was just about asleep. I came over by her and sat down on the bed. 

"Hey, I'm gonna get to work now ok? You rest baby girl, I love you." I pressed a kiss to her four head and gently shut the door.

"So, who's the girl Hanson?" Dennis asked me with a sly look on her face. 

"For your information, she is my fiance, and may God have mercy if you ever so much as lay a finger on her." I warned him as I took my place at my desk. 

"Hey, no need to get all defensive on me........so, why is she here anyways?" 

"That is non of your business." I said back not even looking up from my paperwork. It's no secret that I have never trusted Dennis, I don't know why but there's just something about him that never sat right with me. Whenever he is around I always feel like something bad might happen, I'm sure some of it is just my paranoia, but you can never be too careful. 

(y/n)'s prov 

   After I woke up from my nap I walked around the little room that Tom had for me, he's such a sweetheart and I am more than glad that he wants to keep me safe. A few moments later I hear a soft knock at the door. 

"Hello?" I answer back through the door. 

"Hi, (y/n), its me Judy, I was wondering you would like some female companionship." 

"Sure, please come in." I said as I opened the door and she walked in. 

"How have you been girl? You must be so excited with all that's been going on." She said happily as we sat down on the bed. I'll admit it was nice to have a fellow woman at my side. 

"I am, gosh, I never thought all this would happen to me, being in love, being engaged, being pregnant, being happy." I said wistfully. 

"You deserve it (y/n), you've been through so much. Tom is a wonderful man, I just know you'll be a happy family and I am so excited for you." She said kindly. 

"Thank you Judy.......Judy, if I may ask......who is that guy, with the desk next to Tom's?" 

"That's Dennis, why?" 

"Oh......its just that....I saw him looking at me earlier, he looked me up and down with what looked like lust......I'm sure its nothing.....forget I said anything." I said as I looked at the floor. 

"No, no, its ok (y/n), I'm glad you told me, Tom doesn't like him either, I'll keep an eye on him, don't you worry we'll keep you safe, and if you feel unsafe at any time please come to me or any other officer here, it is my job after all." Judy said in a concerned yet friendly tone. 

"Thank you, I will."

Tom's prov 

   I really enjoyed having (y/n) at work with me now, and I was glad she liked it too. (y/n) would often be chatting with Judy or some of the other guys, I was happy to see that she had made some friends. Whenever I was on break I would nap with (y/n), sometimes we would even have sex, but we had to be pretty careful to keep the noise down. None of this diminished how I felt about Dennis being around, especially now that I know (y/n) does not like him either.

"Hey princess, how was your nap?" I said as (y/n) was just waking up from her third nap of the day, I had been able to nap with her this time. 

"Great, so how do I look? 14 weeks already." (y/n) said as she stood up and lifted her shirt up to expose her tiny baby bump. 

"You look beautiful darling, and you are growing so fast, daddy loves you so much." I cooed as I bent down and pressed light kisses to her bump. 

"Gosh, I love you so much Tommy, you'll be such a great dad." (y/n) said as she ran her fingers through my hair. 

"And you will be a wonderful mom." I said back.

"Thanks love........I think I'll head to the restroom for a minute, I'll be right back." 

"Alright (y/n) I'll be here." 

   As (y/n) walked out of the room, I went back to my desk to sort some paperwork. A few minutes later I noticed that I hadn't seen Dennis in a while, alarms started to go off in my head and I started to panic a bit, that's when I heard it. 

"AHHHH TOMMY!" I heard my darling (y/n) shriek. I ran to the girl's bathroom and kicked the door in to see my feonce lying on the floor with her pants pulled down, curled up as she hid her face in her hands and cried. Dennis was looming over her with her pants pulled down to her knees, his pants and boxers pooled at his ankles.

  I felt a mixture of rage and fear fill my body as I pummeled Dennis to the floor, punching his face over and over again till be blead.

"YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT I DO TO YOU!!!" I shouted as I continued to beat him senseless.

"HANSON! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?" Fuller shouted, I got off him and stood up.

"P-please don't be m-mad at him s-sir...." (y/n) stammered, I knelt back down next to her examining her bump.

"......Hobs, Penhall, cuff him." Fuller said in a calm voice as he looked over the scene. Judy and Doug came in and cuffed Dennis and led him over to the cell.

"(Y/n)........I-I-I'm so sorry......" I murmured as I felt tears run down my face.

"Shhhh.....Tommy.......I'm fine.....he didn't rape me.....he was close but.....he didn't get the chance thanks to you."

"Really?.....good.....that's good at least..........is the baby alright?" I asked as I ran my hands over her bump.

"Baby is just fine.......I'm a bit shaken though......can we go home?"

"Yes......let's go home love." I cleared everything with Fuller and I took (y/n) home, I was lucky that my boss said that I could be on paid leave for a while even after the baby was born.

We got back home and I laid her down on the bed and sat next to her.

"I'm so sorry (y/n)........I'm so sorry.....I brought you with me to keep you safe and......and......" I stammered as I felt absolutely awful that I let anything happen to her and the baby.

"Shhhh.....Tom...it wasn't your fault......it was out of your control........but...you did save me.....and thanks to you baby and me are just fine." (Y/n) said calmly as she placed her hand on my shoulder, I turned around to her and took her in my arms.

".......I know....and I'm glad your alright.....I swear I'll never let anything happen to you or our baby ever again.....I love you both so much."

"And we love you too Tommy." (Y/n) said as we shared a sweet kiss.
