After my quite chaotic weekend, I had to go back to work. But, today wasn't like most days. When I walked in, Sebastian was sitting where we normally sit, but something just didn't feel right.
There was some weird guy walking around the factory. He seemed to be examining us. And another weird thing. Our crazy boss was nowhere to be seen. Sebastian and I exchanged curious glances.
"Good morning," the man said "I'm sure you're all wondering who the heck this crazy guy we've never seen before is. Well, I'll tell you. My name is Carl. I'm your new boss."
Of course, this was a surprise to me. But it wasn't bad surprise. It was like waking up in Disney World on your birthday all by yourself free to do whatever you want. It was a good surprise. And how did we all react?
"YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!" Everyone in the factory got out of their seats and jumped for joy.
"BEST DAY EVER!" On of the workers shouted.
After we all calmed down, Carl spoke up.
"Wow," he said "I did not expect you all to be so excited."
Sebastian raised his hand as if he were a child in school.
"Yes?" Carl called on him.
"Um," Sebastian started "You obviously know that we're happy you're here. But, what happened to our old boss?"
"Apparently, he found a chocolate piece of cereal in a box that was only supposed to be peanut butter pieces. I really don't know much about it, but I heard it drove him insane."
Woah.
That was me!!! I'm the reason we no longer have that crazy guy as our boss!
I better get a raise for this.
