"Are you two ready to go?" Joe calls upstairs to Jill, who is in Jacob's nursery getting him dressed and ready for the State of the Union.

"We are coming! We are dressed and ready now!" Jill yells back to Joe as she smiles at Jacob and Jacob babbles.

"Are you ready for Daddy's big speech? Are you ready for Daddy's first ever State of the Union?" Jill asks Jacob in a babyfied tone causing Jacob to babble loudly.

"Ba baaaaa! Ba baaa!" Jacob says as he flaps his arms happily, trying to clap.

"Yeah! Let's go! We gotta go bye byes!" Jill says as she and Jacob leave his nursery and go downstairs. 

Downstairs, Major and Commander are chasing each other around the living room while Joe is petting Willow. 

"You are a good girl, Willow. Yes, you are." Joe says causing Willow to purr happily.

"Baaaaaa!" Jacob yells causing Joe to chuckle and smile.

"There's my little guy and my beautiful wife. God honey you look gorgeous." Joe says as he softly kisses Jacob's forehead before tenderly kisses Jill twice.

Joe, Jill and Jacob's SOTU outfits*

"You look very handsome yourself, honey. Blue looks so hot on you." Jill says as she rubs Joe's chest and Joe smirks.

"I can't wait to have some fun tonight, my love." Joe says, smirking at Jill as he squeezes her butt check and kisses her again.

"Mmm, well, if you are a good boy and pull off a fantastic speech, I'll spoil you rotten with fun tonight, Daddy." Jill whispers seductively to Joe and Joe blushes.

"Ba ba ba!" Jacob yells happily, causing Jill and Joe to both chuckle and smile.

"I see you! You look very handsome in your little suit and hat!" Joe says as Jill hands Jacob to him.

"Don't you love his hat? It's my favorite part of the outfit!" Jill says as she chuckles and smiles.

"Isn't Devi wearing the same thing?" Joe asks Jacob as Jacob plays with Joe's tie.

"Yes, except his outfit is brown just like Kamala's dress she will be wearing tonight." Jill says with a big grin.

"Are you ready to go bye byes? Are you ready to go?" Joe asks Jacob as Jacob babbles happily.

"Okay! Let's go!" Jill says as she smiles at Joe and Jacob.

"Commander! Major! Willow! Be good you three!" Joe says to the Biden family pets as he, Jacob and Jill leave the residence.

Joe, Jill and Jacob all leave the White House and walk over to their car. The press takes many pictures and Joe tries to cover Jacob's eyes so the flashes don't bother him.

Joe, Jill and Jacob all load up in their car and the Presidential motorcade heads to the Capitol, which is just a few minute drive from the White House.

Once Joe, Jacob and Jill are at the Capitol, they meet up with Kamala, Devi and Doug inside!

*Kamala, Devi and Doug's SOTU outfits*

"Hey hey hey!" Jill says as she walks over to Doug, Kamala and Devi.

Jill hugs both Kamala and Doug before she gives Devi lots of kisses.

"Hi, handsome! Hi, baby boy! You look so precious in your little outfit! Where is your hat?" Jill asks Devi as Devi babbles at her.

"He won't keep it on! It's been a struggle all night so far." Doug says as he giggles loudly.

"Luckily, Jacob keeps his hat on! He loves hats." Jill says with a smile.

Joe than walks over with Jacob after talking to the police officers, thanking them for what they do every single day.

"Aw! You guys' outfits are all coordinated and it looks so cute! We were almost coordinated, Doug didn't get the memo to wear brown!" Kamala says playfully, causing Jill and Joe to both chuckle.

"Hi, Jakey! Hi, baby! You look so precious!" Kamala says, kissing Jacob's cheeks.

Jacob babbles happily at Kamala and Doug and Devi babbles back at Jacob.

"They are talking to each other!" Joe says as he smiles at both boys before kissing them.

Joe, Jacob, Jill, Doug, Devi and Kamala all stand together and talk for a while before it's time for Joe and Kamala to get ready.

"I'll see you soon, sweety. You are going to do amazing out there! Go get 'em!" Jill says to Joe as she manages to fix his tie and rubs his chest, causing Joe to smile.

"Thank you, Jilly. I love you so much. Thank you for everything." Joe says to Jill, kissing her softly with Jill softly kissing him back.

"I love you too and you are very welcome! Get finishing getting ready for your big speech, Daddy. Right, Jakey? Doesn't Daddy need to get ready?" Jill says to Jacob and Jacob happily babbles.

"I'll gotta ready, Jakey! Be a good boy for Mommy, okay?" Joe says to Jacob while giving his forehead a kiss. and Jacob happily babbles at Joe.

"And Devi, you be a good boy for Daddy, okay?" Joe says to Devi, giving Devi a kiss and Devi happily babbles at Joe.

"Tell Pop, you got this! You got it, Pop! Go get 'em!" Kamala says to Devi and Devi babbles loudly.

Joe smiles at Jill, Jacob, Devi, Jamal and Doug before giving Jacob and Jill one more kiss before going to the waiting room where he will stay before the speech.

As Joe walks to his waiting room, Jill, Jacob, Doug, Kamala and Devi all walk into the house of representatives chamber which is in the Capitol! Joe will be coming in about fifteen or so minutes!

Members of the house and senate are all mingling and chit chatting around the chamber, also the Supreme Court justices and members of Joe's cabinet are there.

Kamala softly kisses Devi, Doug and Jacob before she goes where she has to sit with Nancy Pelosi, which is behind where Joe will speak tonight.

"Let's go find our seats and sit, boys!" Doug says with a cheeky smile at Devi and Jacob.

Devi and Jacob both giggle and smile at Doug and Jill smiles at Doug too.

"Let's get ready for Daddy and Pop's big speech! Let's go!" Jill says in a babyfied voice at the boys, causing them to both babble happily.

Once up at their seats, Jill and Doug make sure the boys aren't hungry or fussy before they begin to greet all of the guests that will sit with them!

Jill and Doug both happily greets all of the special guests that Jill invited to come to the State of The Union!

Jill invited Joe's sister Valerie Biden Owens, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Oksana Markarova!

Jill also invited regular ole Americans and they were - Joseph "JoJo" Burgess, Joshua Davis, Refynd Duro, Patrick "Pat" Gelsinger, Frances Haugen, Melissa Isaac, Danielle Robinson and Kezia Rodriguez!

After greeting everyone, Jill, Jacob, Doug and Devi all begin to talk and catch up with Valerie.

"Hi, Jakey! Hi! You look so handsome!" Val says as she kisses Jacob's cheeks, causing Jacob to babble and smile at her.

"Aww, is that Aunt Val? Is that Aunt Val, Jakey? Aww! She loves you!" Jill says in a babyfied voice, causing Jacob to babble.

"And hi, Devi! You look so handsome too!" Val says as she also kisses Devi's cheeks, causing Devi to babble happily.

"He won't keep his hat on! He keeps throwing it!" Doug says with a giggle.

"That's okay! He doesn't need it! Right, Devi? You don't need that hat!" Val says as Devi giggles and babbles happily.

"They will probably sleep during the speech!" Doug says to Jill and Jill nods.

"I think they will too! Jacob didn't take a good nap earlier.

"Devi took a nap but it was a small one!" Doug says as Devi happily gnaws on a teether while Jacob plays with Jill's long necklace she has on.

"Members of Congress, I have the high privilege and distinct honor of presenting to you the president of the United States, Joesph Robinette Biden Jr!" The announcer says, causing everybody to cheer loudly as Joe walks into the chambers and towards the podium.

"Madam Speaker, Madam Vice President, and our First Lady and Second Gentleman, our two little guys, members of Congress and the Cabinet, Justices of the Supreme Court, my fellow Americans: Last year, COVID-19 kept us apart. This year, we're finally together again.

Tonight — tonight we meet as Democrats, Republicans, and independents, but, most importantly, as Americans with a duty to one another, to America, to the American people, and to the Constitution, and an unwavering resolve that freedom will always triumph over tyranny.

• UKRAINE

Six days ago, Russia's Vladimir Putin sought to shake the very foundations of the free world, thinking he could make it bend to his menacing ways. But he badly miscalculated. He thought he could roll into Ukraine and the world would roll over. Instead, he met with a wall of strength he never anticipated or imagined. He met the Ukrainian people."

From President Zelenskyy to every Ukrainian, their fearlessness, their courage, their determination literally inspires the world. Groups of citizens blocking tanks with their bodies. Everyone from students to retirees, to teachers turned soldiers defending their homeland.

"And in this struggle — President Zelenskyy said in his speech to the European Parliament, "Light will win over darkness."

The Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States is here tonight sitting with the First Lady. Let each of us, if you're able to stand, stand and send an unmistakable signal to the world and Ukraine. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

She's bright, she's strong, and she's resolved.

Yes. We, the United States of America, stand with the Ukrainian people."

Jill, Jacob, Devi and Doug all happily smile and hug Oksana Markarova, the Ukrainian Ambassador causing everyone to smile.

• RUSSIA OLIGARCHS

Tonight, I say to the Russian oligarchs and the corrupt leaders who've bilked billions of dollars off this violent regime: No more.

The United States — I mean it. The United States Department of Justice is assembling a dedicated task force to go after the crimes of the Russian oligarchs.

We're joining with European Allies to find and seize their yachts, their luxury apartments, their private jets. We're coming for your ill-begotten gains.

• AID TO UKRAINE

"The Russian economy is reeling, and Putin alone is the one to blame.

Together with our Allies, we're providing support to the Ukrainians in their fight for freedom: military assistance, economic assistance, humanitarian assistance. We're giving more than a billion dollars in direct assistance to Ukraine. And we'll continue to aid the Ukrainian people as they defend their country and help ease their suffering.

But let me be clear: Our forces are not engaged and will not engage in the conflict with Russian forces in Ukraine. Our forces are not going to Europe to fight in Ukraine but to defend our NATO Allies in the event that Putin decides to keep moving west.

For that purpose, we have mobilized American ground forces, air squadrons, ship deployments to protect NATO countries, including Poland, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

And as I've made crystal clear, the United States and our Allies will defend every inch of territory that is NATO territory with the full force of our collective power — every single inch.

And we're clear-eyed. The Ukrainians are fighting back with pure courage. But the next few days, weeks, and months will be hard on them."

• PUTIN'S WAR

"When the history of this era is written, Putin's war on Ukraine will have left Russia weaker and the rest of the world stronger.

While it shouldn't and while it shouldn't have taken something so terrible for people around the world to see what's at stake, now everyone sees it clearly.

We see the unity among leaders of nations, a more unified Europe, a more unified West.

We see unity among the people who are gathering in cities in large crowds around the world, even in Russia, to demonstrate their support for the people of Ukraine.

In the battle between democracy and autocracies, democracies are rising to the moment and the world is clearly choosing the side of peace and security.

This is the real test, and it's going to take time. So, let us continue to draw inspiration from the iron will of the Ukrainian people.

To our fellow Ukrainian Americans who forged a deep bond that connects our two nations: We stand with you. We stand with you."

Joe continues his State of the Union speech by talking about the American Rescue Plan, the Economic Progress Report, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, highways, the Bipartisan Innovation Act, inflation and building a better America.

• COST OF INSULIN

"Just look at insulin. One in ten Americans has diabetes. In Virginia, I met a 13-year-old boy — the handsome young man standing up there, Joshua Davis. He and his dad both have Type 1 diabetes, which means they need insulin every single day."

"Insulin costs about $10 a vial to make. That's what it costs the — the pharmaceutical company. But drug companies charge families like Joshua and his dad up to 30 times that amount.

I spoke with Joshua's mom. Imagine what it's like to look at your child who needs insulin to stay healthy and have no idea how in God's name you're going to be able to pay for it — what it does to your family, but what it does to your dignity, your ability to look your child in the eye, to be the parent you expect yourself to be. I really mean it. Think about that. That's what I think about.

You know, yesterday — Joshua is here tonight, but yesterday was his birthday. Happy birthday, buddy, by the way."

Joe continues his State of the Union speech by talking about energy efficiency, cost of childcare, pandemic fraud, the Paycheck Fairness Act, Covid 19 and Covid tests.

• COVID 19 RESET

"Let's use this moment to reset. So, stop looking at COVID as a partisan dividing line. See it for what it is: a God-awful disease.

Let's stop sending — seeing each other as enemies and start seeing each other for who we are: fellow Americans.

Look we can't change how divided we've been. That was a long time in coming. But we can change how to move forward on COVID-19 and other issues that we must face together."

Jacob and Devi begin to get a little restless, tired and bored and they begin to fuss a little. After all, they are only almost seven month olds and it is past their bedtime.

Luckily, Jill and Doug calm both of the boys down for now and for hopefully the rest of the speech.

Joe continues strongly with his State of the Union speech by talking about crime prevention, gun violence and Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

"As I did four days ago, I've nominated a Circuit Court of Appeals — Ketanji Brown Jackson. Joe continues his State of the Union speech by talking about Roe V Wade, Bipartisan Equality Act, his Unity Agenda and Social Media platforms.

As Joe gets ready to talk about veterans, Devi and Jacob both begin to cry loudly.

Jill and Doug desperately try to calm the boys down but they both sadly fail.

All of the guests awe loudly, some frown and even some get a little annoyed hearing the two babies cry.

"Well, this wasn't apart of the speech tonight. However, you can't plan a lot with a baby, let alone two babies!" Joe says with a chuckle.

"Devi must want his Mama, he is a Mama's boy and I think Jacob is just done for the night. It is past both of their bedtimes. Jilly, Doug, bring the boys down." Joe says as he continues his speech without a hitch talking about veterans.

Jill and Doug hand Devi and Jacob to two of their Secret Service agents and the agents and the boys come to the floor.

Jacob is still crying while Devi has calmed down some.

"The stars of the show I'm sure! Come to Daddy and Pop!" Joe says as he manages to hold both Devi and Jacob.

"Shhh shh, it's okay! It's okay! Look! Look at everybody!" Joe says to Jacob as he slowly calms down and looks around.

Meanwhile Devi is trying to take his hat off once again but this time fails.

"Uh oh! Don't take your hat off, it's so nice on you! As you can see, the First Lady and the Vice President decided to coordinate the boys outfits tonight. Jacob loves hats while Devi hates them." Joe says with a chuckle as he kisses Jacob and Devi.

Devi than finally grabs his hat and throws it, causing everybody to laugh loudly.

"Folks. It seems that Devi is like my granddaughter, Bonny. She's anti-bow and now he's anti-hat." Joe says as he smiles at Devi and Devi babbles.

Devi looks at his Mama and puts his arms out, really wanting to be with her. Meanwhile, Jacob puts his head on Joe's shoulder.

"Here's Mama, Devi. There's your Mama." Joe says, handing Devi to Kamala and Kamala holds Devi close to her as she sits back down.

Joe smiles down at Jacob and kisses his cheek, causing everyone to awe and smile.

Devi tries to grab at Nancy gravel but Kamala quickly stops him, causing everyone to chuckle loudly.

"No no, sweety. Don't touch that. That's Auntie Nancy's." Kamala says as Devi babbles loudly in protest causing everyone to chuckle again.

Joe and Jacob both watch Devi and Joe chuckles.

"That's my youngest grandson, folks! I love him very much and I love my little guy right here." Joe says as he looks down at Jacob and Jacob babbles into the microphone.

"After President Biden is done speaking, I'll let you have it for a bit. Is that a deal, Devi?" Nancy says to Devi and Devi smiles.

Once the boys are settled in and calmed down, Joe returns back to his State of The Union speech.

"Now where we're we? Ah, Cancer Moonshot!" Joe says with a chuckle as he finds where he left off.

And fourth and last, let's end cancer as we know it. This is personal. This is personal to me and to Jill and to Kamala and so many of you. So many of you have lost someone you love — husband, wife, son, daughter, mom, dad.

Cancer is the number-two cause of death in America, second only to heart disease.

Last month, I announced the plan to supercharge the Cancer Moonshot that President Obama asked me to lead six years ago.

Our goal is to cut cancer death rates by at least 50 percent over the next 25 years. And I think we can do better than that: turn cancers from death sentences into treatable diseases, more support for patients and families."

While Joe talks, Jacob grabs his arms out, wanting to be held by Nancy who he sees sitting behind his dad. Jacob gets frustrated and begins to fuss, causing to Joe to stop his speech once again.

"What's the matter? What's wrong? Oh, you want to be with Aunt Nancy? Do you wanna sit with Aunt Nancy? Here, go ahead! Go ahead, bud." Joe says handing Jacob to Nancy.

"Come to Aunt Nancy! It's okay, sweet boy. It's okay." Nancy says as she holds Jacob close and Jacob lays his head on Nancy's chest.

Devi holds onto Kamala's coat while is sucks on a pacifier with his eyes slowly closing.

"Jacob loves his Aunt Nancy. Oh, and he loves his Aunt Val too, who is up sitting with the First Lady and the Second Gentleman. I love you sis!" Joe says to Val causing her to giggle.

"To get there, I call on Congress to fund what I called ARPA-H: Advanced — Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. Patterned after DARPA in the Defense Department, projects that led — in DARPA — to the Internet, GPS, and so much more that make our forces more safer and be able to wage war more — with more clarity.

ARPA-H will have a singular purpose to drive breakthroughs in cancer, Alzheimer's, and diabetes, and more."

At this point of the speech, both Jacob and Devi are both fast asleep in Nancy and Kamala's laps. Their cuteness is very much loved, so much so that Devi Emhoff and Jacob Biden are trending on Twitter!

• THE STATE OF THE UNION

"So, on this night, on our 245th year as a nation, I've come to report on the state of the nation — the state of the union. And my report is this: The State of the Union is strong because you, the American people, are strong.

We are stronger today — we are stronger today than we were a year ago. And we'll be stronger a year from now than we are today.

This is our moment to meet and overcome the challenges of our time. And we will, as one people, one America — the United States of America.

God bless you all. And may God protect our troops. Thank you. Go get 'em."

After the end of the speech, everyone in the chamber happily claps their hands and cheers Joe on.

Joe than behind to greets everyone with a hand shake, a hug or a selfie.

Joe then takes a sleeping Jacob from Nancy's arms and he leaves the chamber with Jill, hiding her hand.

Doug comes down from where he was sitting and he help Kamala walk down from her seat as she holds a sleeping Devi in her arms.

Once at the White House, Doug, Kamala, Devi, Joe, Jill and Jacob all have a celebratory snack before they all head to bed for the night! :)
