After a few days Taehyung had decided to take Jungkook to the fair in the city. It was here every few months. Seeing how good Jungkook was recovering he thought it was time for him to have some fun in a different environment. Not in the safe circle with Taehyung and his friends.

"Do i...take something with me?'' Jungkook asked. He had never been to a fair before, he wasn't sure what to wear or what to bring with him.

"nothing, just your phone and some cash. It's just to have fun, you're not going to school or something" the older chuckled and fixed Jungkook's collar. He had put on a white button up with some black jeans.

"You didn't have to wear such a formal shirt Koo"

"but it's a date, of course i will wear it. I want to look good for you"

"You always look good to me! Whatever you wear "Taehyung smiled and gave the raven a quick peck on the lips before blushing and walking away shyly.

Behind him the raven had a big smile on his face. His heart felt so warm inside from the affection Taehyung was giving him these days. He had always dreamed about this. He never expected this to be real one day. To be with Taehyung, the flower boy he had been admiring from afar, too scared to talk to him. But now he was free, he had everything he could ever wish for.

After the walk to the fair location Jungkook was looking his eyes out. there was so much to see, his big eyes looked around like a child in a candy store.

"wooaaah. its so cool! the colors, the music wow!" jungkook smiled excitedly and hurried to the first stall he saw, it was a simple throwing ball game, you had to knock over the cans. It was a old well known game but for Jungkook this was new, he thought it was so cool. "can i play too?" he asked looking at taehyung.

"Of course" taehyung smiled and paid for a single game. The man of the stall handed Jungkook three seed-filled balls to throw.

"so, i just throw these?" the raven asked the man. the man nodded. Jungkook hummed and looked at the mother and kid next to him, observing how to do it. He saw the cans were heavier than they seem, noticing how they did not fall over then the ball of the kit hit them. "Okay so, power is key '' he mumbled to himself. The man looked at Jungkook curiously. He looked at how the raven grabbed one ball and raised his arm. taking a step back fixing his gaze on one of the cans. His arm bent back and he took the step forward swinging the ball with power at the cans. When the ball hit the bottom row they all tumbled over, clattering down on the ground.

"damn, talented" the man chuckled with a grin, he was impressed by the throw. "Want to go again?"

"definitely" Jungkook grinned. His skills seemed to be useful in daily lives too. it wasn't all for nothing. He could have fun with his trained moves.

he played for another three times getting one free from the man by how impressed he was. At the end he had a lot of points and could choose something from the stall.

"You have 240 points, you can choose from row one and two." the man explained, pointing to the things.

"okay, thank you" jungkook looked around, there were a lot of plushies to choose from. After a long scan he chose a brown fluffy bear. walking proudly to Taehyung with a big smile. "tae, look! so cute!"

"That's adorable," Taehyung said, talking about the bear but mostly about Jungkook. Seeing him so happy was so good to see.

"what else can we do? Can we ride that one? or maybe the big wheel over here. oh oh, and i want to buy some candy!"

"we will do everything you want" taehyung swung an arm around Jungkook seeing the raven smile even more.

"Thank you for taking me here."

"of course, im happy you are enjoying it so far"

"definitely!"

After a long day at the fair the two ran out of their cash and planned to go back. They were eating some food on the hand while sitting on a bench outside of the fair, away from the loud noise.

"What was the most fun?" Taehyung asked.

"Hmm, I think all those games," Jungkook said, glancing at the bag filled with plushies and childish toys he felt like taking.

"of course you did, you won kind of everything"

"you did too"

"only one, because you won it for me, i suck at those things. i can only do pull the rope game" taehyung said, that was the only game he would win because the game always had a present for you whenever you win or lose.

"I share my things, these are all yours too"

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook, lowering his hand. He had finished eating. The small box was empty, some sauce was left inside.

"Are you still hungry?" Jungkook asked, thinking that was why the other was staring at him. "Here" jungkook took the meatball stick and held it out to the older. feeding him one of the three.

"thanks" taehyung said after gulping the food down. a slight blush on his cheeks from the action of the other. He loved it, he could already imagine a romantic date with Jungkook and share a dessert, feeding him a strawberry. "I will throw this away." he said standing up and take the two empty boxes.

"i will wait here"

Taehyung walked away to the trash bin they passed just now a bit back in the street. when he threw them he heard footsteps behind him.

"hello there, you look like you're alone"

"Ah" taehyung was shocked by the sudden voice. He turned around quickly to see two guys stand there, they looked around his age. He was about to speak up but without warning he was pushed against the wall.

"Yes good one" a guy next to the other said, cheering on his friend who shoved Taehyung to the ground harshly.

"So weak are people, this is too easy"

"You assholes," Taehyung muttered and kicked the other in the balls making him bend over with a groan.

"bitch!" the guy shouted and grabbed taehyung's hair, punching him one time in the face, just once. because before he could land another his arm was grabbed by a strong grip that felt like it could break his bones.

"that...was a mistake you will regret" A low voice was in his ear. The guy yelped when he was pulled back and thrown to the ground.

"Jungkook '' Taehyung said, gaining his balance after the guy released his grip. He could see the raven stand there, towering over the guy he just threw on the ground. He looked so angry, it was scary. "Jungkook, its fine, let's go home okay"

"You are going to pay for what you've done, so stay still like a good boy and endure it" Jungkook's eyes darkened and he kicked the man in the stomach before grabbing his collar to lift him up. hits after hits hit his face, breaking his nose and bruising his skin.

"Jungkook stop, that's enough!" Taehyung shouted, grabbing Jungkook to get him of the other. But Jungkook didn't listen, he was too focused. "Jungkook!"

The raven halted his next hit and stared at the guy before his eyes widened and his hands began to shake. Jungkook dropped the guy who was immediately helped by the friend.

"I-..." jungkook said looking at the man then at taehyung who stood next to him. "i...i.." he saw blood splatters on his knuckles from breaking the man's nose. "I...i didnt.... i... can't"

"Its okay, i'm here.'' Taehyung held Jungkooks shaking hands in an attempt to comfort him. but it didn't work this time. Jungkook began to breathe faster and he pulled his hands back.

"I can't, I can't do this. I'm never free, I am still a monster. I cant Taehyung! I can't be normal like everyone else. i'm broken" Jungkook started crying and started walking away.

"Jungkook wait" taehyung wanted to chase after him but the raven ran away from him not letting him catch up. "Shit"
