"No! You got it wrong!" Fugo yelled pointing at Narancia's notebook. He looked like he was about to snap but quickly regained his composure. "Here how about we try a different question. What is 6 x 11?"

After a couple of seconds of writing and scribbling down work Narancia finally got an answer.

"I got it! It's 69!" he shouted looking at Fugo proudly. "I got it right didn't I Fugo?"

No response.

Slowly Fugo started reaching for the fork that was next to him. Gripping the handle he was a millisecond away from stabbing the boy until a soft hand was placed on top of his.

"Fugo take a break. I'll teach him" a voice softly said. The two turned to see none other than the glorious queen herself, (Y/N).

"I swear to god he's helpless" he mumbled getting up from his chair so you could sit.

"And I swear to god you're annoying" you shot back.

"Tch whatever. I wanna see you try to teach him. This will be fun to watch." he said leaning against a wall. You took the seat right in front of Narancia.

"Okay let's try this question." you said writing a problem in his notebook.

After a minute of thinking he finally had an answer.

"420!"

"Honey, I'm afraid that's wrong..." you started trying not to make him feel bad.

"Of course it is. I always mess up everything." he said with his voice barely audible.

"No you don't Narancia! You just need help." you explained.

"See (Y/N) I told you he was helpless." Fugo said smirking.

"Bite me Panacotta!" you seethed hugging Narancia protectively. Without realizing it you actually brought his face close to your chest. Very close.

"Shut up" he growled.

"Why don't you go somewhere where you're needed. Oh wait I forgot that was nowhere! So why don't you do us all a favor and get out!" you shouted. He gave you a death glare and proceeded to leave the room.

You realized the Narancia's face was still pressed to your chest and quickly pulled him off.

"Um sorry about that" you apologized.

"(Y/N) y-you didn't have to defend me you know"

"Yes I did. Nara you are one of my closest friends. I can't stand to see someone treat you like that!" you said.

"Let's try a different problem. Okay, what's 3 x 6?" you asked changing the subject. He quickly started writing in his notebook trying to find an answer. Once he got one he covered it with his arm.

"Well what did you get Nara?"

He blushed a tiny bit at the nickname you gave him but answered anyway.

"I-I probably got it wrong...." he whispered looking at the floor. You got up and took the seat next to him.

"Nara~" you cooed "even if you did get it wrong that's okay, I'm here to help you not scold you unlike someone we know." you said placing a hand on his shoulder. This action caused him to blush a light shade of red.

"O-Okay" he mumbled while removing his arm from the paper.

"Yes! You got it right!" you said giving him a small hug.

"Wait I did?"

"Yes you did!" you said letting go of him "Okay, okay try this one?" you said writing another problem in his book.

"Wait I think I know this one, is it 48?"

"Yes!" you cheered. "Okay try 5 x 6"

"Um........30?"

"Yes! It's 30!"

"Okay one more problem before calling it a day. What's 28 divided by 4?"

"I.....I don't know...."

"Come on I know you can do it. Here what times 4 is 28?" you asked hoping that it would make things easier for him,

"7?"

"Yes! Yes the answer is 7! You got it right!" you exclaimed. Then you grabbed his notebook and slammed it shut.

"Get up" you ordered. He looked at you confused.

"Why?"

"I'm taking you to get some gelato, unless you don't want some."

"Are you kidding me. What kind of sane person wouldn't want gelato!" he yelled. You let out a small giggle.

A Few Moments Later

Now you two were walking next to each other. There a small gelato shack nearby and it was nice out so you decided to walk.

"Man I love gelato" Narancia stated.

"Same here"

"I also love you" he mumbled.

"Sorry what was that?"

"NOTHING!" he screamed in your face. Looking at him confused you look at him weirdly.

"Nara is something wrong-"

"LET'S GO SIT OVER THERE!" He shouted dragging you to a bench. There was no one else nearby you felt comfortable asking him what's wrong.

"Nara are you okay? Please don't shun me out. I want to know what's wrong."

You put a hand on his shoulder. He turned away from you looking in the opposite direction.

"(Y/N) please don't-"

"Nara, talk to me, please"

Reluctantly he turned and faced you. Guilt filled his eyes. He softly grabbed you both of your hands and held them.

"(Y/N) I-I *sigh*. Look I like you....alot. You are so sweet and kind to me, I love the way you are so confident and I love how you always stick up for those you care about. I-I love you."
He paused to see your reaction.

You just sat there looking at him a little shocked and confused. He continued talking.

"I'm just an idiot who can't do anything right. You deserve the world but I can't give it to you. I know you don't feel the same. Please just let me down now so I won't feel more pain later."

Wow. He really just said all of that to you.

Without hesitation you grabbed the back of his head and smashed your lips onto his.

"Mmm!" He said while having his lips on yours. He tasted so sweet, so tender, so perfect.

You pulled back to look at his face. He stared at you with wide eyes.

"Did you mean that?" You.said looking away with a blush on your face.

"W-what?"

"What you said. Did you mean it?"

"Every single word."

He pulled you into another kiss this time making things a little heated.

Now you won't lie. He may be an idiot sometimes but now he was your idiot that you have to protect. And you wouldn't have it any other way.
