Prologue - A train to India

Malaysian countryside
December 1988

It was a sunny afternoon in Malaysia, the land was filled with palm trees, lush green mountains, and acres upon acres of rice fields filled with water, and by the fields were train tracks which stretch for miles. Just then, a blue sleeper train traveled past the fields at a decent speed, this train had multiple carts, one of them being a diner cart which is currently being used by our heroes: The Crusaders.

Which consist of a Frenchman with tall white hair named Jean Pierre Polnareff, an Egyptian fortune teller in red named Muhammad Avdol, a bearded old man from New York City named Joseph Joestar, a 17-year-old Japanese high-schooler in a green gakuran named Noriaki Kakyoin, and of course a 17-year-old Japanese delinquent dressed in a modified black gakuran named Jotaro Kujo, the hero of this journey.

They had just endured two fights with the agents of DIO in a single day, the first being the infamous hitman Devo the Cursed who had tried and failed to kill Polnareff in his hotel room with the doll possessing Stand: [Ebony Devil]. And the second being Rubber Soul who had disguised himself as their ally Kakyoin with [Yellow Temperance] in order to get close to Jotaro and kill him, but to no avail, and was forced to come clean about the identity of the two right-handed man who'd assaulted Polnareff's sister.

Hearing this discovery, Polnareff, while sitting at a table where Avdol and Joseph are, was looking out of the train's window and contemplated on the news regarding this mystery murderer. "Good grief." The Frenchman said, exasperated from the whole thing. "So, we're finally heading for India, huh?" He then turned to Jotaro, whose sitting at another table with Kakyoin and asked: "And the man with the two right hands is called... J.Geil...right?"

"..." Jotaro didn't answer, but his expression says all.

"By the way, where did Anne run off to?" Polnareff asked, recalling the young girl that was traveling along with them since their trip in Hong Kong and the China sea.

"She was hanging around Singapore station right before our train departed but..." Joseph answered, holding a glass of water.

"She vanished, remember? She came to Singapore to meet her father." Avdol answered, smiling. "I'm sure she found him."

"Yeah well that story about meeting up with her dad sounded pretty fishy to me, I bet she's a runaway." Polnareff said, also smiling, he then looked to Jotaro as he continued. "But, it is a bit lonely without that little rugrat... right, Jojo?"

"...Hm." Again, Jotaro didn't answer, but he did let out a small laugh and a smirk.

"...But that Stand earlier was pretty creepy." Kakyoin started. "Freaks me out that a Stand could disguise itself as me."

"...Y'know I've been thinking about it." Jotaro finally spoke up, recounting his interactions with the disguised Rubber Soul. "He must've transformed when I left the hotel."

"Jojo...those cherries are you gonna eat 'em?" Kakyoin suddenly ask, pointing at Jotaro's plate that has only two cherries left. "Not to be greedy, but they are my favorite...can I have one?"

"Yeah sure." Jotaro replied casually, prompting Kakyoin to grab one of the cherries.

"You're the best." He said as he eats a cherry...no, he starts rolling the cherry with his tongue going: "Rerorerorerorerorerorerorerorero..." while looking out the window, admiring the view.

"Tch..." Meanwhile Jotaro just looked at him with disgust on his face, the delinquent was hoping that the tongue and cherry thing was just a creepy quirk made up by Rubber Soul, but seeing the actual Kakyoin doing it not only means he might've met him while he was still DIO's brainwashed servant, but also means that Kakyoin has always been this weird.

"Hey look, Jojo! Flamingos in flight!" Kakyoin says happily while pointing outside, completely unaware of his friend's disturbed expression.

"...Oh, good grief." Was the only thing Jotaro could say, he was at a loss of words over the weirdness that he had just witnessed.

"Hey uh, Mr. Joestar." Just then a new voice chimed in, a young 19-year-old American boy with a lankey build, a diamond shaped face, fair skin, short medium blonde hair with side burns, and amber eyes, and is a 167 cm tall. He's also dressed in a white sailor uniform with blue stripes similar to the sailors that had served the Foundation, but were unfortunately killed by Forever's [Strength], he's the only one of the sailors to survive the ordeal.

"Oh hey, what is it, Jason?" Joseph said.

"I just called the Speedwagon Foundation and explained the situation to them, and what happened to the men that ape murdered in the China Sea... their families would be notified soon." The young man explained, trying to keep his composure, he was clearly shaken up by the incident.

"Good job kid... hey, have you notified your parents to?"

"Hm? Yeah, I told them that I was fine and I'm going to India, why?"

"Alright, at least they know where we're stopping at because you're heading straight for an airport as soon as we land."

"What!? Why!?" Jason exclaimed.

"Because this journey is too dangerous for people like you!" Joseph scolded him.

"But I want to come on this journey! I wanna help save your daughter to and defeat DIO to!" Jason seemed very adamant about this.

"We appreciate the help, Mr. Lennon, but we're dealing with people who possess very deadly abilities, and you don't have a Stand to defend yourself with." Avdol stepped in, he was very stern.

"B-but-"

"I'm sorry, but I happen to agree with Mr. Joestar. We can't risk losing any more innocent lives on this journey, and your parents will never forgive us if anything happens to you."

"Yeah, what he said." Joseph responded.

"...Mm..." Jason hanged his head in disappointment. "...Understood, Mr. Avdol." He then sat next to Polnareff.

"Hey, chin up, rookie." Polnareff said patting his back. "Maybe we'll treat you to an awesome Indian dinner before sending you back home."

"I... would like that, thank you, Mr. Polnareff." Jason said with a sad smile, he looked like he wanted to come along badly... in his mind however: "...Shit...I need to make this quick before I get sent back to America." He said to himself in a panicky tone.

But while this was going on, the Crusaders and Jason are unaware that they're being watched by someone who is sitting in another cart across from theirs, sitting there was a young 19-year-old Irish American girl with a mahogany red bob-cut, a round face, thin pale-orange lips, pale skin, a slim physique, 160 cm tall, and fern green eyes. She's also wearing a black baseball cap with a orange San Francisco Giants logo on it, a light purple hoodie with dark purple cuffs and exposes her shoulders, a black crop-top with white lining, a red belt, bluish-lilac jeans with rolled up legs, light purple socks that matches her hoodie, and almond colored high-top sneakers.

This strange girl was staring at the men under her cap, scanning each of them intensely, seeing Polnareff and Kakyoin somehow made the girl feel disappointed and sad before stopping at Jason, just seeing the boy makes her face heat up and her chest ache, not in infatuation, but in pure rage... for you see, the girl had a score to settle with him.
