Elizabeth Dwyer. Is a 19yrs old girl. She was left by her dad at the age of 10. She was adopted by her kind hearted aunt and she is now living with them. Lizzie has a sister named Maddie. More of had. Her sister died in a car crash including her mom.

And now. Lizzie is suffering depression. As most teens do. Usually people start it at 13 or older. It's part of growing up. But she's been depressed ever since. She wouldn't talk to anyone. And if she did, she would whisper. She was never social and never liked interacting with kids nor teens.

For 9years. She's been living the same way. She's still in college. Still depressed. And has no friends. But what if all of that changes.

"Elizabeth Dwyer?" A raspy voice shouted. Everyone looked around and a faint voice at the back of the class whispered. "Present." Everyone looked at her disgusted for she was wearing emo clothes. With some tattoos and a nose ring.

No one dared to sit next to her. Except for a young lad who was late. And had no where else to sit. This fine looking lad. Apologized for being late and ran to the back of the class. Since he had no where else to stay. He sat down and took out his text books and pen.

Half time of the class. He has been staring at Lizzie. And Lizzie has noticed. At the end of the class both of them were the only ones left. So the young lad decided to make a move. "Hello. Miss. I'm Joel Bernard. And What's your name?" Joel the young man asked.

Lizzie turned around and said emotionless. "I'm Elizabeth Dwyer. Now I need to get going." She says and gets her bag. As she goes to her next subject.
"Wait! You left your notebook!" But Lizzie didn't listen since she was hurriedly walking away.

Lunch time came and Lizzie got an apple with milk and a sandwich. She sat alone at the back of the canteen. Away from any interaction at all. Well that's what she thought. Joel saw her and he decided to sit with her. "Mind if I join you?" Joel asked smiling.

"Do you really wanna sit with the emo of the school. With the one that has no worth at all. With the one that has problems. Do you really want that? Or are you just using me to get close to me and break me even more than I already am broken and dead." She asked whisper-shouting at his face.

She left the canteen teary-eyed. Running and crying. Broken. Desperate for a way out of this shitty situation. But nothing is working. Joel on the other hand. Sighs and sits down on the table. He punches the table with his hand. Making a huge mess. Which brings all attention to him.

He rubs the back of his neck as everyone looks at him. And he gets his things and leaves to class.

"I just need to drink a little bit more. This is the only way." Lizzie says taking some pills out of her bag and drinking them without any care. She gets a small blade out and starts cutting. After watching all of her blood drip out. She started to wash it off and cover it with band aids.

She hurriedly cleaned up the place and left the bathroom light headed. Not even a minute later. She already has fainted by the door of girl's bathroom.

Soon she wakes up to the bright light of white walls. And a girl wearing white clothes. "Am I in heaven?" Lizzie asks groggily. The middle-aged woman giggles. "You're in the Nurse's office honey." She says sweetly. "W-who brought me here?" Lizzie asks squinting her eyes.

"A young lad. I don't know his name. But he's outside waiting for you." The nurse said. "Can I see him?" Lizzie asked. "Sure. I'll call him in." The nurse smiled and left the room. Minutes later a young lad with brown hair and brown eyes came in the room. He was inches taller than Lizzie.

And his fashion sense was very old fashioned and classy. "Hi. Elizabeth Dwyer." The young man smiled and kissed her hand. "I saw you fainted by the girl's bathroom. Decided to help you out and check if you were still living." The guy chuckled.

Lizzie smiled. "Y-you can call me Lizzie. And thank you. I was very light headed that time. What's your name?" Lizzie asked looking up. Which makes both of their eyes meet. "I'm Joel. Nice to meet you. You have beautiful eyes. If I do say so myself." He says smiling.

She blushes light pink. "T-thanks. Nice to meet you too." Lizzie says. "Excuse me. Elizabeth Dwyer?" The nurse says which makes both of them look at her. "You may now go home. I gave an excuse letter to your teacher. So you're excused." The nurse smiles.

"Thank you, Miss." The nurse nods as response as she leaves the room. Lizzie stands up and immediately falls. But Joel catches her right on time. "Woah. Be careful there." He says smiling and helping her up. "Thanks." Lizzie says. Joel nods." You're welcome. Mind if I walk you home?" He asks.

"That'd be great. But you still have class." Lizzie says tying her hair and doing her shoe laces. "It's okay. I'll be absent. I want to catch up with you more." Lizzie nods as both of them start walking home.

"Good bye Dwyer! I had a great time walking and talking. You're an amazing person!" Joel says as Lizzie walks in their front yard. "Thanks Bernard. You're a great person too. I'll see you tomorrow at school. Thank you again!" Lizzie says while waving good bye and getting in the house.

As she gets in she sees a note on the small coffee table. "Note: We all left for an emergency. There's food in the fridge. We'll be back either tomorrow or the next day. I'm really sorry I didn't get to tell you sooner. -Auntie EllieXoxo."
"Seems like I'm alone for the night." Lizzie says as she goes up to her room.

And starts to watch youtube. She plays some minecraft and does all of her assignments. At the end of the night. She takes more pills and changes into her pajamas. She then sleep and gets enough energy for the next day.

"Hey Lizzie!" Joel shouts as he gets near her. They both exchange bright smiles and walk to their class. "Aren't you bothered with all the people looking at you. Because you're friends with me?" Lizzie asks worriedly. "Nope. I'm okay with it." He then puts his hand over her shoulder.

"Beside. You're my only friend. I mean. Best friend." Joel says as both of them look at each other and smile. They arrive at the classroom and wait for the teacher. They keep on chatting about anything they could think of. Then Youtube and Games came in the picture.

"Hey. Do you have a Youtube channel?" Joel asked Lizzie hoping for a nice reaction. She then nods. " I actually do. The name's LdShadowlady." She smiles. "Cool! I have one too. The name's Smallishbeans." Joel says smiling. "Okay. Uhm. Can I have your number? So I can text you." Lizzie asks.

As Joel nods." Sure. Here it is." Joel gives a small paper and Lizzie takes it. "Thanks. I'll just message you tonight saying if it is me." She says standing up. As the bell rings. "See you around. I guess." Joel smiles and gives Lizzie a friendly hug. As she hugs back. And blushes.

They both pull away with red tints on their face. "Y-yeah. See you around." Lizzie smiles and leaves the room.

-Months Passed-

Months passed. Lizzie and Joel became even more closer. They made collab videos and always were there for each other no matter what. Sadly the school year was coming to an end. And they had to separate because of Joel going to a new school. And Lizzie being left behind.

Lizzie knew about that but she was okay with it. Lizzie stopped all the cutting and over dosing. Since Joel knew about it and told her Aunt and other family members. And Lizzie isn't the snob or emo of the school anymore. She has changed for the better.

Everything is and was going well.

"Hey Dwyer." Joel said happily while hugging Lizzie. "Hey Bernard. Wassup?" She asked looking up. Making their eyes meet. "You're short." Joel snorts and chuckles. While Lizzie giggles. "If that's the only thing you're gonna tell me then get away." Lizzie says rolling her eyes.

"I'm kidding. I'm kidding sheesh. So It's almost the end of the year. And I want to ask this girl out. To prom. But I'm afraid. And I don't know what to do. Since you're a girl. Maybe you'd know a thing or two?" Joel asked smiling with puppy eyes.

"Sure. I can help. What does this girl like?" Lizzie asks. "Well. She likes Movies and Music. She Loves Video games. She loves Cats. And is obsessed with the color pink." Joel says not making it too clear.

"Well then. How about this. Show up at the front of her house. Sing for her a song or two. When she goes downstairs. You go near her and gives her the pink roses or just a pink bouquet with pink flowers. And you put a video game in there. Any game she loves since she likes cats. Put some whiskers or cat ears on." Lizzie says smiling and giggling.

"That's perfect! What would I do without you?!" Joel says hugging Lizzie. "Now I need to go. Bye see ya." Joel says hurriedly leaving. "Mkay. Bye!" Lizzie smiles and goes to her class.

"Welp. I'm back home. Lazy stupid day. I'm bored. I should play some video games." Lizzie says while going to her room and playing some video games. She also changes into a white long sleeved crop top. With some high waisted shorts.

She played some video games when she heard an instrument playing at her front door. She went outside and saw Joel. Right on her front yard. Singing to her.

When the song ended. Lizzie was crying and they were as close as ever. When Joel decided to take the leap of faith and kiss Lizzie. He went for the kiss and both of them stood there. Kissing. Like they were the only people alive. It was like forever until they pulled away.

Joel then got on one knee and asked Lizzie. "Will you be my date to prom?" Lizzie was shocked. And nodded. She just nodded and hugged Joel. Both of them were so happy. Joel then gave Lizzie the pink Roses. And he was wearing the cat ears and whiskers.

"You look adorable btw." Lizzie said giggling. While kissing his cheek. "Thanks. Did you like my surprise?" Joel asked happily. "I sure did. It's the best thing anyone has ever done for me." They then shared a passionate kiss.

"Prom was actually very fun. I never really liked partying. But with you. It was amazing." Lizzie said. Hugging Joel. While they were walking home. "Yup. That probably was the best party, I've been to. Thanks Lizzie." Joel said kissing her head. "No. Thank you Joel."

"Cause ever since you came into my life. Everything changed. I've never felt better. I'm finally out of the darkness. I thank you for everything. YOU ARE MY SAVIOR. And I love you. I love you so much. Thank you." Lizzie said. Tearing up.

"You're welcome Lizzie. I love you so so much too. Actually. My family decided that. We're staying in England. For college." Joel said smiling. While stopping in his tracks to look at Lizzie's reaction. Lizzie stops and looks at him with a serious face. "Stop fooling me." Lizzie giggled.

"I'm not. I'm literally saying the truth. I'm staying here for College." Joel said happily. Lizzie's eyes widened. As she ran to Joel and hugged him. "You're not joking?!" Lizzie asked tearing up. "I'm not kidding. I get to stay here. Until both of us finish college."

"THATS AMAZING! Omygod." Lizzie says happily as she kisses Joel. They both kiss. And live happily ever after.
