"Come on! You need to 'ketchup' you loser! Get it?" came the taunting voice of the girl in front of Twyla, the cafeteria bursting into laughter.

Twyla looked down at her bright white blouse that was now stained with ketchup. She knew that her first day at a new school would suck, but she didn't know it'd be this bad. Reaching for her tray to try and grab some napkins without looking up, she ended up hitting the edge of it with her hand, causing the remnants to fly off the tray and stick to the ketchup. She was now a crude collage of everything she didn't get a chance to eat. The scene only caused the laughter to grow in intensity.

"Do none of you have anything better to do?" came a voice then, causing Twyla to look up at the man that was walking towards her. 

Everyone seemed to take a collective deep breath as the young man walked towards Twyla. Everything about the man seemed pristine from head to toe. The orangey pink color of his hair caught the lights overhead as he walked to stand in front of Twyla. He didn't say anything as he wrapped his hand about her wrist, tugging her along behind him. As he did, the crowd that had formed in the cafeteria seemed to part like waves. Soon the two of them were standing in the hallway without even having said a word yet to each other. They rounded a corner in the hallway when Twyla pulled up short, yanking her arm free of the stranger's grasp.

"Who the heck are you?" she asked. "What did you do that for?"

"It would appear that a 'thank you' would be too much to ask for," said the man with a smirk that just made an already irritated Twyla even more so.

"If you are friends with Jungwon, I told him I'd be fine," said Twyla. "You can tell him I don't need some nameless babysitter saving me."

All Twyla wanted to do was find the nearest bathroom to go try to wash up and cry for a moment, but this man was keeping her from doing so and he wouldn't stop looking her up and down. The bell ringing for the start of the next period was her saving grace as she brushed past her rescuer and towards the bathroom. He turned to watch her go, the edge of a cat paw tattoo on his left wrist slightly visible as it poked out from underneath the sleeve of his school uniform.

"I can't believe she might be the one to help me break this curse," said the man with a scoff before turning to disappear down the hall as if he'd never been there in the first place.

I know that some of my readers were waiting for me to try my hand at an Enhypen fanfiction, so here you go! I hope this will be an enjoyable read. I will certainly try my best. This fanfiction was inspired by my bad luck filled week last week (I mean, I had a little dead fly in my coffee) and the music video for "Brought The Heat Back" (which I've included below).
